"When booking on the hotel's site, the website was at one point a few minutes 5-6 later, no longer accessible. Called hotel with question. Hotel said I could book online. So logged in again and the price for our room was €20 more expensive in one go! I sent a printout of the price v few minutes earlier but answer was : Price can change every day. My experience; Hotel quickly adjusts prices if they see/notice someone is searching on a certain date! Very bad experience in line with other bad reviews."

"The apartment is in a wonderful location with excellent sea views and large rooms. A car is definitely needed. Unfortunately the dishwasher broke during our stay. The landlady wasn't very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped."

"This is a special hotel. It has been run by the same family for many years and has a delightful and friendly atmosphere which is shared by all the staff who could not be more pleasant and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and well and elegantly designed. There is an excellent swimming pool. The food is quite outstanding and served in a peaceful garden space. We also spent a morning having a fascinating cooking lesson from the head chef who is also one of the owning family. It provided a good and tranquil base for exploring the Ligurian coast - east to the Cinque Terra and west to Santa Margherita - by the railway only a short walk from the hotel. We could not recommend this hotel more highly."

"Absolutely fabulous hotel, so Italy. We came for two nights and wished we'd stayed for 5. The hotel is so quaint, with lovely decor throughout the reception, bar and restaurant. The service is exceptional and a special mention to our host Andrea who organised to pick us up from the train station, but his attentiveness and service was superb. Our room was big enough with a decent ensuite and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was included and it was marvelous. . The restaurant offers lunch and dinner also and the food is absolutely superb, best pasta I have ever eaten Drinks were also very reasonable. This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. We absolutely loved it and so wished we'd stayed longer and given the chance would absolutely stay again."
