Great location, about 1km from the east gate of Wulingyuan scenic area. Many restaurants just steps away. There’s a theatre next to the hotel, was able to book a performance, definitely worth it. Hotel has beautiful pool area, unfortunately too cold to use, would be amazing in the summer. Breakfast was plentiful, standard western and Chinese choices. The furniture and decor is kind of traditional and old style, but well maintained. The only negative is that there are carpets in the rooms, inevitably with small stains, overall, I would recommend the hotel, best in this area.

We stayed for my partners birthday. I must commend the English speaking staff. They tried their best to help us when they could. Unfortunately this hotel is very dated and old. The bedding and towels had obvious stains on them. The rooms are far from other parts of the hotel so you need a cart or to walk to the next location. The food in the Western restaurant is not very appetizing (that's where breakfast is too, for the price not worth it) , the Chinese restaurant is much better. The pool is much smaller than the pictures. We visited in summer, so children dominated it so we didn't feel like we could use it. The hotel is very close to the Grand Canyon, however I would not stay again.

Air conditioning wasn’t great. Bathroom was nice and clean. Great location. They let us get room service after the restaurant closed which was really nice. Food was really delicious too. Bit Smoky but that seems like a normal occurrence in zhangjiajie.

This was the best stay that I’ve had in China. It is an absolute beautiful place with an amazing view. The infinity pool is so nice, you have a amazing backdrop view and can see so many stars at night; we even had it to ourselves most of the time. The service here is top tier, they will even drive you on a golf cart to save you walking 3-4 minutes if you like haha. Our room/cabin was very nice, great bed, and a luxurious bathtub on the balcony. The fridge was even full of beer and soft drinks to have. This place is most definitely worth the money spent! If I’m in Zhangjiajie again, I will be coming back!

This hotel is absolutely spectacular, the interior is breathtaking and the views from the rooms are absolutely amazing! What I thoroughly enjoyed about staying at this hotel was the helpfulness of the staff. We worked with Andy who went above and beyond the call of duty, he helped with everything, from recommendations to bookings, he'd always check up and make sure everything was good. I've never been at a hotel with such amazing staff! I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Zhangjiajie. It's close to the National Forest Park and there's no need to worry about getting around as there's always someone to help with anything you may need! Thank you to Andy once again for making our stay so much more easier and memorable!

The location of the hotel is very good because it is near the entrance of the National Forest Park, near many restaurants and shops, near the bus stop for you to ride bus if you want to explore within the Wulingyuan area. The service is very good because the hotel staffs are very accomodating and responsive. The buffet breakfast is very good because all the foods are tasty and healthy, the restaurant has a nice ambience and nice staffs. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good because it was kept everyday. The amenities are very good because even if the hotel is big, they have many elevators that you can use that will take you to the outside level without passing or using the main elevator at the reception area inside. The room has all the things you need during the stay, with free bottles of water everyday. It is a plus having so many power outlets, an automatic curtain, an aircon that you can adjust yourself, big desk, lights with many lighting options, automatic toilet light sensor, and nice colorful street view specially at night.

Location was just perfect, directly opposite the TianMen Mountain Cable car. Room was so comfortable. The breakfast was great (especially eating so many days of Chinese food), there was many variety to choose from. The staffs at the restaurant there were friendly. Kudos to Chef Hu. There was another two aunty staffs (which I have forgotten their name, but should be from housekeeping) that were of great help, the laundry dryer was so packed till everyone was queueing to use them. They took out extra dryers from the storeroom for our use. Really appreciate their help . 👍👍👍

We loved our stay at Manyuan resort hotel. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Her name was Yuanyuan. She planned the itinerary for our entire holiday and even helped us in buying discounted tickets. She even helped coordinate with a bakery to deliver a great birthday cake for my mother’s birthday. Her customer service really impressed us and further enhanced the quality of our stay. The rooms at the hotel are very modern and spacious. We stayed in a family room which had lots of toys for our young child. There was a trampoline and slide in the room too which made our son very happy. The location of the hotel is central and just a 10 minute walk to Wulingyuan scenic area and a 7-8 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. Overall, I rate this hotel five stars.

