Barabas Lucerne
"Great hospitality, good location near the train station and also easy to find. The room is nice and clean."
Capsule Hotel - Lucerne Old Town
"Totally recommend it. The amenities are great, everything is cleaned regularly and its location is great. The capsules are what you need and it feels really safe since there is a code for the room of the capsules and another code for the capsule itself. The check in was smooth and the staff is really professional as well. Moreover, I would like to add that my passport was stolen and although originally I couldn’t obtain a refund, they decided to help me and change the dates so I could stay in the hostel. Lovely staff and lovely place. It was my first time in a hostel and I loved it"
Ibis Styles Luzern City
"Great central hotel close to lake Lucerne. Great breakfast in the morning (until 11am on weekend and 10am midweek). Breakfast was cereal, yoghurt, sausage, bacon, bread, pastries, toast, meats, cheeses, fruit, eggs etc. Lots of selection and all lovely. The lady on the reception desk was lovely and very helpful (think her name was jasmine). Reception area great with a vending machine for anything needed. Only let down was the actual room. Very worn and a very tired room. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was lovely but unfortunately we wouldn't return as the hotel room was very worn and tired."
Hotel Seeburg Luzern
"The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and offers free bus passes for guests. The front desk staff were friendly, and although my room didn’t have air conditioning, a fan was provided. With the current weather, it was still comfortable without AC, and to be fair, the website did mention this in the room amenities. However, I felt the price I paid was a little high for what was offered."
Luzern Youth Hostel
"Nice simple hostel..worth the price but far from central"
Cascada Boutique Hotel
"Right in the heart of Lucerne! Also, the staff is amazing and that's one of the best hotel showers I've ever been in! Can't take that for granted."
Hotel Beau Séjour Lucerne
"The location is great, but it's not very convenient if you're driving and have luggage. The hotel doesn't have parking; you have to go to the front desk to check in and get a parking voucher. I made a mistake and went to the casino parking lot, then drove out immediately and still had to pay 4 euros. Ouch. Everything else was fine. The hotel restaurant was nice, and the scenery was beautiful."
Hotel Rothaus Luzern
"Noticed that tourist tax (Kurtaxe) was different from trip application ( Trip shows 7CHF for both but hotel charged CHF 8.20 for both)."
Hotel Alpha
"Very value for money, hearty breakfast"

The Hotel Lucerne, Autograph Collection
"A mixed bag of thoughts on this hotel so I’ll break it out by category: Location: 5 stars. Hotel is located in a spot that can’t be beat to visit Lucerne. Easily accessible during the day to come back and freshen up and on a quieter side street with many restaurants that feel more for locals than tourists. Loved the location and also very easy walk from train station and to old town. Like less than half a mile. Staff: 5 stars also for the staff who were very friendly and eager to help. Hotel amenities and common spaces: 2 stars. The hotel is a sister property of a renaissance down the street so the gym available is the gym in the renaissance. However, i think an autograph collection needs its own on site fitness situation. Additionally the lobby is nearly nonexistent with just 2 couches. Hallways are very brutalist style feeling with red walls. On site dining/bar: 2 stars. The breakfast was lovely and the staff there were very friendly. No complaints on breakfast. However the lounge/ bar as heavily advertised by Marriott for this site are kind of a fake out. The bar is always empty because it does not allow people who are not hotel guests to visit although it is beautiful and enticing from the outside and draws people in only to be told it’s only for guests. However if you’re a guest it feels awkward to go to the bar because the front desk staff have to make the drinks. There is no bartender and it is not a welcoming area. Room: 3 stars. We got a suite upgrade (we were happy they honored our Marriott titanium status and did this) but the suite was not a suite at all. It was just a larger room (normal sized for American standards.) It had a larger bathroom that included a tub but there was no separate seating area. Otherwise room was clean and maintained with ample storage and a refrigerator and coffee."
Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
"Perfect stay in Lucerne. Amazing everything"
Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern
"The room and service are very good, have a wonderful holiday"
Grand Hotel National Luzern
"We booked twin deluxe lake view room, never regret it. Beautiful room Best service Luxury Hotel Love everything"
Château Gütsch
"I was disappointed with the room I allegedly booked as Duplex. It was not the castle accommodation as I had hoped to experience. I like to warn others not to book these rooms which are like a chamber maid’s rooms no. 50-54. I had to go through the function room to get to my room which is along a corridor apparently for the maids’ quarters in the olden days. 😟 Furthermore these rooms windows facing the courtyard, extremely noisy when there is a party till 11 pm. I spend almost €400 per night for a horrible castle experience stay."
HERMITAGE Lake Lucerne - Beach Club & Lifestyle Hotel
"Facilities: Very new Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Absolutely beautiful Service: Excellent Food: Delicious 😋"
Hotel Luzernerhof
"I am writing to formally escalate a serious complaint regarding my recent booking at Hotel Luzernerhof, Alpenstrasse 3, Lucerne, Switzerland, made through Trip.com. The conditions and service experienced were unacceptable, unsafe, and fundamentally misrepresented. The hotel has only one lift, which was completely out of service during my stay. Despite this, I was assigned a room on floor level 6. I was forced to carry my luggage up and down six floors without any assistance, as there was no bellboy or staff support available. This situation poses a clear accessibility and safety concern and should never occur in a hotel listed on a major international platform. In addition, the corridors and walking areas were extremely poorly lit, creating an unsettling and unsafe environment. The overall condition of the hotel was neglected and did not meet basic hospitality or safety expectations. Most concerning was the attitude of the front desk staff. There was no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to provide a solution or alternative. The staff behaved as though these failures were normal and acceptable. This experience constitutes: Misrepresentation of hotel facilities Failure to provide essential services Serious accessibility and safety issues Complete lack of service recovery"
Ibis Budget Hotel Luzern City
"Small but nice hotel. Very near to the bus station. The breakfast was superb"
Hotel Thorenberg
"The room was noisy and couldn't sleep"
AMERON Luzern Hotel Flora
"The hotel was excellent. One point to improve would be the water pressure and stability of water temperature for bath."
Waldstaetterhof Swiss Quality Hotel Lucerne
"Nice hotel in the heart of the city. Friendly staff."
Hotel Drei Könige Luzern
"Location was good. The room were surprisingly huge. What I love the most was the window view that shows the road cross junction. Overall I had a great stay there. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really awesome. I deducted a star for the cleanliness, as in the toilet bin there was a sanitary bag with a pantis in it. It was really not a good experience to see this in such a nice hotel."
Hotel Alpina Luzern
"Close enough to the train station, at one of the exits. Checking in and out was a bit tricky as staff needed us to check in/out via hotel monopol. Fruits at the entrance were complimentary and at plus. Decent enough stay for the price at Lucern!"
Hotel Monopol Luzern
"Note that the hotel’s facade is under renovation however the location can’t be more perfect right across from Luzern bahnhof with eateries and supermarkets inside the station. Rooms are dated but clean and it’s large for Swiss standards. Did not have breakfast as I booked the suite with kitchen. In short it’s a good choice for a night’s stay easy in and out of Lucerne. Chapel bridge and town town is 5-10 mins easy walk from the hotel."
