"Dear all, it was our first time in Thalasia. We decided to stay in this hotel over Christmas 2025 even though we have our own place in Murcia region. This Hotel and Spa most probably the best on the whole coast. Being Nothern citizens we really needed a good well run Spa. Thalasia was the best choice. RECEPTION: Very friendly ladies, nothing was a problem, replaced everything in the room that didn’t work. The ladies spoke very good English and always there to help. Quick Check-in always prompt despite the fact that it was a very busy time of Christmas. Hotel was full. ROOMS: comfortable huge beds. My son loved it. Everything that we needed especially the fridge (!) so we could store our shopping from Mercadona for evenings. We only booked breakfast. CLEAN - super cleaning ladies especially the lady who cleaned our room - spoke Russian (in case no English - that was a bonus ) and was keen to clean even when we didn’t need to as most days we were out . enjoying Winter sun. She offered towels, dressesing gowns daily. Thank you. WARM : weather was unusually cold this Winter 2025. The rooms were amazing with warm floor all day! We appreciated it when returned to our cold house. FOOD: we had Breakfast booked. It was Buffet choice. We LOVE Spanish food so we all were happy! Truly healthy amazing choice. Lots for the fussy kids! CHRISTMAS: We even joined Christmas dinner for extra price with our friends. The arrival was a bit messy- Dining hall staff couldn’t find our payments though we paid a Day before at the reception. May be due to such business there were queues and delays but overall such great Buffet, Drinks, Families, Fun and Love. Every day Kitchen staff worked so hard. Finally SPA/ Pool. Thalasia is a HEALTH hotel. I personally loved salt/ minerals pools where you could float and chill in high density salty liquid:) Parents (!) Please bare in mind its not an Aqua park. Some kids didn’t like it because they could not jump, play, scream as usual. Saulty water if gets to the eyes will hurt. There 3 pools, lots of bubbly jacuzzi ( kids not allowed for a reason) , 4 strong waterfalls that I treated my back. The Pools were absolutely PACKED every day with guests and locals but somehow we all managed to swim, float, move around and use all the facilities. For me personally it was a great experience to spend Christmas surrounded by Spanish families just like us and all we could see smiles, caring, fun people. Pool GUARDS were very polite and didn’t us tell off badly ( like in some pools) They really cared and told us where we or kids can or cannot go. One guard gave us 1 euro for the Locker when no one told us we needed to have one. As a guest you just go to the Spa in dressing gown. Thank you young man. Spa Staff was super amazing working so hard over Christmas and answering million questions. LOBBY: beautiful Christmas tree, chilling area! Everyone was welcome. We invited lots of friends of us who live locally to come exchange Christmas presents. So all the kids had fun in the lobby. HEALTH: special mineral - salty pools did help. I work at school . I felt much much better from fresh air, walks in San Pedro, eating good food and fixing my back problems in Spa. Grasia Thalasia. We will be back!!!!"

"The hotel is basic. The receptionist gave us the minimum of information about the facilities. You pay extra for towels and bath robes. The restaurant is not worth a visit, poor food choices. You can order a bottle of wine but not a glass with your dinner. As for the swimming pools, it’s a definite no go. Dirty , noisy and certainly not a relaxing experience. Had a drink in the Salon, service was good but the toilets were filthy. This experience is for the older generation 65++ . Not for young couples, keep away. There is nicer elsewhere."

"My review is not about the Hotel it's about the facilities i.e the pool I decided to treat myself for a relaxed swim & lunch. On entering I was greeted by a very surely woman I greeted her & said in Spanish good morning I was grunted at. Not asked if I had a swim cap fotunetley I had ok missed sales opportunity. I got ready to go into the pool however I struggled with the locker which clearly wasn't working so after trying a couple of them bingo I was abley to put my bag & clothes away. Ready for a swim oh dear one of the pools was out of order no mention of that as I entered hey ho make the best of It I thought in the pool I got and was enjoying a leisurely swim this was at 10.15 enjoying the pool it started to busy up around 10.45 I thought ok not to bad however by 11.45 you were packed in like sardines I actually felt it wasn't safe the jaquizi was full to bursting I thought ok I will retire to my sunbed. That's was my biggest disaster people were actually smoking I thought this is crazy I suffer from asthma so for me I had to leave the sunbed I wanted to relax on it want just 1 person smoking there was at least 5 that I counted. Ok now lunch I sat at the table waiting & waiting oh dear I went into the restaurant itself were two ladies were in conversation I had to disturb then eventually got the attention and was able to order food no sooner had my food arrived I thought oh no not again there were people vaping & smoking I was so disappointed I was so looking forward to a lovely morning & lunch out. As I am an asthmatic I had to leave got to my car thank goodness I had my ventolin I felt quite poorly got home and I was breathless my breathing was dreadful I had to go to the pharmacy in pinoso. So much for a relaxing day out in what I thought was going to be a healthy day out for me. I have tried to email the hotel without success I am 💯 % very disappointed 😞😞😞"

"Unhelpful reception staff, unwilling to actually provide a Spa service without prior notice. It's supposed to be a Spa Hotel and yet we were given misleading information deliberately preventing us from using the facilities. Very poor breakfast, literally bought from the supermarket down the road. They didn't provide items as promised on their website, free water, Turkish bath etc and generally were dismissive of us. You couldn't pay me to go back."
