"I’m a tour guide and stayed in the hotel with 2 groups coming from Belgium. The location is ideal to visit and discover the region. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant is cosy with a nice view of the garden. After an intensive day of sightseeing the garden and 2 swimming pools offer peace and quiet. The management makes their guests feel at home. Special thank you to the staff in the restaurant for paying attention to the special requests. I’m looking forward to my stay in September. Caroline"

The bedroom was nice and clean with a good bathroom and a decent shower. David was an exceptional host and the breakfast was good. This was a good choice of a place to stay in Sulmona."

"We were very friendly and available staff, we were treated very well. There are very clean and well furnished accommodation as well as bathroom and kitchen. All very clean and ordered. The location is excellent, almost apart from the center, with the convenience of walking both in the center and at the railway station. "We took a 2-week Italy trip and stopped in Sulmona for a few days. The staff at Hotel Rojan went above and beyond - one of the owners drew us an incredible map of the area with stops for a full day (eating, hiking, swimming, etc.). My boyfriend got our car stuck on one of the very narrow streets and the hotel owners even drove the car out for us! The breakfast was incredible and the location in Sulmona can't be beat. Our favorite gelato in Italy is just a few blocks away! The AC worked well, the bed was comfortable. If you're looking for a quieter Italian experience to add to your travel plans, definitely stay here."

"This hotel is absolutely magical. The Morrone Mountains in the background makes for an incredible view, especially in April when the snow at the top of the mountain is still visible. The hotel itself has great grounds with a really nice pool area. The food was amazing, each meal I had at the hotel was better than the previous one. The pasta dishes were my favorite. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for great food, very friendly and accommodating staff and an amazingly view. 10/10 would return, and I hope I do!!"

"This was our third stay at Stella Casa Bono, and as per our previous two stays, it was exceptional. Starting with the warmth that Roberto and Giuseppe received us with and the help provided with parking and our luggage. The beautiful and well appointed room that we stayed in - a lot of care and attention to detail goes into each of their rooms and they are spotlessly clean. The breakfast in the morning was varied, plentiful and delicious. It is easy to feel at home at Stella Casa Bono ... The location is excellent - in the centre of town, but quiet, and with parking available in a nearby car park. Alternatively, if you're arriving in Sulmona by bus or train (as we have in previous years) you can make arrangements for Roberto or Giuseppe to pick you up. They can also organise day trips and local experiences (with prior notice). Taking all that into consideration, our stays always feel like we've received excellent value for money and we'll be happily returning for another visit next year."
