Sanco Inn Iseshi-Ekimae Shikinoyu ★★★
"It was nice because it's close to the station and has parking. Just be aware that the parking lot is a bit narrow. Also, parking costs 1,000 yen from 3 PM to 10 AM."
Ise City Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is dated and showing its age. It’s right beside the railway and therefore quite loud at times. The rooms are small but comfy. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. There is a grocery store across the street and a 7/11 nearby. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the train station."
Ise Pearl Pier Hotel ★★★
"Hotel is located in walking distance to Iseshi station. While there seems to be limited food options in the vicinity, there is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel."
EN Hotel Ise ★★★
"Good location. At lobby they provide free coffee, tea and water."
fav ISE ★★★
"It feels like an apartment converted into a hotel. The room was very spacious, enough for a one-year-old to run around, and there was only one small step, so it was generally very safe. The room also had a microwave, cutlery, dishes, and knives."
Hotel Castle Inn Ise ★★★
"It was only about a 10-minute drive to Ise Grand Shrine, and there were plenty of great places to eat nearby! The front desk staff were also very helpful. The large public bath was a bit crapshoot, as it was covered in grime. The price was cheaper than other hotels, so I recommend it for those looking for a budget stay!!"
FLYCAT INN Ise ★★
"I was confused when checking in. I would appreciate it if you could explain things more clearly."
Comfort Hotel Era Ise ★★★
"Clean, tidy, and quiet, with convenient transportation and a pleasant view outside the window."
Isegekusando Iseshinsen ★★★★
"Hotel is located only a minute away from train station but it's so quiet in hotel. Room was clean and comfort, and also well maintained. Dinner & breakfast were so good than all hotels or ryokans we had in Japan so far with similar rate level. Staffs were all so nice and helpful, no matter in restaurant or at front desk. It's also surprised for us as our room was equipped with onsen bathtub, so we could enjoy onsen both in our room or in public bath. We had a joyful stay and would highly recommend this hotel in Ise for travelers."

Inishieno yado IKYU【Reopening in April, 2026】
"This was my first trip with my partner, so I stayed here. Hotels are nice, but I personally prefer inns and guesthouses, so I looked them up on Google and made a reservation. First of all, just as the reviews had said, the service and atmosphere were excellent. I used both the large public bath and the open-air bath attached to my room, and was satisfied with both. If I were to be greedy, I would say that as a woman, I would be happier if the amenities in the room were a little better. It was only one night, but thank you very much."
Oishiya
"The hotel was comfortable and cozy. The dinner and breakfast, in particular, were incredibly delicious and truly unforgettable."

"Experience the fun of a Japanese inn"
Hatago Vison
"This time it was the day before a public holiday, so we were able to get a great deal. For breakfast, we were able to choose the tempura kaiseki menu served at the freshly fried counter, which is limited to 10 people a day, and felt very luxurious from the morning. You can use the medicinal herbal bath as many times as you like with your room key, and they even offer soft serve ice cream when you take a morning bath. It was a wonderful stay, blessed with good weather."
Iwatokan
"The small seaside inn is very close to Futamiura. Although the interior is a bit old, it's very clean and the exterior is new. The owner is very welcoming and chatty (if you speak Japanese), and he told me a lot of information about nearby transportation and attractions. The only downside is the faucet in the bathroom sink; it doesn't have hot water and leaks, so you have to use a lot of force to tighten it."
Somin-No-Yu Hotel Seikai
"All good, great hotel for enjoying local attractions"
Auberge Yusura
"Every year, we try to organize a four-generation family trip (on Mrs. KI-NRT’s side), where everyone can enjoy each other’s company while visiting a destination that offers something for all ages - from grade school kids to mobility-limited elders. For this year’s outing, we chose the Ise area of Mie Prefecture, on the eastern side of the massive Kii Peninsula (shared by Mie, Wakayama, and Nara). There’s plenty to do in the area, including Toba (a seaside resort town), the excellent Toba Aquarium, Mikimoto Pearl Island, and Ise Jingu Shrine. Many of these attractions are within 20 minutes of Auberge Yusura, which was a major reason we chose this ryokan. We considered returning to Kisara Bettei Toki, which we enjoyed for its ocean views, but Auberge Yusura had exactly five rooms - perfect for our group - allowing us to effectively book out the entire property for our two-night stay. Guest reviews also leaned more positively toward Yusura, especially for its service and cuisine, which further tipped the scales. Auberge Yusura opened in 2018 and has a clean, modern aesthetic. All five accommodations are standalone villas with no shared walls, facing a small saltwater pond. The grounds aren’t expansive, but they’re beautifully landscaped. The main building houses a small lounge and the dining area - simple and functional. Two villas sit to the left of the main building, and three to the right. While the detached layout is great for seclusion, privacy isn’t perfect. There’s a walking path on the far side of the pond, and although we only saw one person during our stay, you’ll probably want to keep that in mind if you have the curtains open at night. For the three villas on the right side, the pathway runs between the pond and the rooms, which further reduces privacy. Thankfully, the open-air onsen baths are located behind the villas, surrounded by gardens and high walls that ensure full seclusion. The two villas on the left side don’t have this issue - the pathway runs behind them, making them much more private. For that reason, I’d recommend Keyaki and Kaede if privacy is a priority. Among the three villas on the right, Tochi is the end unit, but even there, the path continues beyond it toward a garden, so occasional foot traffic is still possible. The rooms themselves are not true suites - they’re open-plan, which isn’t our preference. All rooms except Keyaki are 65 square meters, which is adequate but can feel a bit tight for families. Keyaki is larger at 80 square meters and offers the most privacy, though the layout is similar enough that it doesn’t feel dramatically different from the others. Each room has an open-air onsen bath, but the property does not have its own natural hot spring source. Instead, water is transported from Sakakibara Onsen in Tsu (about 45 minutes away), which is known for its silky texture. While it’s not continuously flowing, this setup is fairly common. Guests are even advised not to rinse off after bathing due to"
Hotel Vison
"I stayed in a villa. The building itself is truly wonderful, but there isn't enough storage space in the closets and other areas, so it was a bit difficult to put away my luggage, and there was no place to hang towels, so I had no choice but to put them on the floor, table, or bed. It's a small thing, but since I was paying over 200,000 yen per night, I didn't want to have to endure this kind of stress."
Ryoso Uminocho
"The room is nice, I recommend the Japanese-style and Japanese-style room"
Sennomori
"I think this is a great hotel for families. I booked it as a couple without really understanding why, so it's a △. The reason is that we arrived late, so there were no restaurants nearby. It's a resort hotel, so that's to be expected, haha."
Tabist Asanokan Annex Iroha Ise
"It was comfortable."
