The owner of the hotel personally received it, shared the story of the ancient city of Shiping for me, recommended the play route in detail, and even accompanied me, a lonely traveler, drinking tea and chatting, and conveying that precious ”human temperature”. SsunsunbridgeThe inn is right next to the scenic spots of Shiping Railway Station in the ancient city. It has its own parking location and is convenient to go everywhere. The decoration of the inn is the same size as the house introduced by the website. It is very clean. The small courtyard that I saw on the Internet is really emotional. It is very suitable for relaxing in a daze and communicating with friends.
The boss is really an ancient town publicity officer. When you have time, you can make tea and introduce the history of the ancient town. The customs and customs of the local area are. It is really good to try it. We feel that this trip to Shiping is the best

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is excellent. It consists of two buildings, both conveniently located next to Shiping Wenyuan (Shiping Cultural Park), with easy and free parking. The guesthouse is small and comfortable with relatively new facilities. The 23rd-floor room offers direct views of the scenic area.
The hotel has excellent soundproofing; it's quiet outside even with the windows open. There's an antique market downstairs every few days, but even during market days, it's still very quiet with the windows open—not even car horns. This is probably because Shiping itself is a relatively quiet ancient city.
We originally planned to stay only one day, but decided to extend our stay after just two hours. We ended up staying for two more days. Chatting with the owner, we learned it was their first time running a guesthouse, and their dedication was evident from the moment we checked in.
This was one of our best guesthouse experiences during our four-month trip, and we especially loved it. The owner was very kind and attentive. The guesthouse is fully equipped, with a kitchen with all the necessary condiments, a washer and dryer, and towels (not disposable). It was fantastic! We highly recommend it.

There is a garage (open though) to park cars or bikes.

GGuest UserThe rooms are completely designed according to the new hotel standards. They are all intelligent and convenient to use. The rooms are bright and clean. The bedding is very comfortable. The service is warm and thoughtful. The hot water is easy to use and the bath is very comfortable.

BBG1HYYWhen driving to Shiping Ancient Town, there's free parking available. The hotel room faces the Yunnan Meter-Gauge Shiping Station, offering a nice environment and good cleanliness. The front desk service was excellent. There are many delicious food options within the ancient town, and visiting the Laihe Pavilion and Confucius Temple is also very interesting. I originally booked for two nights but had to check out early due to unforeseen circumstances.
Here are some downsides:
① There's no breakfast, and if you wake up early, there are no places to eat nearby (Yunnan locals tend to wake up late).
② The electrical outlets in the room are older flat-pin types, which can't accommodate modern safe small appliances like two-pin cylindrical razors, massage guns, or water flossers.

You can see the scenery of Shiping County outside the window. I especially like to sit in this bay window to bask in the sun and see the flowing clouds. The room sound control is not very sensitive. There are many dining options around and the night is very quiet. In addition, it is a pet-friendly hotel. Very good stay experience.
