SShangshanruoshui buwangchuxinThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from the beach and next to Europa Square, making it convenient for exploring the old town. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast is quite good. Excellent value for money!

AAnonymous UserLe Méridien Batumi, Batumi's most luxurious hotel, charges nearly 2,000 yuan per night, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing. First, the room's soundproofing was extremely poor. On our check-in night, from around midnight until after 2 a.m., the noise from the square below and the disco music were clearly audible in the room, severely disrupting our rest. Second, the service promises were unfulfilled. After negotiating with the hotel through the platform, they promised to upgrade us to two rooms on the other side of the building the next day. However, upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon, we were told that only one upgraded room was available, and the hotel offered no apology. Furthermore, housekeeping was extremely perfunctory. After the room was cleaned, not only were new floor towels and slippers not provided, but the balcony ashtray still contained trash from the previous night. After repeated requests, the slippers were finally delivered, but they were of extremely poor quality, falling apart immediately after use, and completely different from the authentic slippers with the hotel logo provided on our first night. Such poor hardware and service levels hardly justify its ”luxury” positioning and exorbitant room rates. We can't help but wonder: On what basis did Ctrip use to rate such an unworthy hotel as ”No. 1 on the Batumi Luxury List”?

Ddr_sabinaWe stayed at the hotel from April 11th to 14th, 2026, as a couple. The hotel is a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport (taxi fare is 7 Lari, approximately 210 rubles). You can call Yandex Taxi. The administrators at the hotel speak Russian. They explained everything clearly, gave us two keys, and showed us to our room. The room was very spacious, like a full one-bedroom apartment, with plenty of storage. Our room had a balcony with a sea view. It was a corner balcony, but you could still see the sea. We were on the 21st floor. There are many elevators, so you don't have to wait. The elevators are fast and smooth. The bathroom had a water heater, so there were no issues with hot water. There was plenty of water for two people. The electric towel dryer in the bathroom was super – the bathroom wasn't cold, and there was no dampness. One night it was cool, so we turned on the air conditioning for heat, and the room was perfect. There's a refrigerator and a safe. Besides the large, comfortable double bed, there's also an armchair that converts into a bed, if needed. There's a TV with many channels, and the quality is good. Definitely book a room with meals included! You won't regret it at all. The hotel has a restaurant. In the morning, you go up for breakfast, and they offer 6 menu options to choose from. The menu is substantial, and the presentation is like a restaurant! It's sooooo delicious. I had breakfast #3: croissant with spinach, scrambled eggs, vegetable salad, and casserole. Coffee, orange juice, tea, and milk are unlimited. Overall, the restaurant is excellent. The food is tasty. However, it's not cheap. Khinkali is about 2 Lari per piece, and you can order a minimum of 5. Khachapuri on a skewer is 20 Lari. Pork shashlik is about 40 Lari for 390g (but they gave us many pieces with bones! That was unpleasant). Typically, our average dinner bill came out to around 80 Lari without alcohol. Hotel guests get a 10% discount on the restaurant menu. We often ordered takeout (the 10% discount also applied) and ate everything in our room. This was because we bought wine for our room (wine in the restaurant was x2 the price). Plus, it was convenient to have dinner in the room right after a shower and then relax in bed. The sea is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The promenade is wide, long, and clean. Be prepared for many stray dogs in Batumi, but they are all friendly. We almost always traveled by taxi, calling Yandex, even though the city is quite small and everything is very close by. There are many currency exchange offices near the hotel. For the most part, all exchange offices have a similar rate. There's a Spar supermarket near the hotel, and many other shops a bit further away. There's also a large shopping mall across the street. The hotel is quiet. There are no rowdy or noisy guests. I want to specifically highlight the staff. They are wonderful people. Thank you to them! Very polite. I especially want to mention the administrator (a young man, I regret not remembering his name). He helped us buy tickets to Tbilisi. We couldn't pay for the tickets with our own card, and he bailed us out by paying with his own card. That was simply fantastic, a huge thank you to him. The room is cleaned every day, but we hung the 'do not disturb' sign because it was already clean. We were only there for 3 days. The towels are clean and fluffy. The bed linen is clean. There are two pillows per person on the bed. The pillows are good. The mattress is medium-firm, just how I like it. You can't feel the springs. Outside, you might encounter male beggars (Georgians). They seem to start a polite conversation with you, saying 'gamarjoba', asking where you're from, etc., engaging you in conversation, and then they ask for money. Any banknotes will do for them. I don't know if they bother women as much, but they often cornered my husband. They'll literally reach out to shake hands, and that's how it starts. We always said we had just arrived, had money on our card, and hadn't had a chance to exchange it yet. Also, be careful with Georgians selling excursions. As you walk past them, they'll speak to you in almost a commanding tone, telling you that you *must* go on an excursion with them. Just smile and pretend you don't understand anything, or that you've just arrived and aren't planning to go anywhere yet, haven't planned anything, etc. Conclusion: I definitely recommend booking this hotel. The staff is super, breakfasts are excellent, everything is clean, fresh, wonderful, and the view is good. You will not regret it at all. Don't hesitate, book this place!

NNATAMIKIThe location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Old Batumi. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and homely; the moment you step inside, you instantly feel cared for and experience genuine hospitality. The owner personally greets guests, and at breakfast, complimentary homemade white and red wine is served, along with watermelons, melons, and khachapuri – there's always plenty of everything. You don't feel like you're staying in a hotel; rather, you feel like you're visiting friends. And breakfast on the terrace? That's a whole different story – better than any observation deck!

BbellavaThe hotel is located in the old town. The location is excellent!! The rooms are relatively large and clean, the breakfast is normal, but monotonous, nothing has changed for 3 days, and cappuccino coffee is available for an additional fee... The SPA and pool are terrible (I took the hotel only because of the SPA) VERY DISAPPOINTED!! The pool is small and the water is cold, stuffy and unpleasant!!! When we checked in, there were no towels, and when we asked they said only an hour later🤔 There were three of us and they brought everything for two!!! (towels, water, shampoo, slippers, etc.) In general, the impression was not pleasant, for that kind of money you could have rented something more decent... I will never recommend it to my friends!!!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach, but there's basically no service. No one helped with luggage when I checked in. The room was very small, and there were no toothbrushes provided. It took over half an hour to send one over the phone. The front desk was interrupting me the entire time I checked in and was not very friendly. The hotel looks high-rise, but it actually has only five floors. The windows of the single-numbered rooms on the first floor face the wall, so you can't see the sun during the day. The breakfast is very average. Don't consider this hotel when you come to Batumi. It's not cost-effective.

SSaumyaleo31We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

Ccharles56It's good value for money, it's close to the beach, the nearby park is good for walking, and there's a bus stop close to the hotel, so it's great for getting around the city center. It was a shame that I couldn't use the swimming pool, but I was satisfied with the sauna facilities and the variety of breakfast options.