If you are planning to visit Zhangjiajie, this hotel is a perfect place to stay. It is an amazing experience in Zhangjiajie. The hotel location make it perfect spot for those who wanna go around all the sightseeing in Zhangjiajie.The host is a fantastic guy, kind and helpful, and as extra bonus, he speaks English. He helped us to arrange for our daily tours and has great knowledge about the area, forest, and sightseeing. The hotel was very neat and clean with fantastic avatars mountain view. The breakfast was also nice and covered variety of Asian and western tastes. Furthermore, we driven there with our EV, and the fast charging station is opposite to this place. Moreover, as we travel with our two dogs, we chose a pet friendly hotel and it worked. it’s a great pet friendly hotel for those who travel with their fair babies. In the second day of our stay the host surprised me with the cake 🎂 for my birthday which proof how friendly he is and care about guests happiness and comfort. 张家界森林公园的景观令人震惊，同时，酒店的工作人员服务很好，他们记得我的生日并为我准备了一份蛋糕，很感谢，我们能够在房间里看到森林公园，景色很美丽

Everything was awesome and even better than expected. -The young couple managing this place is very carying for the hosts and enthsuiastics to serve. As soon as we arrived they gave us a map and sat down to explain us the best itinerary to take, and what was not a priority to visit based on our time (we had a single day to visit the park). This was very helpful to us. This day chinese citizens had special discount for the park entrance and they kindly used their accounts to make us beneficiate their discounts - Delicious breakfast in the morning hand made. They also have dinner. There is also a main road at 1min walking with a bunch of good restaurant and street food. - The park is at 10min with Didi from the Hotel - Hotel very clean and cosy. Living room with many places to chill or eat breakfast/dinner. With a few table in the backyard oustide as well - Rooms are perfectly clean and fonctional. Bed is very comfy. Big plus is a window that takes an entire wall size with the view to the mountains! - They provided us with a Taxi less expensive than the one we took to come to the place. Everything was really amazing, one of my best stay in a hotel. Thanks to this lovely family!

Pros: staffs at the front desk are friendly. good location for tianmen mountain tourist. Convenient area as many restaurants and shops are around. Close to Zhangjiajie railway station and the airport , about 15minutes away from west railway station. Cons: rooms are old dated , shower booth water pressure is weak, bed mattress is not comfortable. Breakfast is very simple chinese style (no toast machine, no butter/jam, coffee taste weird).

Location- perfect for a remote stay! You feel truly in nature and able to relax. There is one road up so it can sometimes be hard to organise a taxi here but contact the hotel and they will help you easily Service- rain is extremely helpful and helped us organise transport to and from the national park gate which is very close Good- excellent chinese food, feels home cooked and delicious, not as oily. Breakfast is great Pool- stunning infinity pool! FYI you are in nature so there are bugs in the area

Loved staying at this hotel ! 10/10 I would recommend. As a tourist from out of the country I felt very welcome and well taken care of right from when I got there. The room was clean and the view of the mountains from my window was literally breathtaking. Also, I would like to say a big thank you to the hotel staff for being so helpful and efficient..when I first got into my room, I made a mistake and ended up blowing a fuse in my room. I went downstairs to the front desk and explained the situation and it was fixed within a few minutes of me getting back to my room...thank you! I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhangjiajie

We stayed in this hotel for 6 days. First of all I want to thank lively owners of this hotel 💐 It’s a very nice guest house I ever stayed. Very nice and clean room with amazing Mountain View! Hotel located in a very peaceful place, fresh air, no any noise from outside. Building looks very nice, not so big, very interesting interior. You can find your own place to sit and relax. Chinese style breakfast, very simple and delicious. also can order lunch and dinner, witch they cook according your preferences. The owner of the hotel very nice lady and man. Lady will explain you everything in a small details about the park and will give you a map. From the hotel to the south gates of the park is just around 15 min walk or hotel can arrange free car. If you will have any questions or problems owners always will help you with everything. All of the stuff there very friendly and helpful.

Ticks all the boxes of an elegant resort hotel. Enough staff who understand English for communication at any time to not be a pain. Services were excellent. A special shout out to Ms. Pan for going out of her way to help us with our train ticket problem. Our room was spacious and luxurious; bed, linen, toiletries were premium quality. Breakfast had everybody covered. The hotel, next door up from the busier Pullman hotel is in the most scenic area of Wulingyan. There is a night market and an enclave of restaurants nearby yet oddly the area remains calm and very walkable. The hotel is about 7 to 10 rmb ( less than $2) from most places in town an 40 rmb from the fast train station. We did not use anybody's travel services as it was not difficult to get around. Locals call this hotel ”nabally;” neodalle” will get you a blank stare. Show them the hotel's business card and you'll be fine. All in all I'd choose to stay here again and would gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. It is well worth a 40% premium over Pullman.

