Located in the heart of Beirut, the iconic InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and is just a short drive from the airport. Steps away lie Zaitunay Bay and the Corniche promenade, while the Downtown district is within short walking distance, and cultural and shopping hotspots are minutes away by taxi. Along with its exceptional location, the hotel boasts amenities, including a spa, multiple dining options, and versatile event spaces.

"The hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is very central. However the indoor pool in the spa was being emptied in the middle of the day when we tried to use it. Service around the outdoor pool was bit slack for the prices you are paying. However the biggest problem was parking. Felt like we were being taken on a ride, we were told that a full day parking was $25 which we paid, despite the fact that is a really extortinate price for the area, however at the end of our stay we were told that the $25 covers 8 hours only so we were charged twice and extra $9 for an additional three hours stay. So in total we paid $59 for around 20hours of parking which sounds extreme, not to mention the rude way we’re asked to pay. It was the experience I was hoping for, I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame because it is such a historical and beautiful hotel."

The hotel’s all-day restaurants serve a variety of local and international dishes. Buffet breakfast is served at Vivaldi restaurant. Our banquets and conferences are natural daylight, equipped and can welcome up to 600 guests.

"Adding a few more points to my previous review. On the morning of my departure, after breakfast, a lady from the restaurant asked me to fill out a survey. I rated the food variety a 7, indicating I wasn't fully satisfied. She then prompted me to specify what I'd like to eat, so I wrote down fried rice and fried noodles. She mentioned that they could actually inform the kitchen to prepare it fresh for me. This genuinely impressed me; the service here is truly exceptional. What a shame it would have to be for a future visit! One more tip: In Lebanon, there's generally no need to exchange for Lebanese Pounds. Almost all establishments accept US dollars, and often at a more favorable exchange rate than dedicated currency exchange booths. One peculiar observation: when using Uber in Lebanon, drivers frequently demand an additional fee on top of the app's quoted price. I've sometimes refused and opted to re-book or find another ride, but there are instances when finding a taxi is difficult, and I've had to reluctantly agree to the surcharge."
