City Lion by Semavi is an excellent place to stay in Heraklion! The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and always helpful — they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and assisted with everything we needed.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within a 2–3 minute walk. The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful experience — great service, amazing location, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Heraklion!

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier. Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

GGuest UserIt is more convenient to go to Curlesburg, the bus station, and the central square. It is almost 500 meters walk. Take the 2nd road to Knossos Palace. The hotel staff is warm and friendly, the breakfast is very rich, and it is constantly improving according to our needs. The hotel can also help contact sightseeing. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (not open on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and constantly discussed. On the day of the trip, the driver also learned that there is a temporary group on the island, so by the way, it can be opened to us, so that the journey has no regrets!

Everyday they ask you if you want your room to be cleaned and they are always available to help you. I 100% recommend it and will definitely stay again!

WWade99Capsis Astoria is a great hotel centrally located in Heraklion. The rooms are comfortable and we liked our balcony. The rooftop pool is amazing with a full service bar and plenty of different types of seating and views of the city and sea in the distance. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from the hop on hop off bus, airport bus, museum and many restaurants and bars down the alleys.

GGuest UserThe apartment is ground floor in a good spot in Heraklion. It is spacious , clean, and convenient with nice kitchen area, spacious pleasant bedroom and compact but nice shower room. The living area is spacious but the furniture is functional rather than luxury, and includes a simple sofa bed and single bed . The owner is attentive . However, although We were offered clean towels during our week stay they never turned up . Disappointing. . There is no where to hang wet towels other than on the furniture.

GGuest UserThe Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel.
The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception.
The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs.
They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is in a good environment, but the surroundings are a bit messy. It is a bit far from the old town, but it is convenient to walk there. The room facilities are good, but the bathroom is too small, especially the shower room, which is really inconvenient.

Years. Its always been a pleasant and convenient place to stay. Just one complaint though. I accidentally booked the wrong dates to stay but i managed to cancel a whole week before i was meant to stay. NO REFUND EVEN WITH A WEEKS NOTICE!
