"This is an absolutely fabulous little BnB. Located in the little village of Torca, in Massa Lubrense (near Sant'Agata) its super easy to get from here to any of the neighbouring towns in the Amalfi coast - half an hour to Sorrento, Positano and Nerano! The owner. Giuseppe, is so helpful and will go out of his way to plan a lovely itinerary for you so you can see all the sights. The rooms and huge, new and so clean, and the beds are so comfortable. The showers are amazing, with side jets and a rainfall shower too! And the breakfast that's whipped up in the morning is a total delight. I highly, highly recommend this as a base for anyone considering a trip to the Amalfi coast."

"Comfortable room with great views /air con across the sea and a balcony. Breakfast was good with great selection and option of cook to order eggs/pancakes. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Restaurant food ( roof top) was very good but expensive. Location was very quiet as start of season, and Ferry only goes to Amalfi and Positano at fixed times, so for more options will need to either drive or hire private boat or driver. We were quoted 500-800 euros. This may improve later in season ? Very clean throughout. let down by :- Poor quality linen and towels. Poor quality toiletries - sachets of shampoo/body wash. No conditioner or body lotion, cheap toilet paper that needed replacing every day. For a 4 star hotel expect much better. Shower leaked and requires a refurb. old fashioned cubicle with ill fitting door/seals. Had to pay to access roof top pool /bar/restaurant = 20 Euro PP - credit given against expenditure in bar. Pool was more like a shallow plunge pool, not a swim pool- 3 ft max. 75 Euro PP for 2 hour access to Spa area. Car parking Advertised 20 Euro per night but charged 30 as the hire car was a Cupra ?? Sound proofing between rooms needs improving. We had to turn up TV to avoid listening to couple next door every night. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with a pebble beach and a swim in the sea with some very good restaurants then this is the place to be, just find another hotel that provides value for money."

"My family and I rented the entire Oasi Olympia Villa for the week and it was the BEST decision ever made. With a sprawling estate of 11 bedrooms, pool, sauna, restaurant on site and a tent dedicated to events and ceremonies makes the perfect designation wedding or place to hangout and relax. Located in Massa Lubrense on the Sorrento Peninsula, makes the perfect location to see the Mediterranean Sea from all areas of the property. Very quick walk to the small town of sant agata for lunch or dinner. My Partner and I decided to have a small destination wedding of 22 people at the villa was the most magical experience imagined. From the grounds to the friendly staff, everything was exceptional. The onsite chef was hands down the best food we had during our vacation. With an expansive ceremony dinner menu or just eating at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner, you will always leave satisfied, but wanting more food since it was so delicious! A thousand thanks go to the staff Josie and Giovanni for helping planning our stay and ceremony. Their service was exceptional and a review can never truly explain how grateful we were. There passion and knowledge for the villa and the local towns goes father than imagined. Every step of the way the details were reviewed and taken care of. I could not thank them enough for how wonderful they were. We are already planning our next trip and will at this villa again. Thank you so much for the best experience of a lifetime!!"

"My wife and I just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful hotel. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with just eight rooms set in a town of 4,000 residents, away from the high activity of nearby areas but close enough to access those by taxi. The garden and pool area are quiet, tranquil and wonderfully manicured. While their we also dined at their Michelin starred restaurant. If you want five star treatment while also feeling like you are visiting family this is the place for you. From the moment we arrived the care and warmth received was remarkable. They truly want you to relax and enjoy your holiday (as an example, after checking us in they suggested we relax by the pool rather than walk the town). Moreover, they want to attend to anything you might need, whether it be a drink, a dinner recommendation or a taxi. The accommodations and grounds are what you would expect from a five star resort: spacious, classy, comfortable, well appointed, and luxurious. There is no detail missed. What far exceeded our expectations was the service received from the employees and family (who spend time living at the property and seem ever present). Every single employee we encountered was a true professional who showed immense pride, enthusiasm and detail in providing hospitality and service. You will see the same faces over you stay and will grow accustomed to their warm greetings, which feel like the greetings of friends. From breakfast to the pool, to lunch and the front desk, you will grow accustomed to their smiling faces and helpful demeanor. As for the front desk, employees like Silvia and Guisy were excellent in every way. And Fortunato, an employee of Don Alfonso of almost 30 years, is the heartbeat of Don Alfonso and a gem in every way. He truly sees to it that every guest has an experience to remember. We dined at Don Alfonso on our last night and enjoyed their tasting menu. The creativity, flavors and presentation were fantastic. The sommelier picked the perfect wines to accompany our meal. The service didn't miss a beat. The meal lasted three hours! And of course, much of the family of Don Alfonso came to the table to make sure everything was to our liking. Our only regret is that we did not stay more than three nights. But, our experience was such that we left talking about when we would be back, which is the best endorsement we could give!"

"Simple design with a 100% clean room and 5-star service. We enjoyed a Michelin dinner at Relias Blu at a reasonable price; it was very good. Morning breakfast is excellent with a stunning sea view. I have a free parking spot, and the staff respond quickly at all times via room service and reception. The location is 22 minutes from Sorrento; a familiar driver is recommended due to hill roads, and all Italian drivers seem to be F1 experts. The infinity swimming pool isn’t very large but is perfect, with a poolside bar. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away and closes at 8pm The housekeeper keeps our room clean and repaired everything that was broken while we were out. Really appreciate it. There are only 40 guests when the house is full, making it ideal for relaxing and recharging."

Not too far away from Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi, we have found our Buen Retiro pampered by Peppe and Rosanna, owners always courteous and helpful who have restored this beautiful house in stone with a breathtaking view of Li Galli (already belonging to celebrities, among all, the Neapolitan playwright Eduardo De Filippo and the ballet star Rudolf Nureyev). Thanks to Peppe, for having organized boat trips for us to Amalfi and Positano, while recommending small local trattorias and the most beautiful beaches to experience and, last but not least, an applause to the Jams and Cakes for breakfast and Herbal Licorice to buy of the talented first lady of the house Rosanna.
