ChunQiu Oxygen-Rich Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 12 Yutuo Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Choosing the Spring and Autumn Oxygen Hotel for my Lhasa trip was definitely the right decision; the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent central location, just a 10-minute walk from Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. This means no long commutes for sightseeing and pilgrimages. The surrounding area is packed with ******* restaurants and outdoor shops, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's overall atmosphere is tranquil and elegant, offering a peaceful escape amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, featuring wooden floors and minimalist ******* soft furnishings that create a warm and relaxing ambiance. The amenities are comprehensive: all rooms have 24-hour diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers with adjustable oxygen flow. They even thoughtfully provide nasal cannulas and oximeters, perfectly addressing the challenges of high-altitude hypoxia and dryness. The bathroom is designed with a wet/dry separation, offering stable hot water all day. Tea sets, charging facilities, and high-quality toiletries are also fully equipped, showing great attention to detail. Cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. Guest rooms, hallways, and public areas are meticulously cleaned at regular intervals daily. The bedding is soft and odor-free, and there's no dust or stains on surfaces or corners; the bathroom is dry and spotless. From its prime location and comfortable living environment to its complete amenities and strict cleaning protocols, every aspect provides peace of mind. It's perfectly suitable for both solo travelers and those traveling with companions. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa."

Kangsang Youth Hostel (Potala Palace Jokhang Temple) ★★

📍 50 meters north of KFC, Shenli Times Plaza, Duosenge North Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"The triple room is large, with a separate bathroom, hot water, strong floor heating, soft mattress, and 15 yuan breakfast on the first floor. It is very close to Jokhang Temple and Jokhang Temple. One problem is that the bed next to the bathroom will be noisy at night."

Thangka Hotel
9.3 (1,074 reviews)

Thangka Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 38 Yutuo Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Satisfactory aspects: The room was nice and had ethnic characteristics; the hotel's location was excellent (we had a travel companion with mobility issues); the service and communication were very satisfactory (there was a third-party system error with another platform regarding room extensions, but the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with them, and the receptionist, Yangji, provided excellent service; the overall service quality was also very good); the breakfast was delicious and we were very satisfied; the room cleaning was also satisfactory. -- The only unsatisfactory aspect was: the toothbrush bristles were shedding. After rinsing my mouth, 5 or 6 bristles got stuck between my teeth, and I had to stop and pull them out while rinsing. (Bringing your own toothbrush solved this problem.) -- Suggestion: If possible, if the hotel renovates again, it could add features catering to younger travelers (such as self-service laundry and a self-service bar). -- There are attractions downstairs, and you can walk to Namased Restaurant. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get around. The attached pictures show nearby attractions and restaurants."

La Garry Snow Dragon Manor Resort(Potala Palace Branch) ★★★★

📍 No. 3 Huandao South Road, Zhonghe International City (Sun Island), Chengguan District, Lhasa

"This hotel is absolutely worth staying at! I just experienced it last night. The service attitude is excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The room decor is also very elegant. Plus, they offer free, high-quality central diffused oxygen, as well as nasal oxygen, which allowed those of us with altitude sickness to sleep safely and peacefully through the night. The breakfast in the morning had a wide variety of options and was of very good quality. It's the perfect choice for business trips, tourism, or family vacations."

Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel

Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 10 Yutuo Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"After looking at many hotels, I finally settled on this one. Its location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, and Potala Palace. Plus, the Thai restaurant on the 6th floor has really authentic food with great views. You can even spot the famous Xia Lam restaurant across the street. I was so impressed that I chose to stay here again after spending 4 days in Nyingchi. That just shows how much I approve of this hotel! The butler service was also excellent."

Lobbum Tsang Boutique Hotel

Lobbum Tsang Boutique Hotel ★★★

📍 No. 89, Xingfu New Village, Niangre Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"The amenities are very comprehensive, including an oxygen concentrator, humidifier, electric kettle, and hairdryer. The staff even proactively sent instructions for the oxygen concentrator. The service attitude was excellent; we were offered a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf) and hot milk tea upon arrival. The room decor has a lovely ethnic style. What I particularly loved was the bathroom – it's spacious, very bright, features a wet/dry separation, and even has a magnifying mirror! I'm very satisfied 🥰 There's a restaurant upstairs with fantastic views, perfect for enjoying a meal while admiring the distant mountains. My only regret is not having enough time to try the Nepalese cuisine. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time."

