"The service is not good, the staff is very impatient.
The lobby and other public areas are closed at 11 o'clock, and friends are not allowed to use them even if they need to make a conference call, so the telephones in the corridor and the room will affect other guests.
The heating is not turned on at night, and it is not turned on after complaints.
The English breakfast set is OK. The restaurant also closes on time at 9:30."
CchenkeValue for money indeed. Never expect such a spacious and well-refurbished room at such an amazing price. Would recommend it to anyone who visit Exeter since it’s located exactly at the city centre and within 10 or 15 minutes walk from both railway stations.
GGuest UserGreat stop-off to Cornwall, Topsham is a nice town just outside Exeter with good amenities. This pub is friendly, rooms are clean and well-appointed.
MMelo7or15A hotel near the city center of Exeter, very classical but elegant, the keys are physical, the breakfast is great, the environment in the room is also very comfortable, there is a chance to come again
GGuest UserWe booked our stay back in September and arrived yesterday just before 2pm. We were told our rooms wouldn’t be ready until 2pm, which was fine, but when we asked if we could leave our luggage, we were informed it would cost £5 per room to store it.
At 2.25pm we returned to check in, only to be told again that the rooms still weren’t ready—yet suddenly we were offered luggage storage for free. Another receptionist then mentioned that one of our rooms was available, so we were able to leave all our bags there, which we appreciated.
As for the room itself: the carpet was heavily stained, and both the beds and the flooring were very creaky. The bathroom, however, was spotless.
On day two, we raised our concerns with the reception manager, who allowed us to store our bags free of charge. While this was helpful, the overall experience didn’t give us a great first impression of the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the station, so it was not difficult even with my carrier. The hotel staff was very friendly and tried to provide me with good service. The hotel room was nice, but the shared bathroom was inconvenient. Of course, there weren't many guests and it wasn't crowded, so I didn't have any inconvenience in using the bathroom, but it was a little inconvenient to have to leave the room to use the bathroom. Other than that, the hotel breakfast was good, and everything else was good.

It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.
