"This glamping lodge in Xinduqiao completely shattered my preconceived notions of high-altitude camping! It's truly the perfect stopover on the journey into Tibet or for an immersive experience in Western Sichuan, and absolutely deserves a five-star rating! My first and foremost impression was the incredible cleanliness! I initially had reservations about the hygiene standards of high-altitude campsites or guesthouses, but this place was absolutely immaculate. Whether it was inside the tents or in the common areas, the floors, tables, and bedding were all meticulously arranged and tidy. The bedding was pristine and dry, exuding a fresh, sun-kissed scent. The shared but ample and private-feeling bathroom/wash area was also kept exceptionally clean, completely free of odors or standing water. To find such a fresh and spotless environment at this altitude instantly put me at ease and comfort. Secondly, the facilities were surprisingly comprehensive and well-appointed! I never imagined a glamping lodge at this altitude could be so thoroughly equipped: • Essential Safeguard - Oxygen Supply System: This was truly what impressed me the most! Their promise of 'ample oxygen' was no exaggeration! Each room came with a permanent oxygen supply system (not those small, flimsy portable cans); simply attach the nasal cannula, and you get a steady, abundant, and pure flow of oxygen. For first-time high-altitude travelers or those concerned about altitude sickness, it's an absolute lifesaver! This dramatically improved my sleep quality, eliminating any fear of waking up in the middle of the night with a headache. This feature alone completely justified the cost of the stay!"

Facing the Yala Snow Mountain 🏔️, the view is breathtaking just by opening the curtains; it's a truly wonderful experience. I only have one small suggestion for improvement: the public areas are a bit dirty, with many footprints. Also, the prices at the front desk coffee bar are too high; an Americano is 42, and lattes and other items are almost 50…"

"The front desk staff were absolutely lovely! So warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Our original room's projector wasn't working, so they promptly moved us to another one. We went during the off-season, and it was also their restocking period, so we couldn't have a bonfire, which was a bit of a shame. However, the environment is still beautiful. The breakfast was incredibly considerate; because we were suffering from altitude sickness, they brought a full meal directly to our room. It was a well-balanced and nutritious mix of meat and vegetables. Plus, it's dog-friendly! It's definitely worth it, and I've already recommended it to my friends."

"The room is ******* style, with a natural smell of wood. The room is large, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, the yard is large and convenient for parking, and there are charging stations. If you are traveling by car, it is more convenient to eat nearby, right in Xinduqiao Town. Of course, the National Day house prices are also very touching. The only thing is that the breakfast is too simple and does not match the room price at all. There is nothing I can do about it, it’s a big mistake to travel on National Day. I like that the B&B has an oxygen concentrator that can be rented, and the price is much more beautiful than Mount Siguniang. It completely saved me and my trip from high fever."

The boss and family are hospitable and invited us to their hall to warm up and drink milk tea. The proprietress is very skilled, the dishes are very delicious and the price is fair. The yard is spacious, apple flowers are in full bloom, swings, umbrellas, and roasting basins are all available. It is a good place to read books, take a nap, and watch the stars. Parking is convenient and very close to the scenic spot. This is our paradise."

Everything you need. The view is just stunning. I slept the curtains open to be with the mountains, even at wake up with the sunrise which is just amazing ! The breakfast buffet was diverse and nice. I enjoyed it ;) The team has been so nice and looking to help me ! Can only advise you to stay there."
Kangding Tingshan Hot Spring Homestay
"Escaping the Chengdu heat, I chose the Kangding Tingshan Sen Gu Hot Spring B&B for a weekend trip to Mugecuo. The B&B boasts a large, impressive architectural design with several buildings, the tallest being 7 stories. The facilities are brand new, stylish, and impeccably clean. The butler kindly upgraded me to a suite for free, which was incredibly spacious and even had two bathrooms. The butler service was exceptional; they called hours in advance to confirm my arrival time and provide essential information. Throughout my stay, any request I had was met with immediate attention. There's a private, spacious, and secure parking lot directly across the road from the B&B. While breakfast wasn't extensive, each person received a small set meal. The rice noodles were particularly delicious, even better than the trendy beef rice noodles near my home. Due to time constraints, I could only stay one night, but I'll definitely choose Tingshan B&B again for my next trip around the Kangding loop."

"Almost 300 RMB during the off-season isn't exactly cheap, but the B&B owner upgraded our room for free. They picked us up and dropped us off, and parking at the B&B requires their guidance as the road is a bit narrow. It's an 8-minute walk to Liuliu Town at the foot of the mountain, but walking back up is a bit strenuous."

"Overall, it was pretty good, aside from being a bit close to the highway. The rooms were clean and tidy, and most of the staff were young, with great attitudes and a cheerful vibe, which was nice. The outdoor hot springs felt good too; I imagine they'd be even more beautiful during the autumn foliage. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was—it's rare to find a hotel in Western Sichuan with both good ingredients and delicious flavors. I especially recommend the breakfast tsampa and butter tea. The rice noodle hotpot was also tasty."
