Hot space generally, daily room care and towels change. Very basic. Negative: For a four-star, it needs renovation in many places, when you even pay for four nights almost €500. The twist in the bathroom (as in the room) was wooden, which, of course, had "dust" from the humidity and old age while the twist-screen curtain of the bath was not sitting in its place. The waters that I was in the waist were in the opposite direction and some water was ponded and you had to push them with your hand. But this kind of floor air conditioning (I don't know what it's called) made enough noise during its operation. The 'balcony' is incomplete, completely narrow, of course, winter is not needed. Conclusion: I would go back but only if I hadn't found anything else. It's a place with a lot of possibilities but at the moment it's worth nothing for the I wish he was given the attention."

"We stayed here on an overnight trip from Athens, in order to do an am tour of Meteora (Visit meteora 1/2 day tour). It's not far by foot from the train station, it's on the main road so lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We were able to check-in to our room a little bit early and then we spent the afternoon exploring Kalambaka by foot. The hotel was clean and decently priced. Some of the rooms have a view of Meteora and others have a view of the other mountain range (can't remember the name). Breakfast in the am was substantial and filling. They have a mix of Greek treats with yogurt, fruit, egg, bread, cheese, etc. It's a very friendly, family run hotel. They let us store our luggage in the am while on our tour. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if ever get back to Greece."

We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant in the evening. "Epavlis was the perfect place for our stay at Meteora. There are many beautiful views and the location was ideal for access to the monasteries and to walk to the downtown restaurants. The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious and filled with many Greek specialties. However, what really made our stay memorable was how nice the owners and the staff are. Spiros took the time to give us detailed directions to trails so that we were actually able to hike from the hotel to the Holy Trinity Monastery. He also kindly shared some of their house made wine with us while giving us a Greek language lesson which helped us for the next 2 weeks in Greece. We would 100% stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to come back to the area."

"Loved the location, the villa and the management. Our villa had a beautiful balcony view over the lake and a wood fire inside a well as central heating. The owners were super kind and friendly. The hotel villas are in a very remote location high in the mountains and that's what we loved about it. Stunning scenery all around, it was beautiful. Dinner was available at the hotel but we wanted to go for a drive. We had coffee and a light meal at Plaz Pezoulas which was about a 15min drive away. The shower was hot and breakfast was nice. The owner gave us 4 bottles of water for our drive upon checkout which was very thoughtful. 10/10"
