Unfortunately, the paid safari in the vicinity of the lodge didn't meet expectations. Maybe there's been fewer animals. Very welcome hosts of the lodge.Beautiful rooms and food

This is the first hotel I stayed in in Namibia. It is located in the downtown area of Windhoek. Although it is not a bustling street, it is not far from the National Museum and Lutheran Gospel Church. It is more convenient to go out. The hotel is not big, but there is free parking. The hotel's house is a bungalow, the room is moderate, there is a big bed, the furniture is simple, but practical, and there are shower facilities in the bathroom. The hotel staff is kind and attentive, patiently explaining the various facilities in the room and the service time of breakfast. I am warmhearted that the hostess at the front desk learned that my passport was lost at the foreign currency exchange office at the airport. I immediately contacted the airport and helped me find the passport. I was excited and burst into tears. This is the mistake I made on the first day of my trip to Africa. If it is really lost, It will cause a lot of trouble for the subsequent trip. Thanks again to the front desk hostess, God will bless you!

Great hotel, good environment. There is free dinner, there are ostriches, although it is a farm hotel, but very clean. Very close to the airport, 10 minutes drive, the hotel provides a reasonable pick-up and drop-off service.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland during my visit to Windhoek. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet it is close enough to the city center to reach the main attractions and restaurants within a short drive or walk. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the furnishings are somewhat traditional, everything was well maintained and functional. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep every night. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with transportation, local recommendations, or any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was another enjoyable part of the experience. The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, local specialties, and coffee, providing a satisfying start to each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool, which created a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Uhland offers excellent value for money. It may not be a luxury hotel, but its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable facilities make it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Windhoek. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and affordable place to stay in Namibia.

The overall experience of staying this time is not bad, I would give it a score of 70 points. The location of the hotel is quite convenient and the surrounding facilities are relatively complete. The room is generally clean and sanitary conditions need to be improved. The bed comfort was average and sleep quality was okay. Overall, the price/performance ratio is okay, but there is room for improvement.