Chao Ye Rich Oxygen Observation Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace)

Chao Ye Rich Oxygen Observation Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace) ★★★

📍 No. 4, Village Group 3, Zone 1, Xuexin Village, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"You can view the view. There are also many free drinks. Of course, you can also pay for other special drinks. The overall appearance of the hotel does not make people feel amazing at a glance, but it is absolutely treasure. The decoration inside has a combination of Tibetan and modern styles. The supporting facilities are particularly good. The whole house is oxygen, humidified, this must be available in Lhasa, the location is excellent, not far from the nearby attractions, there is a parking place at the entrance of the hotel, the front desk lady will also help find a location to park. Our family of three lived very comfortably, especially with children who wanted to live clean and tidy. Originally, there were a lot of luggage supplies for children. I really didn't plan to bring any disposable bedding, so I chose the hotel very carefully. I looked at it and looked at it. It seems that my choice is correct. , Finally, let's say a point! Some rooms lie on the bed and wake up and open the curtains to see the Potala Palace, and there is a night view of the Potala Palace on the top of the hotel building, which is better than the night view seen in the Potala Palace Square."

Susheng Guizang Manor Hotel
9.1 (889 reviews)

Susheng Guizang Manor Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 10 Bolinka Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"The service at this hotel truly lives up to its reputation. Right after landing, hotel staff were already there to pick me up from the airport. Every detail, from check-in to check-out, was meticulously taken care of. The surroundings are beautiful, the breakfast spread is generous, and the facilities are comprehensive. The courtyard now feels much more vibrant and inviting than before, featuring a container-style outdoor cafe and evening courtyard BBQs. What's more, they offer complimentary 24-hour oxygen supply, which significantly reduces the risk of altitude sickness."

"I booked a king-sized bed room, and they kindly upgraded me to a suite. While I appreciate it, the room was ridiculously spacious, almost comically so 😅. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Barkhor Street and the Potala Palace. The view from the sixth floor is definitely the highlight."

"The location of the hotel is very good 👍 You can walk to the Potala Palace on Barkhor Street of Jokhang Temple. There are also many restaurants and Tibetan meals in the surrounding alleys. The young lady at the front desk and the younger brother are very good. The blood oxygen and mineral water are responded to in time. When the airport express arrives, the car is also arranged to pick up quickly; Breakfast is simple and there are some, the category has not changed ~ highly recommended view twin room, sufficient space, can overlook the cloth palace, the room window is a compound, quiet and green plants, very nice!"

"The front desk was very welcoming. Sweet tea was served upon entering the door. The ******* brother introduced the hotel enthusiastically and helped to take the luggage to the room. There is a terrace on the top floor, where you can see the Potala Palace, but you can only see it from a distance, not very close. The atrium is very large and suitable for taking pictures. It is very close to the Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street, and there are a few small restaurants in front of the door."

"The clothes were not washed for a few days on business trip. Fortunately, there is a self-service washing machine in this hotel for 24 hours. I took a cup of cappuccino coffee at the front desk in the morning. The humidifier in the room is just right. The underground parking lot is spacious and friendly to people like me who can’t park. The front desk is a sister and brought a few more bottles of mineral water to me. A small gift 💝 I feel very human after staying here for a few days."

"Breakfast was decent. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, but the male staff member was a bit lacking. They brought complimentary fruit and snacks every day. One day, the oxygen diffuser in the room wasn't working, but it was fixed quickly. Overall, it's worth staying here."

Atour Hotel (Lhasa Wanda Plaza Municipal Government Branch)

"Atour has always been my go-to hotel brand when traveling. It's clean, hygienic, and warm (which is so important!) - the room had everything I needed, and it was the best night's sleep I had in Tibet. So comfortable!"

Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel Hotels in Lhasa

Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel

"Pros: First time visiting Lhasa, and the room facilities are brand new. The diffused oxygen system is a great touch, and the view is absolutely fantastic – you can gaze at the Potala Palace right from your bed. The parking lot is huge, and you can access Barkhor Street directly from the back door by just swiping your room key. Areas for improvement: The WeChat contact for the butler service, which comes with the room key, was very slow to respond after I added them. It might be handled by the front desk, but if they want to promote a butler service, I’d suggest having dedicated staff for it."

Jiangsu Guyi Hotel (Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street)

"Oh my God, this place is so great!! Everyone is coming to live! The first one is the boss: both bosses are particularly enthusiastic, and will explain to you the precautions for coming to the plateau as soon as they arrive; They know everything about food and what is worth playing nearby. If they have any special questions about the scenic spot (such as can you see the equivalents without swiping the gold at the Jokhang Temple, you can), they can answer them. And as a speech dumpling, I also talked to the boss about the travel insight, the boss can reply very patiently, there is talk and laugh. I think there is no need to check their little red books hahahahahahaha The second is the location: you can walk to the Jokhang Temple in 5 minutes, and then you can walk to the Potala Palace in10-15 minutes. There is also a night market next to it at night, you can buy a lot of super cheap fruits, and there is a formal good Tibetan breakfast and tea shop next to it; you can also go to the Jokhang Temple to see the pilgrimage and experience the local humanities. Finally, the room itself: really, the aesthetics are completely poked. The price/performance ratio has nothing to say, too much; the cleaning is also very clean every day, the diffuse oxygen makes me sleep very comfortable, and when the 4th floor can be free, I watch the Potala Palace and sit. I am so grateful to this famous hotel and the boss, so that I can have such a good experience when I first come to Lhasa."

