"Exceptionally clean room, especially for SE Asia standards. Comfy bed too! Plugs at either side of the bed, always a bonus Location is average - it’s closeby to the night markets and 10 minute walk to the Mekong but it’s not nearby other tourist attractions like Patuxai or the temples Breakfast service was great - the staff were lovely and omelette/toast and fresh fruit was nice Room has tissues, shampoo and body wash, working air conditioner and a fan. Overall would recommend if you stay in Vientiane. There’s a lovely coffee shop called Raw just down the the street for your morning coffee to"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, next to French Street, the night market, and the Mekong River. All the attractions are within walking distance, and the popular shopping spots are also nearby, with the furthest being about a 10-minute walk. The hotel breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the noodles are incredibly smooth and tasty. The staff are very service-minded and super friendly. The only minor drawback was the low water pressure in the bathroom and the hairdryer being a bit heavy. Oh, and the toiletries smell really nice!"

"We had a wonderful experience at the Riverside Hotel. The check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and the staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. They kindly helped us with our luggage, which made everything even more comfortable. The room was modern, spotless, and very well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept very well during our stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of Western, Lao, and other Asian dishes. There was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and delicious. We also really appreciated the hotel’s location, conveniently situated near the night market, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The location is good, right next to Bank of China and Parkson shopping mall, and the price is reasonable. However, the hygiene is a bit lacking; the paint is peeling off the walls. What's worse, the first room they gave me had cockroaches 🪳 crawling everywhere. They did move me to another room, but I was still pretty freaked out."

I regularly travel to Vientiane, so I’m quite familiar with the common challenges faced by large hotels here—especially when it comes to staff quality, which often doesn’t match the standards of big hotels in other countries. However, this hotel is making a noticeable effort to address that issue. While it’s not perfect yet, you can still clearly feel the luxury and overall standard of the property. In terms of cleanliness, aesthetics, and organization, there’s nothing to complain about. The hotel maintains a solid 5-star standard. The property feels very new, and it comes with modern technology—USB-C ports and wireless charging are available in the rooms. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Similar to the staffing issue, many large hotels here tend to struggle with maintaining consistent food quality. But here, everything passes—taste, ingredients, and variety are all on point. It feels comparable to staying at Holiday Inn properties in Thailand, which are known for their high standards."

"This hotel is great for location and value for you money. We stayed here more than 3 weeks and enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The room is small. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has soap and shampoo and hot water is good. The free breakfast is okay, but you can purchase a full breakfast if you wish. The laundry service is reasonable. You can also buy bus tickets here too. Everything is in walking distance, food night market, Amazon café, Mini C supermarket, restaurants and ATMs. I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay here again when in Laos 🇱🇦"

"This hotel is practically brand new, having just opened in January. The facilities are excellent, and both the manager and front desk staff are incredibly kind and genuine. The front desk even taught us how to order takeout, though we didn't end up using it in the end – apparently, only Mixue Ice Cream was available at the time. 😂 The manager's recommendation for Khop Chai Deu was absolutely spot on. The hotel pool is a great photo op. Airport transfers are handled by a small minibus. Of course, the free self-service laundry, a well-known feature of the All Seasons chain, is also available. However, in the evenings, I often saw what were likely freeloaders with two suitcases, three laundry baskets, and occupying three dryer slots – some local residents. I really hope the hotel can manage this better."

"I had a really pleasant stay overall and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the value. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The woman at reception was so kind and made check-in feel easy and comfortable, which I really appreciated after traveling. The property itself is beautiful—the pool area is a standout. It’s well-designed, relaxing, and honestly one of my favorite parts of the stay. The room was also a great size, with plenty of space to feel comfortable without feeling cramped. Also it was an 8 -12 minute ride to the airport (depending on the time of day) which made it super easy to get to. There are also a lot of good food options nearby. I found myself going back to one restaurant, The White Elephant, multiple times—it had a great vibe, good music, food, and drinks. Breakfast was included at the hotel and had a mix of Asian and Western options—things like eggs, toast, fruit, and juices. It was simple but did the job. If you're someone looking for a more customizable or traditional Western breakfast (like bacon, made-to-order eggs, etc.), you might want to go out, but I found it perfectly sufficient. One morning they even had a pasta dish that was surprisingly delicious. The only area for improvement would be cleanliness. The shower door looked like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned in a while, and I noticed some staining on the mattress pad under the sheets. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s something that could easily be improved and would make a big difference. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. The staff, the pool, and the location made it a great experience, and I would absolutely consider staying again."

"Hotel is so close to airport around 7 mins walk plus the ambiance of hotel was fantastic. It's clean and beautiful old hotel. Carpet was annoying with luggage but other than that enjoyed my stay. They have free shuttle service and breakfast which is good. Also It's conveniently located close to restaurant and grocery stores. Highly recommended if looking for a place to stay for an early flight back home."
