"Cleanliness – 4/5 The room itself was very clean and well maintained. However, if you choose to have breakfast outdoors, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes and flies. Overall, the room cleanliness is good, just be prepared for insects in the outdoor dining area. Location – 4/5 The hotel is located slightly behind the main area, so it’s farther from popular spots and restaurants. But the upside is that it’s much quieter and more peaceful, which we appreciated. Service – 1/5 Initially, we felt the service deserved 5 stars because the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with a new kitchen staff member that changed our overall impression. When ordering breakfast, his attitude was already unfriendly. Later, while waiting for breakfast to be served, we moved outside to enjoy the sea view. He loudly shouted at us saying we could not sit side-by-side and had to sit facing each other. His tone was unnecessarily rude. There were many empty tables and we would have cooperated if he had simply explained politely — and in fact, we still complied. Because of the mosquitoes and flies outdoors, we decided to move back inside before the food arrived. He then shouted again, complaining that we kept changing seats, even though the restaurant only had two tables occupied （included us）and breakfast had not even been prepared yet. The most uncomfortable moment was when he came to ask if we were checking out that day and strongly insisted that we check out 15 minutes earlier than the 12pm-official time. We explained that we would check out on time as agreed during check-in, but he kept insisting that 15 minutes earlier “makes no difference.” When I asked if we could then check out 15 minutes later (since late check-out costs USD10 per hour), he could not answer but continued pressuring us to leave early. When we raised this to the reception (senior staff), he repeatedly came over and loudly denied everything and continued insisting it was “only 15 minutes.” This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Amenities – 3/5 Nothing particularly special, but acceptable for a budget hotel. Overall A clean and peaceful budget hotel, but the experience was unfortunately affected by one staff member’s rude behavior."

"Had a great stay! Our room faced the ocean, with Bikini Beach right below – the photo was taken from our balcony at dusk. Compared to overwater bungalows on resort islands, the beachfront rooms here offer much better value for money. I'd recommend staying in a Kaani seaview room on a local island for your stay. They arranged our excursions perfectly, all departing from the local island. For the resort island part of our trip, we just wanted to relax in an overwater villa with a private pool. The service at Kaani was excellent, though it's a shame they don't have Chinese-speaking staff; communicating via WeChat was still fine. I'm a picky eater, but the breakfast selection was abundant. I didn't get used to the other food, but I was surprised to find Chinese self-heating hotpots on the island and bought a bunch! After staying on a resort island, I really feel Kaani offers incredible value for money."

"Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Special thanks to BERLIN as he is only senior label staff who always asked feedback with friendly manner and engage to guest relation service.provided all the information needed about our stay including chekin check out process make everything smooth and easy. "We booked 4 rooms in total, and 3 of them were upgraded free of charge, which was a pleasant surprise. The jetty is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, making transfers very easy. The hotel is very new, spacious, and well-maintained. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Maafushi Island. It’s a perfect spot to relax, watch the sunset, and take in the beautiful island scenery."

"Upon arrival, the hotel staff was already waiting at the pier. Upon arrival, we were given juice and wet towels, and our luggage was delivered to our room. The hotel manager told us that it was more economical to eat in local currency on the island, and it was indeed true. Late in the evening, the manager even came to exchange our money, and the exchange rate was very favorable. Relaxing on the sofa in the hotel lobby, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a different menu every day. The breakfast latte was especially delicious. When we left, they even packed our breakfast and brought it to the pier. What a thoughtful touch."

"One of the best hotels on Maafushi Island. The hotel arranges airport transfers from Velana International Airport, complete with full assistance – luggage handling and refreshing drinks. They are accommodating with early check-ins without extra charges. The hotel has its own Bikini Beach, which is cleaned daily. A wonderful breakfast is included, depending on your booking rate."

"It was a wonderful experience staying over there. The breakfast was splendid every day. They also had all the packages for island travels and also water sports and dolphine and shark watching. The staff was very friendly. I would give a shout out to Lokesh at the front desk who helped me with each and everything. The infinity pool was insanely awsome. "This is the furthest hotel from Bikini Beach, but it's about a 5-7 minute walk. The island itself is small, about 1200 meters by 500 meters. There's only one beach (Bikini Beach). The sea is full of dead coral and rocks, so bring slippers. The water is very shallow – up to 1 meter. The island offers many excursions, restaurants with live music, and shops. The hotel staff is very friendly. For breakfast, the hotel brings you your own food (there's no buffet). We initially thought the breakfast was meager, but then we moved to another island where the hotel was twice as expensive, and compared to that, I can say the breakfast here was fantastic."