"Have Lhasa hotel prices gone down? The hotel we stayed at was really affordable. Even though it's not on a main street and parking is tight with limited spots, we felt very comfortable and safe. During the day, we'd go sightseeing; bus route 24 right outside takes you directly to Zaki Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. The owners are friendly, always giving us an extra one or two bottles of water in addition to the standard two. They also have a great driver who helped us park perfectly. We stayed for three days, and it's quite close to Jokhang Temple Square."

"The hotel's environment and facilities are great, with 24-hour oxygen supply and nasal oxygen available. Breakfast is good. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Barkhor Street, which is a bit far on foot. Also, there's one staff member who frequently forgets tasks and needs more training. However, overall, the Orange Hotel is excellent and I highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel is very close to Jokhang Temple, just a few minutes' walk away. The service was also great, the owner was very welcoming and even offered us oxygen proactively. The only downside is that after getting off the taxi on the main road, there's still a bit of a walk to reach the hotel."

"Nice hotel! The security guard is very good, and he also helps with luggage. There is flower tea and Hada at the door, very warm! The room is also good, there is a humidifier, hot water is sufficient, the mattress is comfortable to sleep, the breakfast buffet, the rice noodles are delicious! I have been living in Lhasa, it is recommended!"

"Traveling solo but leading a group, I booked two standard twin rooms and one king room. Our stay at the Lhasa Chunqiu Fuyuan Oxygen Hotel was completely comfortable, alleviating all concerns about staying at high altitude. Each room was thoughtfully equipped. The twin rooms had generously sized single beds, ensuring a comfortable sleep without feeling cramped. The king room's mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. Every room features an independent oxygen supply system with adjustable oxygen concentration, and there were even nasal oxygen tubes readily available in the drawer, a truly considerate detail perfectly suited for high-altitude stays. The rooms were brightly lit with excellent natural light, and the wooden furniture felt high-quality. There was no dust in the corners, and the sheets and duvet covers were clean and odor-free, with quality toiletries provided. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. When a companion felt a bit dizzy late at night, the staff immediately brought glucose drinks, offering warm and prompt service. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options, making it convenient for taxis and meals. The hotel also provides free parking and luggage storage. With different room types, our group could stay without disturbing each other, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring our rest was completely uninterrupted. From the hardware facilities to the personal service, everything showed great care. This hotel is a hidden gem for accommodation in Lhasa."

"I stayed at their house when I came to Tibet for the first time in 2021. I came back here after four years. I really didn't want to leave, but the price has also increased compared to before. The location is really convenient whether you go to the Potala Palace or Barkhor Street. This may be the last time I see their dog grandma. I don't know when I will come to Tibet next time. It may be a few years later or ten years later, but I will always miss the time in Pingcuo Kangsang! Figure 5 is the dog grandma taken in 2021👵"

"This hotel is absolutely stunning, with a rich ******* style that makes every photo-op a winner. Seeing so many international guests here shows how popular it is with tourists from all over the world. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and great communicators; they resolve issues quickly and even help guests pick out ******* clothing and enthusiastically assist with photos. If you book a day in advance, the hotel provides a private car service to major attractions, which is super convenient. On the second floor, there are complimentary massage chairs – perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing! And I have to mention the breakfast: *******, Western, and Chinese dishes, plus a great selection of fruits. It’s incredibly diverse, with handsome chefs freshly preparing ******* noodles, Chongqing noodles, pho, and rice vermicelli, catering to all tastes. "We stayed in the courtyard family room at the Atour Hotel Lhasa Potala Palace. The room layout was spacious enough for a family, though the only minor drawback was that it faced the hotel's inner courtyard, so there was no street view and less natural light, making the room a bit dim. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the old city. You can walk to the Potala Palace Square, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street in just 5-8 minutes. After a day of sightseeing, it was lovely to stroll back to the hotel without the hassle of constantly taking taxis, which made exploring Lhasa with children incredibly convenient. The room also had oxygen equipment to help with altitude sickness. Overall, our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it for families. If natural light is a priority for you, consider booking a street-view room instead."

"The overall experience of staying at this hotel for the first time was very good. The check-in efficiency at the front desk was high and there was no queue. The room was clean and warm. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom hot water was sufficient. The details were in place to relax. The room was very clean. The more distinctive thing is that there is a free Tibetan service experience on the roof. You can also see the Potala Palace directly, there are very, very good seats. The front desk is also very talkative, the equipment and facilities are very new, and passengers who come to Lhasa are worth recommending."

"The facilities are excellent and well-equipped. They provide a 24-hour diffuse oxygen supply service, complete with nasal cannulas, which is incredibly helpful and often essential in a high-altitude location like Tibet.
