The location is relatively close to the airport. The breakfast restaurant has a nice view of the airport and Manhattan. The breakfast quality is also good. The air conditioner in the room is very noisy. The service is very average. I ordered a sofa bed, but no bedding was prepared. I asked the waiter to deliver it, but only a quilt core, a bed sheet, and a pillow were delivered. I asked for a quilt cover or an extra bed sheet to cover the quilt, and a fitted sheet was delivered. 😓😓

Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel is about a 4-5 minute walk from the New York Line 4 subway station, and it takes 30 minutes to go to the Metropolitan Museum. The three of us booked a one-bedroom suite. The room is not small, and there is plenty of space to put suitcases. The bed is about 2 meters long. It can sleep three people without any problem. The bathroom is clean and tidy. There are not many breakfast varieties but they are basically delicious. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective. I will choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity to come to New York again. of!

While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

I just stayed at the Motto in Times Square for the weekend, and had a great experience. First, let me say that I was born and raised in NYC (I live about 30 miles north of NYC now), so I know the NYC area very well, and it was such a joy to experience the city as a ”tourist” for the weekend. The hotel is in a great location near Times Square, where access to public transportation is very easy, as well as to restaurants, and Broadway shows. The hotel is very efficient and modern. The rooms are cozy, and very comfortable. The service is excellent, and the breakfast menu is delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Motto in Times Square.

Great location and nice prices. Wonderful view from the top floors. The walls are not thick enough to block your noisy neighbors though.

The room is a suite with one bedroom and one living room. Although the suites are not very large, they have all the facilities. It is worth mentioning that the sofa has a built-in folding bed, and the bedroom has a door, so that 3 to 4 people can stay without being disturbed; The hotel includes breakfast; the ferry is 100 meters away from the door, and it is very convenient to go to downtown Manhattan.

The location of the hotel is convenient for entry and exit. The front desk staff has a good attitude. The hotel environment is good and breakfast is included. Coffee is available 24 hours a day on the first floor. The room is not large and the sound insulation is average. In the middle of the night, the sound of water and sounds outside the corridor can be heard.
