This hotel far exceeded my expectations! I once stayed at a highly-rated hotel in Cologne that cost twice as much, and while it had a more artistic decor, the amenities were actually quite similar. The room here was larger than I expected, with a coat rack, a desk, two round stools, and an adjustable TV mount. There's enough space for one suitcase, though two might be a bit of a squeeze. Getting around by train and bus is very convenient, and it's less than a twenty-minute walk to the Old Town. The design is well-thought-out and clever, and the cleanliness is exceptional. The bathroom is quite small, but manageable unless you're very large; the shower door opens completely, which helps. Most of the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, like many German hotels, there's nothing in the room, so having to ask for hot water repeatedly can be a bit tiresome for introverts. Still, the staff were always very accommodating. My only suggestion would be for extra pillows; there were only two on the bed, and I was told there were no spares when I asked for an extra. It would be great if they had some reserves for guests.

The Hotel was very nice. Nice big rooms,great shower,nice staff and decent breakfast. The rooms could really do with a fridge,as they don't have a restaurant and if you bought a salad our sandwiches you had know where to keep them cool. Also, if 2 people staying in a room,more coffee and milk is required. You can ask reception for extra coffee and milk,but be better if they can at least give you 4 coffee instead of 2

The hotel is in a very good location, next to the cathedral and the commercial street. A family of three (12-year-old child) checked in but no extra bed was provided, so we could only book two rooms. This was incomprehensible. My husband stayed in the room because of his injured foot. We were asked to check out three times before 12 o'clock. The cleaner also ignored the people in the room and started cleaning on his own. It felt like we were being kicked out. I hope they can be more humane in the future.

The location is still quite good. You can walk or take the bus quickly from the train station. Opposite the Opera Theatre Theatre Post Office, there is dm nearby, and there is a supermarket and Media markt selling electronic products. There are several bars on this side of the hotel. It is also very convenient to go to church or pedestrian street or bushof from here. The room was a bit small, but enough, enough to enlarge the suitcase and clothes. Clean and clean. The bar downstairs is very large and the price of a cup of tea is OK. I hope the hotel will continue to stay here next time I return to AC.

It's close to Aachen Central Station, so it's very accessible! It's also very clean and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it!

We found this small hostel to have a very convenient location—it is an easy walk from the train station. We made a mistake by booking a room without an en-suite bathroom. Even though the shared bathroom wasn't too crowded, we would definitely recommend booking a room with a private bathroom for a more comfortable experience. One nice feature we unfortunately only discovered right as we were checking out is the balcony! You can open the window, sit outside, and enjoy the view, which would be lovely. However, be warned if you are visiting in the summer: the room does not have air conditioning and it gets super hot. This was a major disadvantage for us as foreigners who aren't quite used to that kind of indoor heat. Overall, a decent location, but definitely keep the AC and bathroom situation in mind when booking!

A good, high-quality chain hotel. The room was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were very pleasant. But after 10 p.m., the code to open the front door didn't work, and the phone didn't always answer (it was 4 day). On Saturday, 1 November 2025, about eight people gathered at the hotel door (meaning I wasn't the only one with this problem). I am sure the reception passed the problem on... and then... ignored it! Please fix the problem with the code not working! People want to sleep in the accommodation they booked... not walk around all night... Good luck!

My friend and I went to the Aachen exam. It’s really super quiet around, no. A little far from the city. However, the overall room is good. Still quite worth it.

I stayed here for about three weeks. The location was great, close to the station. The nearest station was at the end of the line, so it was convenient to be able to sit wherever I went. The hotel room was very spacious, and it was cleaned nicely on the first day. However, from the second day onwards, the drains were not cleaned or vacuumed, so if garbage accumulated in the drains, I had to clean it myself. Also, while inquiries were responded to promptly, there were times when towels were not changed or tissue paper was not replenished. Overall, I was satisfied considering the price. Please note that there is no refrigerator or kettle for long-term stays.
