Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel
"It is really close to locations like Potala Palace, Bakhor street. Many food options around and I highly recommend the restaurant at level 6."
Lhasa Reziba Hotel
"The staff here is sooooo cool. As soon as I arrived, they took my heavy luggage and settled me in in a nice room. AC is icy cold, high speed wifi. Room is clean and essential. I had some struggle with using Wechat to pay with a foreign card, and they helped me adding cash to WeChat pay. I was feeling the altitude sickness and they helped me with O2 and effective medicine loco uses. Some details such as they use pressurized O2 bottle as supply instead of the cheap household regenerative ones. They don't charge for bottle of water. These gestures go a long way! Finally, the facility itself is a ******* style courthouse with an art store next to it and location is inside of Barkor street old town. This enabled me to explore near by foot. Even with DIDI, it was quite convient - just about a 5 min walk to get to the pick up spot. I like this place so much I extended my stay!"
Tibethostel Scenic Hotel (Potala Palace)
"The location is excellent, and the service was good too. Both of our rooms got upgraded. However, the air conditioning in the west-facing room wasn't powerful enough; it couldn't cool down the room, so it was a bit hot at night."
ChunQiu Oxygen-Rich Hotel
"Traveling solo but leading a group, I booked two standard twin rooms and one king room. Our stay at the Lhasa Chunqiu Fuyuan Oxygen Hotel was completely comfortable, alleviating all concerns about staying at high altitude. Each room was thoughtfully equipped. The twin rooms had generously sized single beds, ensuring a comfortable sleep without feeling cramped. The king room's mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. Every room features an independent oxygen supply system with adjustable oxygen concentration, and there were even nasal oxygen tubes readily available in the drawer, a truly considerate detail perfectly suited for high-altitude stays. The rooms were brightly lit with excellent natural light, and the wooden furniture felt high-quality. There was no dust in the corners, and the sheets and duvet covers were clean and odor-free, with quality toiletries provided. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. When a companion felt a bit dizzy late at night, the staff immediately brought glucose drinks, offering warm and prompt service. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options, making it convenient for taxis and meals. The hotel also provides free parking and luggage storage. With different room types, our group could stay without disturbing each other, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring our rest was completely uninterrupted. From the hardware facilities to the personal service, everything showed great care. This hotel is a hidden gem for accommodation in Lhasa."
Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel
"Exceeded my expectations, I'm very satisfied! It's more modern than the St. Regis and offers better views than The Arokam. The 6th floor provides absolutely stunning views of the Potala Palace – I'm incredibly happy with it. Complimentary oxygen: Super helpful, my blood oxygen easily stayed above 90. Potala Palace View Cafe Voucher: You don't actually need this voucher to enjoy the free view, which is beautiful, especially at night. You can also see the 'Long Live the Motherland' slogan from there."
Lobbum Tsang Boutique Hotel
"The facilities are complete, and the hygiene is clean and comfortable. The environment is beautiful, and there's an open-air restaurant on the top floor. The front desk lady was especially nice and very enthusiastic, and we received a welcome gift upon check-in."
Lhasa Fanlian Hotel
"Traveling to Lhasa with my family, we stayed at the Vanlen Hotel the entire time, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience – so many pros, I can't even list them all! 1. **Amazing Environment and Facilities** Both the interior and exterior of the hotel are stunning, and you can see the Potala Palace from the rooftop terrace. The room amenities are meticulously thought out, including disposable face towels, and unlimited oxygen diffusion throughout the entire room. In the evenings, they thoughtfully provided a Thermos filled with millet porridge and 'goodnight' milk, so we didn't have to worry about altitude sickness. 2. **Thoughtful and Abundant Breakfast** The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, paired with fresh fruits, catering to the dietary needs of both adults and children. It was both warming and comforting. There were also exquisite afternoon tea cakes served daily. 3. **Rich ******* Culture Family Experience** The hotel offered many complimentary special activities, and we participated in all of them: Thangka painting, handmade ******* incense making, and singing bowl sound healing. Our child was able to immerse themselves in ******* intangible cultural heritage and learn extensively about ******* culture. 4. **Heartwarming Souvenirs** The room came with complimentary exclusive ******* hats and a collection of Tsangyang Gyatso's poetry, which are incredibly memorable and allowed us to bring home unique memories and the poetry of the snow-covered land. 5. **Excellent Professional Service** A huge thank you to the front desk lady, the beautiful Gacao, who was enthusiastic and meticulous throughout our stay. She helped us book activities in advance and patiently responded to all our requests. Her service was professional, gentle, and thorough. Whether you're traveling with family or seeking some solitude, Vanlen is the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family planning to visit Tibet. Next time I'm in Lhasa, I'll definitely stay here again!"
Puxin Fuyang · Scenic Homestay (Lhasa Potala Palace Barkhor Street)
"Bringing family to Lhasa, our biggest concerns were altitude sickness and transportation inconvenience, and this guesthouse took good care of both. There was a free nasal oxygen concentrator in the lobby, and some rooms even had individual oxygen machines, which was reassuring for first-time visitors to high altitudes. The receptionist and owner were very attentive, reminding us not to rush, to drink plenty of water, and to rest as much as possible upon arrival. The location was also convenient, within walking distance of the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. The rooms provided disposable towels, bath towels, and toilet seat covers, making us feel clean and at ease with family. The owner was incredibly welcoming, patiently chatting with my parents and even offering suggestions for our next day's activities. Our stay felt very personal and welcoming, not just a cold, impersonal accommodation."

Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa
"The hotel was clean and tidy, and the rooms were well-equipped with oxygen concentrators and humidifiers. The front desk staff and other hotel employees were all very friendly and accommodating. We received complimentary fruit in our room, and the living room offered a direct view of the Potala Palace. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the staff at the executive lounge were very enthusiastic with their service. Although I experienced some altitude sickness, the hotel's thoughtful service made our stay very comfortable and pleasant."
Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel (Lhasa Municipal Government)
"Everything was great, and the breakfast was delicious! I'd definitely stay here again. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was tasty. There's free parking downstairs, the lobby has a ******* style, and all the facilities are complete. It's really worth staying, and I'll come back again. Check-in was super quick too!"

Kangsang Youth Hostel (Potala Palace Jokhang Temple)
"Friendly staff and the big fluffy dog was the best part. Walking distance from Potala Palace which was nice"
ji Hotel
"I always choose the Ji Hotel, part of the Huazhu Group, when I travel. Their quality is consistently good, and the locations are always excellent. For our family of three, we opted for a twin-bedded family room, which had decent space, though a sofa would have made it even better. They provided a dark green toiletry bag that you could keep, and I thought the design was quite nice. It's also very convenient for visiting Jokhang Temple, just a 10-minute walk away. Everything nearby is easily accessible, with great food, sights, and activities. Definitely worth choosing."
Padma Chumig Garden Hotel
"Very good service attitude"
Susheng Guizang Manor Hotel
"The environment is beautiful, the room facilities are complete, and the room is spacious and bright with excellent cleanliness. The service is attentive, and the staff's attitude is great. They offer 24-hour free oxygen supply. The hotel has its own dedicated parking lot, and the breakfast is delicious 😋. Highly recommended!"
Danzhe Linshe Fuyang Hotel
"The facilities are outdated, the windows have no screens, the room is small, there's no air conditioning, and the toilet door is a barn door that's hard to close properly; the gap opens right up to the window where the curtains can't be fully closed. The room is on the second floor, so at night, if you're alone, you have to close the window and stay inside."
Lhasa Barkhor Street Dekang Fuoxi View B&B (Potala Palace Jokhang Temple)
"Facilities: The hotel facilities are excellent. There's underfloor heating which keeps the room very warm. The rooms are spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated. I came with friends, and the Tsom Noodles shop downstairs is super convenient. It's also very close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hygiene: It's very clean. I stayed for three consecutive days, and they always conscientiously helped tidy up the room, change the bedsheets, and restock toiletries and mineral water. I love the Tibetan-style decor. Environment: The environment is great. There's a specialty restaurant upstairs, and the complimentary local snacks in the room are delicious. Service: The front desk staff's service attitude is wonderful, very satisfied. Five-star rating, I'll be back next time."

Gesang Huaxiang Xiangfen Hotel(the Potala Palace Baguo Street Store)
"Have Lhasa hotel prices gone down? The hotel we stayed at was really affordable. Even though it's not on a main street and parking is tight with limited spots, we felt very comfortable and safe. During the day, we'd go sightseeing; bus route 24 right outside takes you directly to Zaki Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. The owners are friendly, always giving us an extra one or two bottles of water in addition to the standard two. They also have a great driver who helped us park perfectly. We stayed for three days, and it's quite close to Jokhang Temple Square."
Sende Scenic Oxygen-Rich Homestay
"The room has a great view, with a panoramic view of the Potala Palace. The owner is warm and thoughtful, and the atmosphere is very good. The terrace on the fourth floor has a view. It is highly recommended and very cost-effective!"
Qingpu Hotel
"The shower gel is expired and it is watery when squeezed out. The front desk claimed that a customer poured water into it. I want to ask if a customer really poured water into it, didn't you check it? The hot water ran out halfway through the shower. I called the front desk and asked. The front desk said there was nothing I could do. It's really great. The breakfast is really good. I'll be honest."
Lhasa Chijiang Larang Historic Hotel (Bakuo Street Jokhang Temple Branch)
"Great ******* style luxury hotel in the center of lhasa. Walk to many shops and restaurants. My room had oxygen and heated floor. Staff helped me with luggage."
