"The central location allows you to reach handicraft stores, restaurants, pizzeries and bars, which is fantastic if you want to explore the area. The hotel has recently been renovated and offers private bathrooms, which are surely comfortable. Breakfast area with single-portion products, good coffee, tea and tea varieties make the experience even more pleasant. The environment is also very nice, with details that recall nature, creating a quiet and restful atmosphere."

"We spent 9 nights at the Hotel Rojan - the most central location possible in a beautiful small city, no more than 50 meters from the statue of Ovid, who was famous for being exiled to the Black Sea for having an affair with Caesar's grand-daughter. (By the way, she was not a minor, but certainly an unwise choice for an unsanctioned affair.) The Rojan is family owned, named by using the initials of brother and sister, Jianluca and Angela, and their mother. The hotel was perfect and we felt like part of the family when we left. Jianluca and Angela each came with us when we needed help at a local bank or telegraph office, and they were great with restaurant advice."

"I’m a tour guide and stayed in the hotel with 2 groups coming from Belgium. The location is ideal to visit and discover the region. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant is cosy with a nice view of the garden. After an intensive day of sightseeing the garden and 2 swimming pools offer peace and quiet. The management makes their guests feel at home. "I can’t adequately express how wonderful our stay at Stella Casabono was. The hotel’s owners, Roberto and Giuseppe were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on and a delight. Mostly though, Roberto and Giuseppe treated us like family and were extremely accommodating when we decided to extend our stay in Sulmona. The hotel’s location was smack dab in the center of Sulmona and an evening stroll through town became a delightful daily ritual. The rooms in the hotel are large, well designed and the amenities were equal to any 5 star hotel in Rome or Paris. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. On our next trip to the Abruzzo and Sulmona we stay will stay at Stella Casabono because, why not—it was a perfect stay."

"We had a comfortable 3 nights at Sei Stelle. The location was excellent being very close to the main square. So this meant you had several restaurants and bars only a few steps away. The bedroom was nice and clean with a good bathroom and a decent shower. David was an exceptional host and the breakfast was good. This was a good choice of a place to stay in Sulmona."

"Excellent place to stay. I wasn’t surprised because we were told very good things about this hotel. When we got there, I was pleased to see that it was true. Met the owner and she was fabulous. Her husband played a wonderful song for us on the piano. He’s excellent. All of the staff was great too. Great breakfast, great room, clean, a lot included in the room. I would definitely stay there again. It is Central to a lot of Abbruzzi and there is a lot to see within about an hour drive. Beautiful scenery."
