AApril CasabuenaWe were truly blown away by La Bella Casa de Boracay! It exceeded our expectations for its price—super worth it, very clean, good food and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, nag-enjoy talaga kami even my kids. Thank you so much! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Boracay and will gladly recommend it to others. 🥰🤗♥️

GGuest UserHad a great stay at Shoretime Dormitel! The staff were very friendly and approachable. After I took a shower, the hand shower suddenly fell off even though I placed it properly. I immediately reported it because I thought I might be charged, but they were very understanding and simply said they would fix it. Overall, our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. It's a bit far from White Beach, but they provide a free shuttle service, which makes getting around convenient. Great value for money, especially for budget travelers!

KKhan064I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's cozy, quiet, charming, and was the cheapest option, leaving me with only positive impressions. I will definitely be back! Pros: 1. It's exactly 400 steps or a 5-minute leisurely walk to the beach. 2. Excellent and delicious continental breakfasts. 3. Free daily massage. 4. Welcome drink upon check-in. 5. A clean, cozy hotel where it's always quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a good night's sleep. 6. A 15-minute walk to the best beach on this island – Puka Beach. 7. Only a hostel would be cheaper. This was the most affordable booking option available. Cons: 1. The shuttle to the center runs infrequently (only in the morning or evening). 2. Remote location from shops and cafes. 3. Few tourists in the immediate vicinity. It feels a bit like being in a local ghetto. I'm only deducting a point for the infrequent shuttle service to and from the center.

FFred ConcklinWe wished we could have spent our entire Boracay stay here. Really nice, professional and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious. Bed is comfortable. Aircon is good. Ample hot water in the bathroom. Water pressure was enough. There’s a big private balcony sort of area for each and every room. Building is a bit old but impeccably clean and has good vibes. Location is not beachfront but quick walk to the white beach. Not hard to find they have arrows placed in for directions. Need to climb stairs to reach some of the rooms but it’s not difficult and the stairs are wide and outside in the garden. There’s no electric kettle provided in the room but the coffee is free or hot water is given in a flask. Price performance ratio is great. We totally recommend turtle inn and would definitely be back

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved the Cool Stay Inn. The staff were so so helpful and friendly and really went out of their way to help us. We loved our room it was clean and practical. The bed was comfortable. They have a guest kitchen with fridge stove and all the facilities. You can make a cup of coffee or a meal. The Cool Stay Inn is in a great location. We walked to beautiful White Beach beautiful for swimming. Bulabog beach where we enjoyed watching lots of talented kite surfers. We caught very cheap share tricycles to Puka shell beach and Diniwid 2 other lovely beaches. We loved The Chill out bar and restaurant next door. We had most of our meals there. I great range of food also for me being a Vegan Vegetarian. A swimming pool was also available to us 2 doors up. We had such a great 4 nights in Boracay thanks to staying at the Cool Stay Inn. We had great conversations with many other travellers staying there. We cannot recommend this place enough. We are 77yo and 72yo Australians by the way.

MMikhail 220vDecent hostel. There's a shower in the dorm room, and even hot water. The only downside was that there wasn't even a window, it felt like a bunker. Good thing the beach is nearby, since that's what hostels are for – to drop your backpack and go explore!

AAgentPrincessI enjoyed my stay in Boracay Travelodge especially the warmth greetings of their staff. I have many requests especially the room cleaning and they also follow. I have only one comment on our shower, it needs to be fixed or changed because it's not giving a lot of shower. There is no wifi also on the whole building. It is best because we save a lot coz it's cheaper. There is a mini store on the lobby, free hot and cold water in a dispenser, there is a security and especially it is a walking distance to the beachfront.

RRCMARFAThe location is perfect because it is at the center of station 2. It is very near to most bars, restaurants, shops and the dmall. The aircon is really cold excellent. The shower is perfectly working like they have heater and spacious bathroom. The only thing we have noticed is it is not a very new hotel like the others. The floors and tires are old and hairs are somehow everywhere. The bidet in our room is not working and the room to the balcony is hard to open. The pool is now converted into a bar. But overall it was a very nice stay. The staff are nice, the price is reasonable actually it is perfect for the budget and thè breakfast inclusion is a treat.

Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.
