"Pro: spacious room, free parking, friendly staff. Reasonably extensive breakfast. At 100 m from the hotel you could take the direct tram (no. 23) to Heidelberg center. Tip: buy your tickets (round-trip) in Leimen (2.60 euros pp) instead of on return in Heidelberg (3.20 euros pp). Recreational area with open-air swimming pool just next to the hotel (entrance 4 euros per person). Con: very warm in the room and no air conditioning, but a fan is available. This hotel needs a serious update, and I am talking about the carpet that needs to be replaced, the walls need a lick of paint and the garden needs to be cleaned etc..."

"I thought I'd booked a queen-size bed, but what arrived was twin beds. The space between the beds is as wide as in Brazil, so it's difficult to push them together. That's fine, I guess. However, it's a bit annoying that there's no one at reception both at check-in and check-out, which takes so long. The good news is that there's a cash-only restaurant, McDonald's, and Subway next door, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner."
