Hot Springs Hotels in Hainan, China

This hotel is located on Ocean Flower Island, which makes exploring the island quite convenient. The surrounding environment is lovely, and the hotel itself is massive, with many guests. This can make it feel a bit chaotic, and the front desk management could definitely be improved. Breakfast was decent but not very varied. The biggest issue with this hotel, however, is the room size. It's so small that two people can barely move around, and there's only one tiny stool with no other seating. You basically have to get on the bed as soon as you enter the room. There's no space to put clothes or luggage, which really impacted our stay. We originally planned to stay for two nights but ended up checking out after just one.

The Narada Resort & Spa, hidden in the rainforest, was a huge surprise! The subtropical forest vegetation is incredibly lush, and the resort itself is massive, like a big tropical park. They have electric shuttles to take you anywhere you need to go. The guest rooms are well-designed, with hot springs in each room. The hotel also features outdoor swimming pools, two hot spring baths, and even a fish spa. The Taoyuan Xiaoguan Chinese restaurant offers a very rich menu of Hainanese specialties; the roasted chicken and coconut rice are absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the breakfast – it's incredibly varied and excellent! It's also very close to the Qixianling Scenic Area, about a 10-minute drive. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much. I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

Environment: What you see is what you get – you can see the beach and the sea right from your bed. It’s beautiful. I’ve also looked around nearby, and this is the only place I saw with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a sea view, which is stunning! Service: The service is absolutely exceptional. Almost any request you make to the front desk is taken care of. They even gave us complimentary welcome desserts (P2). Facilities: We all loved the bathtub – it was perfect for photos! My only wish is that the tub in our room had been in the center instead of to the side. I brought my girlfriends here to take some gorgeous swimsuit photos, and they turned out amazing!

Our stay at Sheraton Haikou was fantastic! It's perfect for both family vacations and parents with kids. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Our butler, Sally, was incredibly responsive and warm. The pool and hot springs facilities are excellent, and the beach is just a short walk away. The sea breeze and the sound of the waves were so relaxing. With the coconut trees and the ocean's charm, it really felt like a perfect getaway. We booked this hotel to see Hua Chenyu's Mars Concert, and it was also convenient for reaching Changying Global 100 Fantasy Park. The concert shuttle pick-up point was right at the bus stop outside. We'd definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance! 😊

The rooms are generously sized, and the facilities are well-maintained. We especially appreciated the delicious complimentary desserts delivered to our room daily. The swimming pool, water park, and hot springs are fantastic, making it perfect for families with kids. The only minor point for improvement would be the dinner buffet, as the selection and quality of dishes could be better. The complimentary shooting range, which came with our booking, is definitely worth taking the kids to; they had a blast! However, don't bother with the Feng Xiaogang Movie Commune – it's a complete waste of money.

On this business trip to Haikou, I stayed at the Haikou State Guest Hotel again. When checking in, Manager Xiao Lin at the front desk was as warm and hospitable as ever. At breakfast, the service from the lovely Manager Sun Xiaoxiao in the restaurant was incredibly pleasant, like a breath of fresh air. When checking out, Manager Xiao Sui's service was equally delightful and heartwarming. All in all, the thoughtful and caring service was very enjoyable. A big thumbs up to all these staff members! I'll definitely stay here again next time. See you then!

The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, with an oriental garden architectural style. The rooms are spacious, modern, simple, and elegant, and breakfast is plentiful and served in a quiet, comfortable setting. A highlight is the natural hot spring (water drawn from 1000 meters underground; reportedly drained daily. I saw the hot spring pools just starting to fill with water when I went swimming around 7 AM on December 2nd) and the large swimming pool. It's close to the coast and the China Duty-Free Shopping Complex (about a 10-yuan taxi ride). The Hainan Duty-Free Shopping Complex (the largest in Hainan) has a unique design and is worth a visit. Qilou Old Street is a bit further (online car-hailing costs around 45-75 yuan, depending on whether it's peak hours).

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel's front desk staff were very warm, professional, and attentive. Especially Ms. Xiaofang, who was enthusiastic and patient, proactively upgraded our room, and kindly introduced us to the hotel's surroundings and other services. We were so pleased that we extended our stay twice. We had originally booked a suite, but the hotel upgraded us directly to a river view suite, which was fantastic with a huge balcony and a breathtaking view. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly meticulous; the room was cleaned thoroughly and with great care. As a smoker, I initially used a mineral water bottle as an ashtray on the balcony. To my surprise, the next day I found the housekeeping staff had placed an ashtray and hotel matches on the balcony for me, which was a very thoughtful touch. All in all, it was a highly satisfying experience, and I will definitely prioritize Pullman Hotels in the future.
