"The stay was unfortunately a complete disaster. The floor in the room was badly stained and looked unhygienic – completely unacceptable for a hotel. But it got even worse: during the night, part of the ceiling collapsed! This could have been extremely dangerous. I immediately reported the incident to reception, but received neither an apology nor any suggestion of a solution. Even after my written complaint, I still haven't received any response. No customer service, no sense of responsibility. A hotel that doesn't address such issues is absolutely not recommended. I will definitely not be returning – and I can only advise everyone to do their research beforehand."

"This hotel is very very centrally located and with air conditioners in the room! It is just few minutes walk to most of the scenic points. We were there during the heat wave when the temperature was like 40 degree celcius so we were able to get back to the hotel to cool down and take rest and went out again whenever we wished. Service is top notch compared to most German hotels and staff speak fluent English. We also had dinner at the restaurant which turned out to be the best food we have during the 3 week German trip."

"I had to pay €376 for two nights. What for, however, will forever remain a mystery to me. The hotel is located in the city center, but that's about it. Check-in is impossible before 4:00 PM. The procedure is cumbersome, as a registration form has to be filled out despite booking online. At this price point, such a form is already prepared and only needs to be signed. The way to the room defies description. The rolling suitcase first has to be navigated through a narrow passage to the elevator. Then, you have to use the room key to operate the elevator, otherwise it won't go. Once on the third floor, an odyssey through a labyrinth of corridors ensues, ending in a stairwell. You have to use the room key again to open the next door, otherwise you'll have to sleep on the tiles... Under no circumstances should you lose the room key, as the way back is only possible with it, and just as often. After the next labyrinth, I finally arrive at the "room." I don't know what I did wrong, but I felt like I was in a prison. A bed, no wardrobe, no bedside table, two stools, a wooden board on the wall, and in the bathroom only small towels and not even a toothbrush mug. Everywhere there were signs advertising free Wi-Fi, but my room was in a gloomy back alley, so there was no signal. So, my laptop was a wasted effort. Okay, the city center sights are within easy walking distance, but for that price? It's simply not justified. Half the price would have been too much. In the end, I had a nice stay in Leipzig, but this hotel was a complete disaster."
