"I loved the pool, and the food was great. I am not a big fan of their breakfast, but I highly recommend their vegetable and mushroom or chicken and vegetable fried rice. The price was reasonable too.
The location is quieter than other places I have stayed or came upon. It is far away from karaoke shops so you don't hear much singing than other places. The room was decent and clean, even though the bathroom could be bigger with better water pressure.
Overall, I would like to stay here again."

"Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable."

"It is a lodging place to go diving. 10 minutes walk from Soldai Bus. Staff are friendly and clean. There is no refrigerator, but you can keep your personal drinks in the counter refrigerator. It's cheap and the air conditioning is good. Karaoke around late? I was worried that it was very noisy, but no one was noisy."

"1. The room was large and comfortable. I was amazed when I saw the balcony. There is a welcome drink upon check-in.
2. The hotel has its own restaurant and massage service. The Western food is not as good as it tastes, but it is not bad. The price of the food is 45, 671 yuan, and the drink is 20 or 30 yuan a piece. Massage is about a hundred dollars less than an hour.
3. The hotel is located on the beach. It is very relaxing to order a drink and sit in the restaurant by the beach for half a day. It feels like all the worries are taken away by the blue sea, blue sky and breeze. The children went to the beach to play in the water by themselves (pay attention to safety, our children are older, and we even took the diver's certificate here for 2,000 yuan, which is great value)
4. The people here are simple and honest, and there is no such intrigue. Adults and children will say hello to you when you walk on the road. A crew member's daily income is only about thirty or forty yuan a day, which is not enough to earn a living every day. So please try not to take advantage of them. Once, a crew member gave me a banana. I didn’t leave a tip after eating it (he didn’t show any need for me to tip). When I later found out about their income, I always regretted it. They were so poor. They are so generous to us, I should give a tip, they are very grateful for just two or three yuan.
5. However, the tap water on the island is salty, so sisters who love beauty can buy mineral water to wash their face in advance, otherwise the speed of darkening will be visible to the naked eye.
The most common people I see here are families of three from Europe and the United States, with many children.

"1. The beach is good, the best in Malapuskua;
2. The location is inconvenient, far from the pier and the market, there are no shops nearby, decent places where you can dine, not at the hotel, either;
3. Food in the hotel restaurant is expensive (1.5-2 times higher than on the south side) and poorly prepared;
4. It is better not to take breakfast - either rotten ham or burnt rice;
5. Upon arrival, you will be surprised to learn that you need to sign a document with a bunch of ”not allowed” - in particular, do not bring anything to eat and drink into the room, only bought from them at three prices, otherwise the ”cork” fi in the amount of 1000 pesos and a lot of things from 10-12 points;
6. The rooms are clean, the plumbing is in good condition, there is hot water with a very low degree of salinity;
7. In general, all the negative reviews on the Google map for the hotel are true.
I do not recommend the hotel for booking, only if the priority is to have a good beach."

"Excellent staff, polite and helpful. When we booked the room, it was the first floor, but when we arrived, they settled us on the second floor with a sea view. It was very nice.
Since people come to Malapascua mainly for diving, having a place to dry equipment is extremely necessary. We had a balcony where we could do this on the last day after diving. And the main thing is that after lunch the sun goes to the other side and there was shade on our side. It is important to wake up at dawn in order to admire the beautiful view and have time to put away the equipment. :)
The hotel makes breakfasts for the time you specify. If you go out to sea at 6 am, then having made an order for 5 am, it will be waiting for you at the reception hot.

"The hotel is right on the beach and in a great location. The Filipino service is also warm and courteous, and the breakfast is very good. Room facilities are relatively simple, plus 500 pesos / day to stay in the ordinary room to enjoy air conditioning. MMartina L..We stayed at Tepanee beach for a week. We didn't want to leave anymore. The owners, Silvia and Andrea, in addition to being extremely pleasant people to converse with, have created a small paradise in Malapascua, with a keen eye on good food, the peaceful atmosphere of the environment and respect for the nature in which they have invested lots of energy. At Tepanee you will find all the elements to be able to relax without getting bored, to rediscover yourself in nature, in slowness and attention to small details, including a small multilingual library from which to draw wonderful stories! A warm hug, we will definitely see each other again

SSHIFANIn fact, it’s a foreigner’s dive resort. If you are on your own charter, you must take the boat to the beach at the hotel entrance. There is a power outage at least once a day, and then the water is used for washing and washing. Boss Sheng Zai and his wife are more enthusiastic. If you mind, you can go to Fish Brothers Hotel, they have power generation.

Завтрак можно заказать из меню с 7 утра открывается кофе. Насекомые едят день и ночь 🫣 кондиционер в номере работают настолько громко, иногда кажется что мы взлетаем вместе с избушкой 🤣 очень шумно- начиная от кондиционера и до 11 вечера гуляют кафе поблизости, в три часа ночи начинают просыпаться соседи на экскурсии, день и ночь гоняют на мотоциклах … спали исключительно в берушах.

The room I stayed was facing a very noisy road filled with traffic noise and it’s surrounded by local houses with noisy roosters that start at 3:30 am. There’s no swimming pool as it shows in the pictures. It’s under frozen construction which was right over my room. There’s no hot shower.
The owner is very sweet and welcoming! Very nice lady Ruby. She gave many useful tips about the island and helped with booking the diving course.
If you’re not a diver, this place is not the best option for you. There’s not much to do on the island. It’s very undeveloped and there’s are only few stops to enjoy the beach life.

It looks like it hasn't been finished because the room has good fixtures but needs a cupboard and hot water (it wasn't too cold )
