"We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group. Overall our experience was very poor for this expensive hotel (over ($400/night). Let me list the problems: -The room and bathroom were tiny, dated and worn. - No counter space in the bathroom. - Given the shower configuration it was impossible to not flood the entire bathroom. - The mini fridge was so warm it was useless plus no bottle opener. Few glasses. - The AC was weak at best but at least we could open the window for cool air and it was quiet (one of the few pluses). - The robe was old and worn. -Sharp broken glass edges on nightstand topper. - Service was generally brusk and unfriendly. Two pluses were good location close to many attractions and the breakfast buffet (though also over priced). And the public spaces were nice... This place has seen better days. Try the Rabat Marriott where we stayed for two nights before our tour - that is an excellent hotel not this place!"

"Room was very basic. Water didn’t get very hot. No a/c in the room. No soap or shampoo. Went down for breakfast but there was nothing I wanted. Reservation guy said they could prepare eggs for me. Ok for a night. There was a live African band in the restaurant that was very good! Had a yummy Moscow mule but didn’t eat because it was fully booked. Only the terrace was open-no band there"

"My stay was ruined by shameful management. Because of a simple date error on ***********, the receptionist (acting in good faith) assured me that the hotel would accept a free cancellation if I extended my stay directly with them. So, trusting them, I paid for two extra nights. The next day began a marathon of calls and false hopes: each department passed the buck, the operations manager and the customer relations manager promised a solution… then refused any refund, even after *********** had given its official approval. €300 gone for a night I never used, after being strung along all day. The manager didn't hesitate to threaten to have the negative reviews removed and even mentioned taking the money from the receptionist's salary—unbelievable for a 5-star Sofitel in the Accor group. Between broken promises, contradictions, and manipulation, the experience left a bitter taste of disrespect and abuse towards customers. It's simply theft. The operations manager, the reservations manager, and the customer relations manager clearly acted in bad faith. I want to emphasize that Booking did everything possible to ensure we received a refund. I won't comment on the rest, as this is quite a lengthy matter."

"The hotel is very nice, and for a riad, the setting is quite modern. Welcome refreshments were provided in the room, and the reception was very warm. The location is great, close to Kasbah of the Udayas and the old town. I was very satisfied. The only drawback is that it is a bit small and has no courtyard. The swimming pool is on the rooftop, and it doesn't have the beautiful gardens and swimming pools that you'd find in other riads in other cities, but this is my favorite hotel I found on Rabat's hotel list."

"It is a charming hotel but with very small rooms and very narrow door post which I kept running into. The location is great. You can't reach the place by car , only on foot and through a small part of the maze that is the old parts of Rabat. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace and the dinner is served on the bottom floor. Dinner need to be pre-ordered a few hours before. There are a lot of stairs to get to and from the rooms and they are quite narrow. Staff is great thou."

"Not a great experience my first time of the Four Seasons brand. All the staff were lovely however the food was the real letdown here. Expensive poor and badly seasoned. The thing to warn guest about if that the area around the hotel is being demolished so there is very little to do in the immediate vicinity. It’s a shame as I would not return"

"I spent one week here, positives, the staff are lovely and will help you as much as they can. The rooms are lovely. Negatives, we had the same breakfast every day, no menu, but if your an out sider then you get the menu. The outside pool looks lovely, first day went in there, not very good for children, there is no shallow end, best to get out by 11ish as the restaurant starts filling up with out-siders, who wants to be looked at! The hotel does not cater well for their clients, no privacy. Only 2 sun loungers! The inside pool was very cold, they do advertise a spa, it's in process, sauna and steam room. Overall I think the hotel is just a stop off for short trips and not very good for children. CM"

"I had a wonderful experience at the spa story hotel. The massage treatment was relaxing, professional, and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to Aya at reception for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. She was very helpful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"The Riad is located in a small lane walking distance to Kasbah Oudayas, a very convenient location if Rabat Medina is to be accessed. The room we were allotted in the first floor was quite big and the bathroom also had good amenities. One of the issues with Riads we faced in Morocco is that none of them have elevators. Riad L'Alcazar was the only Riad we stayed in during our Moricco trip which has a (small) escalator to help with our luggage. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was decent in spread with crepe, eggs, Moroccan bread, coffee etc. We spent 3 pleasant nights in Riad L'Alazar"

"I was staying for 2 nights in October 2022 and my comments were lost on my computer. The floor is occupied by several lounges. Beau jardin et piscine. The 3 rooms I saw were vesty and their old decoration, dark colors. They were of good size. Clean littery. The bathrooms are from the 1960s and have an indignational equipment and colors of the 21st century. The room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean. The breakfast was good, but the cold crepes were 2 times on 3."

"The riad has a great location - just one turn from the main street. Everything is at hand - a green market street where you can buy fruit, vegetables, fish and anything you like. While booking we were promised a “Luxury Double Room” but in fact it was extremely small, without any amenities. Without cabinet, without hanger - just only a number of hooks on the wall. The toilet was also very small. The room smelled like sewer - we had to open the window all the time to ventilate the room. The breakfast served at the roof terrace was tasty. The personnel was really friendly and very helpful. I can recommend this riad for its location. Just adjust your expectations to the reality - and you’ll enjoy staying in it!"
