Batumi Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Le Méridien Batumi, Batumi's most luxurious hotel, charges nearly 2,000 yuan per night, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing. First, the room's soundproofing was extremely poor. On our check-in night, from around midnight until after 2 a.m., the noise from the square below and the disco music were clearly audible in the room, severely disrupting our rest. Second, the service promises were unfulfilled. After negotiating with the hotel through the platform, they promised to upgrade us to two rooms on the other side of the building the next day. However, upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon, we were told that only one upgraded room was available, and the hotel offered no apology. Furthermore, housekeeping was extremely perfunctory. After the room was cleaned, not only were new floor towels and slippers not provided, but the balcony ashtray still contained trash from the previous night. After repeated requests, the slippers were finally delivered, but they were of extremely poor quality, falling apart immediately after use, and completely different from the authentic slippers with the hotel logo provided on our first night. Such poor hardware and service levels hardly justify its ”luxury” positioning and exorbitant room rates. We can't help but wonder: On what basis did Ctrip use to rate such an unworthy hotel as ”No. 1 on the Batumi Luxury List”?"

"I have spent there 4 days. Check-in 15:00, rather late. Check-out until 11:00, its early, be ready for that as well. The apartments are on the 4th floor of the Steps building. I have arrived by plane. The time to get from the airport to the apartments building is about 40 minutes by foot. Or you may take a bus, though its unclear to me how you may pay it the bus without Batumi card that I had. The weather was rainy about 75% of time. Its a typical winter in Batumi. The wifi was working in apartments well. The cleaning done was every day or at least you are asked whether you need that or not. You need to wait quite some time until hot water at the shower starts. Due to bad weather my plane was postponed. The host did not help me with dealing with it, he just wanted to take 30$ whilst we agreed previously on 13$ by 1 more night by phone. So I had to figure out my new plane ticket and leave in a hurry."

"The hotel is wonderful. The grounds and building are aesthetically beautiful. We had a triple room with a fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle. The hotel offered us breakfast, and it was excellent and varied. My youngest child is a picky eater, and they would ask her what she wanted and prepare it according to her wishes. The hotel's location is excellent, situated between the city center and the botanical garden. It's 5 Lari (150 rubles) by taxi to the center, and 5 Lari to the botanical garden, next to which there's a pristine beach with few people. On the beach, a sun lounger costs 5 Lari and an umbrella 10 Lari for the whole day. The water was like warm milk. There are restaurants nearby, and close to the hotel itself, you'll find a Spar supermarket and a pharmacy. Everything is conveniently located. The hotel also has a small pool. On our last day, before our train, we didn't go to the sea, and the kids had fun in the pool instead. In short, I recommend it... It's a quiet, peaceful area, and the sea is only 300 meters away. A superb place. The hotel is new, everything is spotless, and the hosts are hospitable. The bed linen was so new and clean it practically crackled. Check-in time was 3 PM, but we arrived at 1 PM and were checked in without any problems. Check-out time was 12 PM, but our train wasn't until 4:40 PM. We were allowed to stay until 3:30 PM. "The hotel has a family couple, very pleasant and nice people, hospitality, ready to help with any question. Very clean hotel, perfectly decorated rooms. Excellent breakfasts, everything you need is present, fresh vegetables, eggs, sausages. Location close to the airport, which is very convenient. There is a backyard on the territory with a good pool and lying. The hosts speak Russian. The rooms have everything necessary. I recommend"

"Отель в целом нам очень понравился. Находиться в старом Батуми , красивые улочки , рядом в пешей доступности , все достопримечательность. Единственное сначала нас заселили в номер 421 , там было очень шумно ночью спать и кондиционер очень сильно гудел , попросили поменять нам номер на более тихий , нам сразу поменяли . В целом шумоизоляция на 3 , в номере было слышно как сливаешься воду на этаже выше. Очень вкусные завтраки, есть и рыбы и разновидность сыров , хамон. Можно попросить сделать скрэмбл или глазунью . Бассейн большой , теплый и чистый , а вид с него прекрасный . Попросили утюг и доску гладильную , принесли в номер .Отель однозначно рекомендую."

"Хороший новый отель с бассейном, расположен недалеко от аэропорта и посёлка Гонио, где есть старинная крепость и хороший пляж с чистой водой (на такси минут 10-15). Напротив же самого отеля расположена длинная городская набережная - неособо для купания, но ней приятно прогуляться с утра. В отеле хорошие завтраки. И овощи и фрукты и йогурта и выпечка, кофе натуральный. Персонал вежливый, говорит по-русски. Номер дали с видом на бассейн и море, за что отдельное спасибо. В номере есть все необходимое, включая халаты. До центра города на такси от отеля можно доехать за 10 минут, такси недорогое."
