Amazing
MMcQueen.DIANThe location is very convenient for driving, parking is easy, and there are a lot of things to eat within 10 minutes of walking out. The service staff are from different countries, and people with different languages can communicate with each other. I find it convenient. I also like the catering and accommodation. It has a great atmosphere, and you can have a full breakfast. The only thing is that the soundproofing is not very good. I live in a tatami room, but I can hear the sound of the two rooms next door. However, I haven't met a good roommate next door. It is noisy all night , makes people collapse. But I still highly recommend this accommodation! I hope everyone has a sense of justice and meets people who also have a sense of justice.
GGuest UserThis is definitely a gem in Furano, the room is incredible but it will be better with bathtub! I was given a warm welcome by the staff, her smile was just so warm that it could melt the snow and ice outside the hotel.
The hotel's onsen is fantastic according to my wife and I don't have time to visit Onsen as I spent my time with my daughter inside the kid room, very clean and spacious kid room it has.
The internet speed is also blazing fast compared to other hotels in Hokkaido (Have to work while travelling).
Looking at the price and the room I'm getting, it is really worth every single cent!
AAnonymous UserVery large space. Almost a perfect place to live in. It is very well equipped and looks new. The projector in the bedroom is amazing. Check-in is simple.
The only thing that comes to my concern over the heater. It may not be enough to raise the temperature especially under snowy weather, as the room is big.
Highly recommended.
SSam 龙Nice hotel in Furano within walking distance to the ski slope. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. The free lounge is a nice place where you can relax and chat with friends while staying at the hotel with free flow of coffee, tea and Furano wine. There is also a microwave there for you to reheat food from convenient store if you chose not to dine out. There is also an onsen on site which is very nice also.
GGuest UserIt was pouring rain when I arrived, and still drizzling the next morning, so I decided to head back to Sapporo. I had initially planned to visit the Magic Terrace. This hostel is truly excellent; it even has a kitchen, and everything was spotless. The only drawback is that there isn't much to explore in the small town itself. It seems to be located near a ski resort, but I visited in September, so that wasn't relevant to my trip.
GGuest UserPerfect location for skiers - a two minute walk across the carpark and you're at the gondola/chairlift base station. The hotel also has a bus stop outside which is helpful to get to the JR station or into town, although buses are pretty infrequent. There are some dining options nearby, and a convenience store about 10-15 min walk away. The hotel sells discounted lift tickets (which you need to exchange at the ticket booth for a real ticket).
The hotel has an eclectic older style charm. The ”owl” branding throughout was cute, and there's a nice lounge where non-skiers can relax with lots of reading material (most in Japanese). Free snacks and drinks each afternoon in the lobby are a nice touch. The onsite indoor and outdoor onsens are relaxing. There's a laundry with coin operated washer dryers, which is handy.
Breakfasts were decent, although some dishes were a bit sweet for our taste, and there was very little variation from day to day, which is an issue for a ski resort where guests typically stay for multiple days. Staff allocate you to a table (different each day), a system which works pretty well and avoids having to hunt for a table at busy times.
Some procedures seem a bit overcomplicated - checkin involved our name being taken, then being called 10 min later and guided through a self-checkin touchscreen system which wasn't super reliable at reading passports. Also you need to specify your breakfast time each day and then come back and get a ticket later, which seems overcomplicated - better to just let you specify a default time on checkin with the option to vary manually if desired. However staff throughout the hotel are polite and helpful.
The room we had was spacious with a view over the ski field. The bathroom was a modular unit - clean but a bit dated and with an awkward step up to get in.
Beds were made up in a rather strange way - rather than a having a fitted bottom sheet, there was a thin mat laid on top of the mattress. If you move around at all while sleeping this mat ends up a lumpy mess and you often find yourself sleeping partially on the bare mattress.
GGuest UserCompared to the crowded Prince Hotel, this place offers a quieter and more comfortable stay. The breakfast is excellent, but remember to book dinner in advance, as you can't add it after check-in. There are vending machines on every floor and a small shop for snacks and essentials. Food trucks right outside the hotel make grabbing a bite very convenient. The airport bus stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is super handy for luggage. Plus, there's a free shuttle to the ski slopes.
GGuest UserVery good place, very clean and tidy, a lot of space, enough for 6 of us to stay and eat dinner together, there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, very convenient. As long as you contact the management in advance, you can get the access code and reserve parking space.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very close to the ski resort. It should be the cheapest hotel closest to the ski resort. The hotel has hot springs, and the room rate includes breakfast and dinner. The dinner is quite deliciouswith sashimi, and the breakfast is just so-so. The hotel can clean and change towels every day. The only drawback is that the facilities are a bit old and there is no room card but a room key, so I left the key at the front desk before going skiing, which is a little inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite old but clean. There is no elevator. There is no bathroom in the bedroom, only a toilet and a sink. To take a shower, you have to go to the onsen room. There are many Japanese people using the services. It is a bit far from Furano city. It is suitable for people with cars. In fact, the location is very beautiful, surrounded by mountain views. I chose it because the price was not so expensive when I went and there are onsen rooms and many pools to soak in. The staff are very helpful, even though we did not understand each other very well. We stayed with breakfast and dinner, which were quite delicious. Dinner was served as a course. In the hotel area, there is a lavender field to admire. However, when we went, the flowers were starting to wither but still smelled good. I would like to improve the scenery. The lawn to see the lavender flowers looks a bit dirty. It is a pity about the location. Overall, it is OK.
