Spa Hotels in Languedoc-Roussillon

It was the best hotel. The architecture was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and I had a very good stay. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. I was able to buy the things I had for breakfast at the bakery next to the hotel, so I took them as souvenirs. The young woman working at the hotel was very kind to me. I would definitely like to go to this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sowell Hotels Les Chevaliers. We booked a Deluxe room with a terrace and a view of the medieval fortress of Carcassonne, and we definitely did not regret it. At night, the fortress was beautifully illuminated, and the view from the terrace was absolutely stunning. The room itself was very nice. Even though it was -3°C outside, the room was warm thanks to the heating, and it felt very comfortable and cozy. Sleeping was also very comfortable. The room was quiet, and we did not hear any noise from other guests. We booked the room with breakfast. Breakfast was served as a buffet, with a good variety of food, all tasty and fresh. Everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel has a beautiful facade and is very close to the Roman arena, museums and restaurants. The breakfast is great, the interior is very new and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Most speak good English. For a 5 star hotel and the price paid, I expected the room to be larger and a bit higher spec. However the beds were really comfortable. I didn’t expect to be questioned when I asked for extra coffee for the room or for the magnifying mirror in the bathroom to be hanging off the wall. Also disappointing was the chipped coffee cup we had at breakfast, though the food was first class, plentiful and varied. It’s a shame it is difficult to access by car and that parking is some distance away but then Nîmes is an ancient city with many narrow one way streets. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend it to friends.

The breakfast is pretty good in terms of western food standards. Because there is a swimming pool, it is suitable for children who like to play with water, but not for those who like quietness. There is parking lot. The environment is good, but the rooms are pitifully small.

Hotel is located on a hill so getting up and down takes time. The facility is pretty nice despite a bit dated. The service is good and the breakfast is alright, but the view from the window was really good. We had booked a room with 4 beds but only one of the rooms had air conditioning, which is not so great.

It was a pretty pleasant experience in general. Even though we stayed only for a night, facilities are great, clean, good breakfast and the view😍, bed is comfortable, spa with sauna and that massage pool was warm and relaxing and it was only like 13 euros per person 🤩. Had dinner at M restaurant by the beach and you can rent sunbeds there or also there are other places to choose from aswell . The place is a little bit far compared to other beaches but in my opinion is what makes it more special. Even like that you can find everything you need within walking distance (supermarket, restaurants, beautiful clean beach🤩🤩😍) 10 out of 10 would recommend. I wish had more time to stay more days 😄😉

Good point. 2 minutes walk to the castle! Once I took a shower and cooled down, I was able to walk around the night light up. Great location The hospitality of the lady at the front desk was nice There's a bathtub. There was a small garden. Mitsubishi air conditioner The walls were not so thick, but the guests were quiet and able to sleep well The day I stayed was about 13,000 yen. I'm sorry. Room 31 I stayed in was almost unusable with Wi-Fi It seems that it is necessary to check in at a affiliated hotel, and other new guests (probably French) were at a loss because the hotel did not open. Be careful. The dryer is under the washbasin, but the cord is short, so I sat in the toilet seat and dried it. It was dry immediately because there was air volume (laughter)

The arrival is very chaosing, no place to park and unload the luggage, the customer parking is in the park without clear signal, finally the reception allows us to use the parking for people with reduced mobility The hotel is closer but already very busy, while the customer is very small. Because of the few customers the breakfast is made by order in the evening and is always charged at EUR 19 ! The room is correct, the bathroom is not as large as expected with a bathtub and shower and the toilet is not separate. No refrigerator and no coffee machine but a boiler with non-caffee dosages. Daily households need to be improved, especially for the toilet So not the expected level ... very disappointed. We did not have breakfast and did not have dinner at the Canope restaurant because it was closed 2 out of 3 nights when we were present.

This is a very nice cheap hotel. Calling it a resort is definitely a stretch of the imagination. Very small pool, steam room, and Sauna. Everything was clean and orderly. Limited hours in pool and steam/ sauna. It probably saves significantly on power draw, so I understand, but not guest friendly. Front desk is only open from 15:00 to 18:00. Not guest friendly. Some of the pics are actually from the resort next door. Some false advertising. Beware. The €15 room service breakfast is probably the greatest value room service I have ever seen. Well worth it. Surprising even. 10€ self laundry is too much, and after 2plus hours in the dryer I just took my wet clothes to room and hung them to dry. Additionally, you self clean much of the room or pay 100€. No wifi in rooms. It's 2024. Time to upgrade. I would absolutely go back.

All good but a little awkward location though near the airport, 20 euro taxi from Carcassone centre and 10 to airport. Small pool but nice to have it and smoking area out back too. Standard double room was fine, clean, adequate. And we got a duvet! A light one, just right for the weather at the time. Service was fine,breakfast was super. Bit stressed though at indefinite time of arrival of taxi to airport in the morning. Booked by receptionist. But altogether good and great value! 👍
