Best Western Salisbury Red Lion Hotel ★★★★
"Beautiful period property with great location and beautiful bedrooms"
Stonehenge Inn ★★★
"the location is great for visiting Stonehenge, the room is spacious, the bath water is hot enough."
The Merchants House, BW Signature Collection ★★★★
"It was a lovely place. Very clean and comfortable. Bit further from centre but still quite walkable."
Mercure Salisbury White Hart Hotel & Apartments ★★★★
"Good environment, excellent location, 3-5 minutes walk to the commercial center and the cathedral. The only drawback is that there is no elevator."
Caboose ★★★★
"The hotel is less than 200 meters from the train station. The room is very cozy. The hotel has its own restaurant. The breakfast is rich and the taste is very good. If there is a chance, I will definitely stay there again."
Salisbury North Bishopdown ★★★
"We have previously used this hotel for an overnight stay before heading to Southampton’s cruise terminals and it has been just fine. Until this time. The adjacent pub has closed down which gives the whole site a run down atmosphere. This has also resulted in the addition of an in-house restaurant (The Social) which I can only describe as utterly shambolic. It is way too small for the size of the hotel so it was massively crowded with queues at all food & drink stations with dirty dishes piled high on every available surface. There was one poor guy who was trying his best to make things work but got zero help from other staff members (management?) who made no effort too improve the chaos. If staying here! I would recommend going room only and swerving the restaurant altogether. We ate dinner at Thw Duck Inn nearby (very good) and ended up buying breakfast at a cafe later. All in all a very disappointing experience, probably our last."
The Rose & Crown Hotel ★★★★
"I spent one glorious night in their loveliest suite, and honestly I didn’t want to go home! The bath is top tier, and the suite is probably larger than my entire downstairs at home. The amenities were excellent, slippers, robes that actually fit my plus size frame, a Nespresso machine, super comfy bed. The breakfast was really good and eating looking over the river watching the swans and ducks float by was beautiful. I have some chronic health issues and the staff bent over backwards to be accommodating and generous, everyone I met was friendly and so helpful. I highly recommend, and I have already booked my next night there!! Stay for a while or like me, stay just one night as it is like a tonic."
The Riverside, WorldHotels Distinctive ★★★★
"Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed, great location by the river with an easy 15-20 minute walk into town centre. Downsides are paper thin walls (you can hear neighbours’ conversations and TV), and no lift if you prefer to be upstairs."
New Forest Lodge ★★★★
"Good."

Stonehenge Farmhouse
"I celebrated my 30th here over the weekend and it’s was absolutely brilliant! The whole set up of the farm and hostel made for a perfect day! We fed the animals, went wine tasting and even had the garden bit next to the hostel to ourselves! We’re were also fortunate enough to have a silent disco in the barn later that evening!! I’d never considered having a party/get together here before but it was amazing and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to organise something similar!! The rooms were also really clean, comfy and spacious and staying in bunk beds made it even more fun!!"
Gray Manor Hotel
"We were there for one night. Service was okay, breakfast was good, although other guests were acting as if they were deprived of any food for days and the poor staffs were struggling to replenish the trays. Other than that, all good."
MILFORD HALL SALISBURY by IHG
"Very nice in service and staffs are good to us."
Marshwood Farm B&B
"I stayed here with my brother (who was visiting from Australia) for two nights. We were both very impressed with the high standard of decor and cleanliness. It is a beautiful old building set in a restful location. Our twin room was very spacious and comfortable and well stocked with hot drinks and biscuits. The hosts, who run this working family farm were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was first rate, with a wide choice of offerings. I recommend it without any reservations. I would definitely go back if visiting this area again."
Peartree Serviced Apartments
The Great Bustard
"Don't let Google street view deceive you. This place was buzzing on the day we arrived and then transformed into a quiet country hotel at night. A comfortable stay, amazing monsoon power shower in our room, enthusiastic cheerful staff, local products and produce, at dinner a leek tart to die for, waiter/waitress service at breakfast!"
Holiday Inn SALISBURY - STONEHENGE by IHG
"The breakfast is delicious. The location is convenient after visiting Stonehenge, but the reception can provide the basic stuff for us when we check in, for example toothbrush, shaver, so that we don’t need to ask after going to the room"
Burcombe Manor
"Once again my stay at Burcombe Manor was perfect in every way. It's a lovely old house, and my bedroom was spacious and full of character, spotlessly clean and with a bed that gave me 10 hours' sleep. Breakfast was first-class, even at 7am which was when I asked for it, and the friendly welcome from Wendy and Nick was a bonus. I will certainly return."
Compasses Inn
"We come across this little gem… and wow, what an amazing place!!!! The staff were so friendly, the pub itself is very quaint and rural, the setting was perfect. The garden was fantastic, was beautiful sitting there in the sunshine. The food itself was super tasty and delicious! We will definitely be returning and recommend highly to others to visit this beautiful place! "
The Lamb Inn
King John Inn
"I had been here before & stayed for a party in the village last weekend. The room was small & poky (Atkinson), with a tiny ‘double’ bed. The whole place is in need of a deep clean. Not a great welcome & very expensive for what it was. On the up side, it is a wonderful location & the breakfast was very tasty. Certainly not worth over £200+ that we paid for the night here."
Woodfalls Inn
The Mews Cottage
Rollestone Manor B&B and Restaurant
"Good service and very good environmental hygiene"
The Pembroke Arms
"The breakfast was amazing, and I couldn't even finish it all despite eating so much English! The room was right by the street and they even provided earplugs (but it wasn't actually that noisy)!"
