📍 Walter-Gropius-Strasse 11, Schwabing-Freimann, Munich
★★★ 8.3 (83 reviews)

"Spot on, the flat had everything you need, and nice touches like 2 cold beers in the fridge! Clean and surprisingly quiet, despite being on a main road. The only issue was the glass bathroom walls, really not ideal for your privacy. If I happen to travel to Munich again on my own, this will be my first choice, but if I'm back with my partner I'll chose for a place with a bathroom allowing privacy."

"The hotel is not so far from the train station and easy accessible to supermarkets and restaurants. Bed was comfy however the air-conditioning wasn't working very well and very light blowing. We have to open the windows to sleep at jight because the aircon wasnMt strong enough"

Hampton by Hilton Munich City Centre West

📍 Landsberger Str. 114, Schwanthalerhohe, Munich
★★★ 8.5 (553 reviews)

"Location is near to train station, accessible to airport via the S1 or S8. There’s a tram stop right outside the hotel, and a supermarket across the street.  Staff service from an Asian lady at reception was transactional during our first check in. When we returned 2 days later, the african staff was warm and hospitable. Both days we got early check in.  Breakfast spread was decent, but better than other hotels we stayed in Germany.  Room size was good, just that the water pressure was a little low."

Rosewood Munich Hotels in Munich

Rosewood Munich

"The location of Rosewood Munich is absolutely fantastic, a must-stay for anyone who loves shopping – it's close to everything. The pool and sauna facilities are excellent, boasting an exquisite aesthetic that feels luxurious without being gaudy. There's a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere that truly makes you feel at home. I'll definitely be visiting other Rosewood properties in the future. I personally feel the hotel's design is a cut above the Regent in Hong Kong. Also, the prices for the restaurant dishes and desserts are surprisingly fair, even cheaper than some very ordinary restaurants in Stuttgart. Even if you're not staying here, it's a great spot to grab a meal, considering the superb ambiance."

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich Hotels in Munich

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich

"The reception was indifferent and unfriendly. When booking, I specified the need for latex pillows and an extra luggage rack in the special requests section, but neither was provided upon check-in. The concierge's service was better. At check-out, I requested the frontdesk to help with my luggage, but no one came to assist. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also poorly attended to; the service was lukewarm and indifferent, perhaps due to the restaurant's high demand. The food quality was mediocre and did not live up to the website's claim of being the top restaurant in Munich. The Deluxe Room we booked online was advertised as 35-38 square meters, but the actual room was much smaller than expected. In short, aside from the location, everything else fell short of expectations, earning only a mediocre rating. I would likely not stay there again or recommend it to friends; perhaps my expectations were too high, leading to greater disappointment."

"Nice, modern hotel with newly furnished rooms. The room was a bit small, but it was very clean and well-maintained. One downside was the lack of a wardrobe or proper storage space for clothes. Overall, a comfortable stay for a short visit."

"The room is clean and matches the photos. It is on the smaller side (there were limited space for luggage) but it is perfect for solo travellers or students. The bathroom is bright and clean, but there are issues with the shower, though. The water temperature sometimes fluctuates wildly. The reception staff is friendly. It has been a good stay."

"Greeted by some lovely staff members, the room was excellent (apart from a large crack in the bathroom sink). Everything else was exceptional. Except the 25 Euros to use the parking. It really should be free for paying customers. Thanks again for a nice stay."

Hotel Bayer's Boztepe ★★★
"The hotel is on the main street just above Pizza Hut. It's easy to find and we feel safe staying there as there were lights and lots of traffic on the main street. However, as it’s on the main street, its very noisy when opened the window. So, its a trade off between secure but noisy, and quite but unsafe like the other hotel on the inner street we stayed before where there were crowds smoking ****. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. One thing I don't like the hotel is the tiny sink. The bathroom is big but the sink is tiny. The water spilled over and wet the floor."