I was deceived by a travel agency in the name of Ctrip promotion (it seems to be crowded, in their lobby anyway) (because I refunded the group and charged the room directly, not allowing myself to make up the difference at the front desk), saying it was a four-star hotel , I have been a hotel for nearly ten years, at most it is a quasi-three-star, talk about this wonderful trip, breakfast is average, there are not many varieties, when I first checked in, because there were children, I asked the front desk for two room cards, one at the front desk The lady directly said that there is only one card per room, and I said that it is also OK as a deposit. She said no, there can only be one card. This is the first time I heard about it after staying in so many hotels. The second tells me that the invoice cannot be issued for the new year. It was already December when I checked in (the company was changing the company name at that time). But I want to praise a handsome guy for his patience. He also opened the door for us several times. After I explained the situation to him, we made the card for us, and we took it down and returned it to the front desk after checking out.

The hotel is perfectly situated for the visit to the Zhangjiajie mountain as it is right by the cable car station. The room is fine, the shower was lovely and the air conditioning worked well. The staff are friendly and really helpful, they helped to book tickets and bus for the night performance. They even provided a room for us to change our wet garments after the mountain even after we had checked out. The hotel reception is on the 10th floor of the building.

If i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park. Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days. Breakfast was homemade and really delicious. To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

What made us really impressed was the hotel owner, she really helped us in everything, From making super delicious dumplings to arranging our tour (from discounted entrance tickets, up to arranging our transportation), So any guest who will stay at this hotel will get a good experience in traveling. Another thing that we like is that the bed has a heater, which is very helpful, especially during winter like now. If you can, try the watermelon ginger drink made by the owner of this hotel, it's very delicious and really refreshing. Excellent (best) location to explore whole ZhangJiaJie (do not stay in main city - too noisy). You can book it though Trip.com. Hotel organized for us a pick on arrival, also brought us down to the entrance every morning, and even wanted to organize a transfer back but we had own arrangement for a day. We received TV, based on request, and enjoyed fruits and tea in the room while watching favorite movies. I explained to the kitchen ayi how to do breakfast eggs so managed not to get hungry over Chinese breakfast (never closing doors in winter). Dinner is available as well or you can get a taxi to the city - 20 min, we enjoyed Korean barbecue for two nights. Pity we could not try the pool and jacuzzi, it was very cold. Great service and great recharging stay, thank you for everything ZiShan Resort!

Location - very convenient location, the entrance to the “Tienmen” cable car line A is right behind the hotel, 10 minutes by taxi to the site “72 strange buildings”, variety of restaurants around, McDonald’s, park and riverside not far away. 15-20 minutes from Zhangjiajie West railway station. The hotel itself is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the building, the reception is on the 4th floor. Might be tricky to find for the first time. No noise from outside, quiet area. Service and Amenities - very nice reception management, they picked me up from the railway station on time, washed my laundry and brought it to me dry, asked if I needed to clean my room every day of my staying there. They also let me keep my luggage for the day at the reception after my check out. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in sufficient quantity, all sockets work, two types of slippers (disposable and rubber). Although it’s quiet area, they anyway provide ear plugs. Free bag of delicious local tea and tea set in the room. The only thing I wish they had it’s razors. Cleanliness - room was looking exactly like on the pictures, bedsheets are clean and smell fresh, no annoying smells in the room too. Walls are clean, maybe with a little scratches, but not critical. I had no smoking room, and room wasn’t smelling like smoke at all (sounds weird to describe this, but sometimes room still smells like cigarettes despite being “non smoking”)

Because I was going to Tianmen Mountain, I wanted to find a place to sleep nearby. I checked and found that this place is close to Line A. I thought I would stay here. When I arrived, I found that the entire building was occupied by accommodation. The downstairs They are all places to eat. They are very convenient. You can see Line A across the street. The boss is very enthusiastic and will tell you how to get there. You can just take a taxi. It doesn’t cost more than ten yuan to get there. You must go to the Seventy-Two Qilou in the evening. , don’t turn on the lights at night and it doesn’t look too good. As for whether you can go in and see someone, the tea girl next to you has to buy it for me even if I queue up! How about showing off Kuku~ Show me three cups at a time

A pleasant surprise waits for a solo traveller at the hotel desk. To start with, my flight reached late and it was almost midnight when i checked in. To my amazement, there were a few eateries still open at that hour. I checked in and while having dinner at the next door restaurant lost my door card but the hotel did not charge me a bit for that. I got a room on the 15th floor and found Morninginn written on the doors. Not sure of they combine with other hotel rooms. The rooms are big and basic but the house keeping does a good job with crisp clean white sheets and towels changed everyday if requested. The cable car station being behind the hotel (a 2 minute walk) is the biggest advantage if you plan to visit Tianmen mountains. Rooms have large windows and the WIFI is excellent. There is also a travel service available below which could take care of your plans to visit the famous tourist spots in Zhangjiajei. Now for some areas where the service could be improved. There are no wardrobes but just a coat hangar for clothes which might be an issue for families. Secondly, the room had no supply of tea/coffee sachets despite a hot water kettle being available. The bathroom kit could also improve with additional lotions for winter and a handsoap for regular use. The lights in the bathroom are also dim. These little additions could make this hotel a delight amongst travellers.

