The room decor is modern and minimalist, with luxurious flooring, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and excellent soundproofing. After a busy day, you can get a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities are meticulously chosen, featuring a marble countertop, a separate shower, stable and abundant water pressure, and high-quality toiletries for a comfortable washing experience. The mini-bar setup was a pleasant surprise, with a retro kettle and a mini-fridge stocked with drinks and ice glasses. The attention to detail is remarkable, giving it a very homey feel, so even a long stay wouldn't feel monotonous. The buffet breakfast offers both local Laotian flavors and Western simple meals. The taste is authentic, the dishes are exquisitely presented, and you can freely combine items as needed to start your morning full of energy. The hotel's security management is rigorous, with standardized entry and exit procedures. During a business trip to Vientiane, a sense of security in accommodation is particularly important, and I felt completely at ease during my stay. I had a very good stay at their hostel. Accommodating and very easy going. The staff of both the hostel and the cafe are friendly and warm— always smiling. The location is pretty accessible as well, as it's near the main road. And all that for a very affordable price. Highly recommended. 10/10 would definitely be my go to place if I come back to Vientiane.

The room was a bit small but perfect for a solo traveler. The bedding was very comfortable, with a charming French floral pattern, and the curtains were lovely too. The flowers and plants in the garden were just right. Check-in was smooth, and all the male staff were very friendly. On our last day, they even helped us contact the driver when we were taking a taxi. Compared to the room and surroundings, breakfast was a bit disappointing and somewhat basic. A lady at our table ordered the wrong thing, and when the food finally arrived, there wasn't much of it. Oh well, we were planning to go out for coffee and pastries anyway. I originally chose this hotel because of the black and white checkered tablecloths in the restaurant. Overall, the value for money isn't exceptionally high, but if you like an authentic French style, this could be a good choice.

I have to say, the service quality, staff professionalism, and overall environment here are truly top-notch! Plus, you can enjoy beautiful views right from your room. Staying at the Athens Hotel elevated my satisfaction with this trip to a whole new level.

Clean and good quality hotel. On the downside, the air conditioning let a large puddle of water inside when it started to rain outside. At breakfast, where we arrived half an hour before it was due to end, the hot food had run out. The picture shows all the protein I could find in the thermal bath. There wasn't even an omelet or eggs available in the open kitchen.

Not bad, pretty much as expected.

Everything about this hotel was great, from the service to the friendliness of the staff. I especially liked that there's a convenience store on the first floor where you can buy Korean food, alcohol, cigarettes, and most daily necessities. The only downside is that it's about a 30-minute drive from the tourist area and Vientiane's main downtown spots. Aside from the location, everything else was top-notch.

The breakfast was well-balanced, including whole grains and protein. When I had some free time, I was able to relax and de-stress in the huge swimming pool. This hotel is perfect for both business travelers and short stays.

This hotel is decent. It's a bit far from the night market, but only a 10-15 minute walk to Independence Gate. The service, however, was quite poor. Trip.com guaranteed a late checkout, and I even confirmed it with the front desk beforehand. Yet, when I went to check out, they still insisted on charging me an additional $30. Very disappointing.
