GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the beach, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the pier. You can buy tickets for the Underground River National Park and boat tours at the small hut next to the pier, so there's no need to book a guided tour. If you go to buy tickets and board the boat around 8 AM, you can save about 1000 pesos compared to a tour package. The hotel's pool and restaurant are very clean, and the front desk staff and room attendants are all warm and friendly. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area. When taking a taxi from Puerto Princesa, you can ask the doorman at your Puerto Princesa hotel; it should cost around 3500 pesos.

The pool area was another highlight—serene, well-maintained, and perfect for lounging under the Palawan sun.
While the villa is located in Puerto Princesa city (not near far-flung attractions like the Underground River or Honda Bay), the hotel made exploring easy by offering convenient tours to these must-see spots - from city tours to island-hopping adventures, ensuring that we can experience the best of Palawan without the stress of planning. LLucy Ha 14The room was big and spacious! Lots of pools to swim in. Offered free afternoon tea/meriander which was lovely! Location is a little further from the city centre, but is a 10 mins scotter ride, they offer free bikes to ride.

MmiabuchananI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged.
The highlight of the property is definitely the pool and the customer service . The infinity pool overlooking the water and surrounding landscape was absolutely stunning — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It truly felt like a luxury experience.
The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
The food was very good, with a great selection and quality, and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even better.
Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great amenities, and excellent service. I would happily return!

Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!

GGuest UserThe Underwater Garden Resort has a unique location on the Baquit Island only 10 minutes boat trip to Coron .Foots in the water! Boatshuttle in hotelrate includet.
Very quiet at night and dayover only some boats passing at a good distance.
The restaurant is OK with place for improvement.
Fishh-Sinigang and grilled fish are delicious. The personell is very gentle, kiind and attentive. They are trying to improve and learn everyday.

Staff are extremely polite and friendly - always saying hello.
Pool are is great with ample swimming locations and sunbeds.
Food is to be expected at a hotel both in terms of price and quality.
Town is too far away to walk, but ample tricycles to take you.
Biggest let down for us was the water pressure - every time we had a shower, there would be no pressure and would need to contact front desk for maintenance to do something to the pump. Every time.
After the 4th complaint they really should’ve moved us to another room. We were on level4.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is quiet and well-located outside Coron City, right by the mangroves, and surprisingly mosquito-free.
There's a magnificent pier with a bar, perfect for enjoying the sunsets in the late afternoon. From this pier, private island hopping cruises depart for Coron Island – a magical experience I highly recommend.
The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious.
There's a large pool, though the water was a bit cloudy. The main restaurant serves a breakfast buffet. The poolside bar/snack area offers excellent ice cream. There's also a pizzeria restaurant by the mangroves, plus a Japanese restaurant.
Evening entertainment is offered several times a week.
Airport transfers are available for 350 pesos per person. Transfers to Coron City or tuk-tuks are readily available right outside the hotel.

GGuest UserStunning Republic was located in a prime area right off the beach. Our checkin was smooth and our 5 day stay was great. We were a large group of 13 people. Breakfast and food overall at the hotel was decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negative (not the hotels fault) was the very poor reception quality across El Nido. Overall, great stay!

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit far from town but always had tuktuks outside available to take you in. The pool was picturesque but the water a bit dirty as it's not a filter system. Still really fun to hang out by the pool! They had a Christmas Eve feast including a lechon roast and all of the food was amazing. The pool bar is cool, but they had run out of a lot of items during the Christmas holidays. They also had no scooters or motorbikes available to rent (again, holidays). I'd recommend!
