Ibis Reading Centre
"We had the best staff at the Ibis especially the 2 girls on the front desk on Friday and Monday"
Hilton Reading
"nice property enjoyed a lot was great service and the amenities are too good customer service was amazing on a single call"
Hotel 1843 Reading
"The location was nice. However, the room and amenities are pretty old."
Novotel Reading Centre
"Novotel Reading Centre is located in the heart of Reading, with convenient access to food, accommodation, and transportation. It is a 3-minute walk to the train station and a 3-minute walk to museums, parks, monasteries, and supermarkets. The front desk service is very friendly, and the swimming pool and gym are open normally from 10:00-22:00 every day. We are responsible for cleaning our floors very seriously and clean the rooms on time every day! Everyone gathers together at the bar downstairs every night to watch the World Cup, it's very happy! Five star rating! Like it, thank you!"
Travelodge Reading Central
"Room was very clean, however very hot on warm weather, they supply fans but you can’t open windows and no air con so makes it very stuffy. Receptionists are all friendly and polite. Area is somewhat rough but good shops."
Village Hotel Reading
"Well situated right on the river, pub and resto downstairs, friendly andchelpful staff. Some doors shut rather loud, you can hear through the building."
The Roseate Reading
"Very comfy room, great facilities and fantastic service! Will be returning :)"
Sure Hotel by Best Western Reading

Easyhotel Reading
"The room was small and compact, perfect for a one- or two-night stay. It’s close to the shops, a 20-minute walk to the town centre, and just a 5-minute walk from the train station."

Wee Waif by Greene King Inns
Best Western Reading Calcot Hotel
"This BEST WESTERN is feeling its age but is all there for the occasional user. The rooms are basic but functional, the bathroom is a bit cramped but all works and the bed is comfortable and the tea making services available. It does however hit a price point that is otherwise difficult to find in the Reading area."
Crowne Plaza READING by IHG
"Excellent spa and hotel."
voco READING by IHG
"The Holiday with my spouse was fantastic and relaxing. The hotel has everything including Spa, Gym and Swimming in a very good location and it's very neat. The only problem I had was that the room I was allocated didn't have window which is the only fault and disappointment other than that the hotel is best and biggest i have ever been. Lest I forget, the room was extremely massive with lounge and two big TV's and I love it. Definitely going back and would recommend 👌."
Travelodge Reading M4 Westbound
"Not bad. Standard room, good budget option."
Premier Suites Reading
"Good location, but outdated facilities."
Malmaison Reading
"Lovely grade ll hotel building and near station and town centre."
Travelodge Reading Whitley
"Came it and just after midnight. Nasir was very welcoming and helped get a room set up in an efficient manner and was friendly throughout. The stay was good overall."
Parkside International Hotel
"The hotel' cleanliness shocking and dreadful poo down the out side. The shower temperature is on one and that is boiling f#ing hot. This hotel is in desperate need on how to make it top condition"
Travelodge Reading M4 Eastbound
"I checked in late on the evening of 10th June at around 11:00pm, and I wanted to leave a review for the gentleman working on reception. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he was genuinely one of the best Travelodge reception staff members I have ever encountered. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He even held the door open for me while I transferred my belongings from the car to my room, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long day. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help really stood out. He made me feel valued as a guest and went above and beyond to make my check in experience smooth and pleasant. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very good. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quiet it was. With the window closed, I could not hear any traffic while trying to sleep. Even with the window open, the traffic noise was very faint in the background and sounded more like a gentle flowing river than passing vehicles, which made for a surprisingly peaceful stay. My only qualm was with the heating in the room. The electric radiator did not seem to heat up properly and remained cold throughout the night. I also woke up the next morning with some phlegm on my chest, which was not ideal. As a small word of advice to future guests, it may be worth bringing some extra layers or a dressing gown, especially if you’re someone who feels the cold. I wish I had brought mine, but I did not think I would need it. However, aside from that, everything else was excellent. The outstanding service I received on reception more than made up for this issue. Travelodge is very lucky to have someone with such a genuine, gentlemanly heart representing the company. Please pass on my thanks and recognition to him. He made a lasting positive impression and deserves to be commended for the excellent service he provides."
The Bird in Hand
De Vere Wokefield Estate
"A great room for a solo traveller, a huge king size bed and all facilities. They do tend to put singles in the Wellington lodge which is a 10 minute walk to the pool facilities."
Chester House
"Generally, poor sound insulation, remote location"
Mercure Newbury West Grange Hotel
"Small room, cozy, southern countryside chain in the UK, join AC for a short stay."
Bull Inn
"Very old country hotel, but not old at all. Very unique. It is said that George Bruni's house is just behind the hotel. There is a very popular and unique bar. The room is large and clean"
