Romantic Hotels in Shandong, China

I originally booked this hotel in Yantai just for a layover before taking a ferry, and I never expected it to be so fantastic! The first reaction from my four friends when we entered the room was, ”Wow, this is so luxurious, like a presidential suite!” There was even a game console in the room, making it perfect for families with kids. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The front desk staff, both the young lady and the older woman, had excellent service attitudes. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Yantai.

During summer vacation, I took my elementary school-aged children to climb Mount Tai. Ctrip picked us up at Jinan Airport and took us to Tai'an, where we stayed at the Wyndham Hotel for two nights. The hotel is relatively new, has a nice environment, and is high-end and classy. I personally think it's probably the most luxurious hotel in Tai'an. The front desk staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room for free. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station, just a few minutes away, and the reservation includes free transfers from the station. The next day, we took the high-speed rail to the Three Confucian Temples Scenic Area and Nishan Academy in Qufu for a round-trip (20 minutes), saving us the hassle of changing hotels with luggage. I'm glad I did my research well and chose the right hotel. I'll definitely choose the Wyndham again next time I visit.

Second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and is the best part of the trip. The staff are also accommodating. It’s hard to communicate but as long as you have the translation app on your phone, it will work out. However, the amenities of the hotel is on the older side. They need to update it to become more modern. Bring your own toiletries as the ones they have are drying on the skin and hair. The air-conditioning was not working properly. Though they tried to fix it by wheeling in a portable AC. It still ran hot most days.

The overall service was exceptional. Someone helped with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car, and the front desk staff were fantastic – even better than the service at Shangri-La! I rarely write such long reviews, but the view from the 'influencer' room was absolutely stunning. It would have been even better if the breakfast selection was a bit more varied. This stay was incredibly satisfying, everything deserves a perfect five-star rating! The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, with warm and elegant decor, creating a wonderful overall atmosphere that's great for photos. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, responding promptly and communicating smoothly. We needed to change rooms midway through our stay, and it was handled quickly and efficiently with no hassle at all. A special thanks to Lora for her thoughtful and meticulous service throughout – truly patient and professional, making our stay peaceful and comfortable. Highly recommend, I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and beautiful surroundings. The service attitude was exceptionally good. There are many attractions nearby, and the staff was particularly nice. The sea is right outside the door, which is super great! You can also go clam digging in front, making it very suitable for a family trip.

Essentially an apartment, but with hotel-style management and excellent service. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise; I hardly found any dirty spots, and the linens were spotless. The view is absolutely stunning, with three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom all facing the ocean directly. The room's facilities are a bit dated, though, and there's no smart home control system. The decor feels like it's from a decade ago.

Before check-in, I didn't hear from the butler, so I proactively contacted them and added them to my contacts. I communicated my needs: 1. Baby supplies. 2. A simple arrangement for my birthday. 3. A clean and quiet room. Upon arrival, there were many people checking in. We were given a corner room on the 17th floor. The butler mentioned it had the best side-sea view. However, there was no special decoration in the room. An hour later, staff came to install a bed rail, deliver baby supplies, a balloon, a greeting card, and two eye patches. The staff delivering these items said fruit and cake would be delivered later or arranged by contacting the butler, but they never arrived. I asked if, given it was my birthday and I had a child with me (a double bonus!), they could arrange a small lion toy. They refused and told me to buy one on the first floor. After dinner, we returned to our room. The room next door was being decorated for a wedding. I knew the morning's wedding procession would definitely disturb our sleep! So much for a 'quiet room'! I called the front desk. After confirming, they moved us to a room on the 23rd floor in the same location, which meant another round of packing and unpacking. Once settled, the air conditioning hummed loudly like a blower. I had to call again. They said someone would come, but we waited for half an hour. A maintenance worker arrived with a ladder, fiddled with it for ten minutes, and fixed it. Moving rooms meant reinstalling the bed rail. More waiting. After waiting for housekeeping to install the bed rail, I reported a smoky smell, and they brought an air purifier. By the time we started getting ready for bed, more than an hour had passed since we first re-entered the room. I hurriedly took care of my child and gave feedback to the butler. She apologized and applied for a small gift for the baby. I thought to myself: What about my ruined birthday mood? I'm important too! The next morning, my child wanted to watch cartoons, but the TV's screen mirroring function had issues. It would play for a bit then pop up with a 'playback paused' message. After several repetitions, my child started crying again... The breakfast selection was good, and the taste was acceptable. They cleared the buffet at 10:30 AM, and we arrived at 10:00 AM, so I understand they wouldn't replenish items. However, someone should at least tidy up; it looked like leftover scraps.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, especially with the package deal we got. Its central location makes getting around super convenient, whether by subway, bus, or taxi. The breakfast buffet at the revolving restaurant was excellent, with a great selection of Jinan local snacks. Highly recommended!

Not a scam at all, this place is genuinely good! We had a sea view room, and sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee, and enjoying the ocean view was fantastic. The in-room facilities are incredibly complete – pots, pans, everything you could possibly need. The customer service was excellent too; they really went above and beyond to help with anything we asked. It's just a few minutes from Torch Eight Street, and when we visited, there was no parking fee.

The Orange Crystal Hotel Beijing Sanlitun Taikoo Li boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Taikoo Li, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The rooms are clean and tidy with new facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The overall design is simple yet stylish, and it offers great value for money. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
