"After dropping my sister off at Tullamarine, I drove an easy hour drive to Trawool. Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Trawool cottages with my dog. Loved the cottage as soon as I stepped in. Big comfortable bed with electric blankets, split system air conditioner, gorgeous fire place, well equipped kitchen. I loved that the porch had a gate so my dog could sit out there and I didn’t need to worry about him wandering. Great walking/riding track across the road that goes for miles. Also the room delivered breakfast was a massive bonus. Mel also lined me up a masseur to come to the cottage. Didn’t jump in the spa but it looked tempting. Got a surprise visit from a beautiful peacock."

The view and the food were absolutely everything we could have asked for (highly recommend the beef cheek!), while the accommodation was comfortable and let us wake up to the surrounds of the Macedon Ranges. Excellent place to visit for a romantic dinner, too - the food and wine are award-winning, so definitely worth a trip if you don't need to stay overnight!"

"The cottage was cute; however, it was not clean. There was dust everywhere, which meant that I was consistently sneezing and blowing my nose (allergic to dust). The place looks run down and needs some work done. The gardens need to be better maintained, and the spa looked like no one has used it for months, covered in dust and leaves which did not make it very appealing. The bed was cricking every time you moved about. The bathroom was outdated, and they were a lot of wear and tear. On-going issues with the being able to flush the toilet and the running water. Woke up on sunday morning to find we had no water and therefore could not have showers, brush our teeth etc, which was pretty disappointing."

"Where do we start….Booked room with Breakfast for 2 promoted…woke up next morning no breakfast….No one in the entire building.Containers or cereal…no milk…lovely toaster with butter and satchels of Vegemite etc…but yes…no bread…A lovely large jar of mocona coffee filled with Nescafé…..No coffee cups only little teacups…As we were leaving confronted cleaner who proceeded to make excuse after excuse…Do not stay at this shithole….No cares given here by owners…Worst place We have ever booked in 56 years on this earth…"

"Marnong Estate is a winery located near Sunbury, on the outskirts of Melbourne. We went for a family occasion. The restaurant was excellent, the cuisine was Italian. I had green olives and arancini balls for antipasto, followed by Chicken Cacciatore for my main course, which was delicious. The estate-grown wine was superb, based on Italian varietals. I liked the Moltipulciano. It's s a red wine made from Tuscan varietals. We certainly had a wonderful day."
