Oliver WhitlockThe sea at Nacpan in the early morning is a blue-grey colour, not dull grey but textured, almost like matte glass. The light comes slowly over the mountains and spreads across the water. I joined the free morning yoga class the resort offers, on the beach, which was very comfortable.
One small frustration: not enough storage in the villa. Not many shelves or hooks, so camera gear and clothes had nowhere to go. The suitcase stayed open on the floor the whole time, which gets awkward in a small space. If youâre bringing a lot, just know that going in.
The room has a coffee machine and mini fridge, but I still liked walking to the restaurant. Head out before sunset, lie on a sun lounger, have dinner, then wander back slowly. The stars at night were more than I expected.

Grace Hutchinson!
âOne thing worth knowing if youâre travelling with kids: there are no childrenâs facilities, no waterslides, nothing like that. This is the kind of place that makes adults want to slow down. As for the kids, the pool isnât deep, and right next door is Lio Beach. They also have footballs and volleyballs to borrow. We sat at a nearby cafĂ© eating ice cream while watching them play, and I think thatâs honestly one of the best things a parent can experience.
Thereâs a hotel shuttle roughly every hour that you can book to go into town. We arranged island hopping through the hotel, took the shuttle to the departure point in the morning, and found the area there had far more restaurants and shops than around the hotel. After the tour we stayed a bit longer in town before heading back, though not being able to shower straight away was a slight downside.
On the room itself, two sinks is a mumâs dream. Thereâs a kitchen but I had no intention of cooking. Still, being able to wash fruit and have it ready was genuinely useful. Two large double beds, both very comfortable, and after a full day of activity the kids were asleep before we even had to ask.â

Natik1704This place is truly a little corner of paradise. Itâs almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is.
The owners â an Englishman and a Filipina â are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way.
The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided â right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition.
There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day.
And then thereâs the food⊠that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how itâs done â such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching.
My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didnât have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special.
Thatâs the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, thereâs always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, youâll have complete peace and seclusion.
It truly feels like your own little paradise.
If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. Weâre incredibly grateful for your hospitality and wish you all the success you deserve! â€ïž

Awesome hotel. We had the family room which had 2 double beds and 2 singles. For our family of 5 great. Kids loved the buffet breakfast.
Plenty of tuk tuks out front if you want to go into town (5 mins) or airport (20 mins).
There is 3 pools. We spent time at a different one each day.
We had had a pretty full on trip beforehand so this was the perfect hotel to relax for a bit.
Restaurant was good for dinner too.
Lots of food options in town too.
Good location to get to the port too for any day trips.
Highly recommend.

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlightâabsolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. Thereâs no TV, so if youâre traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

That girl abroad
I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, check-in was seamless, and my bags were taken straight to my room which made the arrival feel extra special.
The room itself was spacious and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with welcome chocolates and brownies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was fully equipped with everything youâd need: bottled water, a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee station, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. It felt comfortable and well-prepared for guests.
One thing that really impressed me was the laundry service. They had my clothes washed and returned within three hours, which was incredibly convenient and efficient.
The pool area is absolutely stunning and very clean. They have three restaurants on site, which gives great variety. I ordered poolside nachos with a carrot and apple drink and it was delicious. Breakfast is a proper buffet, leaning toward a full English-style spread with plenty of options.
That said, I do think the bathroom could use a bit of attention. Water leaked through the shower door when showering, the shower head could benefit from a deep clean, and I noticed a few drain flies. It didnât ruin my stay, but itâs an area that could definitely be improved.
I also experienced a small issue at checkout. They were unable to provide change when I was settling my bill, which delayed things. There were only two staff members assisting with checkout, and although I was scheduled to leave at 6:00am with a breakfast pack, I only managed to leave at 6:30am and unfortunately without the breakfast.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. With a little more attention to bathroom maintenance and smoother early-morning checkout coordination, it would be close to perfect. I would still happily return.

We traveled as a family of four and booked two roomsâone twin-sharing and one queen double. Both rooms were in good condition, clean, and comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping is available upon request, which was convenient.
Before our trip, I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews mentioning repetitive breakfast options and the absence of hairdryers. However, it seems the hotel has addressed these concerns. Each room now comes with a brand-new hairdryer (ours was still in the box), and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast offerings were varied and different each day.
The hotelâs location in Coron town is another big plus, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we return to Coron.

Perfect hotel! We booked individual overwater villas, which was an interesting experience! The rooms were clean, and there was a good variety on the breakfast menu. There are two pools, one with fresh water and one with saltwater! There's also a separate pavilion for watching the sunset or just relaxing and admiring the beautiful surroundings, set a little distance from the shore! The staff are friendly, young guys always ready to help! They greeted us with welcome drinks and helped with our luggage! (This hotel should definitely be more expensive!)

Nice hotel with good rooms. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to have a very relaxed policy for its guests. In the restaurant, a man can walk in and eat with a sweaty upper body, and the staff won't say anything. If there's a party with young people at the pool, with shouting and a lot of drinking, the staff also don't intervene. It's a real shame for the class such a hotel normally projects.
