"I had an unrefundable booking in this hotel. After my flight was canceled, I had to contact Trip.com to request the reservation and the amount. Trip.com The hotel management refused to cancel because of the policy of unreturned booking, and sent me an official message that the cancellation request was rejected and the booking was still in place. Two days later, I could book another flight, and when I arrived at the hotel (two days later), I was surprised that the booking was no longer there. The hotel management told me that Trip.com had notified them to cancel the booking, and that the hotel had received no money for this booking. And the suite that was reserved for me was allocated to other inmates. In other words, I didn't get a refund, and at the same time I didn't find a reservation on my arrival, and as a result I had to book two new rooms and pay extra fees from my pocket. I still cannot understand how the booking could be “irrecoverable” and canceled, and then discovered when I arrived that the booking had already been canceled and no longer existed. It was a very frustrating experience that caused financial losses and great pressure on my family during my travel."