Location - very convenient location, the entrance to the “Tienmen” cable car line A is right behind the hotel, 10 minutes by taxi to the site “72 strange buildings”, variety of restaurants around, McDonald’s, park and riverside not far away. 15-20 minutes from Zhangjiajie West railway station. The hotel itself is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the building, the reception is on the 4th floor. Might be tricky to find for the first time. No noise from outside, quiet area. Service and Amenities - very nice reception management, they picked me up from the railway station on time, washed my laundry and brought it to me dry, asked if I needed to clean my room every day of my staying there. They also let me keep my luggage for the day at the reception after my check out. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in sufficient quantity, all sockets work, two types of slippers (disposable and rubber). Although it’s quiet area, they anyway provide ear plugs. Free bag of delicious local tea and tea set in the room. The only thing I wish they had it’s razors. Cleanliness - room was looking exactly like on the pictures, bedsheets are clean and smell fresh, no annoying smells in the room too. Walls are clean, maybe with a little scratches, but not critical. I had no smoking room, and room wasn’t smelling like smoke at all (sounds weird to describe this, but sometimes room still smells like cigarettes despite being “non smoking”)

A pleasant surprise waits for a solo traveller at the hotel desk. To start with, my flight reached late and it was almost midnight when i checked in. To my amazement, there were a few eateries still open at that hour. I checked in and while having dinner at the next door restaurant lost my door card but the hotel did not charge me a bit for that. I got a room on the 15th floor and found Morninginn written on the doors. Not sure of they combine with other hotel rooms. The rooms are big and basic but the house keeping does a good job with crisp clean white sheets and towels changed everyday if requested. The cable car station being behind the hotel (a 2 minute walk) is the biggest advantage if you plan to visit Tianmen mountains. Rooms have large windows and the WIFI is excellent. There is also a travel service available below which could take care of your plans to visit the famous tourist spots in Zhangjiajei. Now for some areas where the service could be improved. There are no wardrobes but just a coat hangar for clothes which might be an issue for families. Secondly, the room had no supply of tea/coffee sachets despite a hot water kettle being available. The bathroom kit could also improve with additional lotions for winter and a handsoap for regular use. The lights in the bathroom are also dim. These little additions could make this hotel a delight amongst travellers.

LOVE the place !!! Good location, right next to the TMS cableway station..so whenever u took a cab/DiDi.. just let them know the cableway station you will find your way back. Next, the lady receptionists were AWERSOME!, Friendly cheerful, being greeted upon return. Help to make arrangement for car to transport me to WLY scenic area. One occasion without transport, I was pointed to take a shuttle bus from the bus station directly to the Canyon. Although there are no welcome drink, was greeted with water :) and some snacks...The inn provides *****s of notes to direct cust to various places too. Lastly end of my trip, I was treated a Vit C filled orange before I headed for the Airport...

The hotel is perfectly situated for the visit to the Zhangjiajie mountain as it is right by the cable car station. The room is fine, the shower was lovely and the air conditioning worked well. The staff are friendly and really helpful, they helped to book tickets and bus for the night performance. They even provided a room for us to change our wet garments after the mountain even after we had checked out. The hotel reception is on the 10th floor of the building.

We chose this hostel because it is 5 minutes walk from the Yangjiajie entrance and it was a success. Very friendly and attentive staff, good and abundant food, simple but clean and well equipped rooms. To top off the adorable dog they have made our stay much happier. Upon arriving at Zhangjiajie airport, the owner was waiting for us to take us to the hostel with his car, I recommend this way because the park is an hour away and it can be difficult to get transportation. Regarding the food it is advisable to pay a little more and to be cooked in the same hostel so you will save time because there are no restaurants nearby.

The room pretty much looked like in the picture I saw in the app, good lighting, bright colours, cozy and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, and the tv had many channels to choose from. The bathroom had hot water all the time.The room was very clean. I have had breakfast ready for me to take out, and this was a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect it. My room was on the side of the building where the noise from the construction site could be heard, but even so I wasn't bothered much, as the windows blocked most of the noise.What they could do a bit better is deep-clean the carpets from time to time, the one in my room was a bit stained. There is a long piece of metal over the carpet in one part of the room transferring from the room to the small hall near the mirror, when I stepped on it, it stinged me a bit under my left foot, so hope that someone can check that for the future guests. All in all, very good experience, good service at the front desk, and, yes, definitely I plan to come back to stay here.
