Panama District Hotels with Bars

All in one good hotel, people are friendly, the location is good, breakfast is OK. The shower was not cleaned during our stay, you see that on the hair on the wall. The temperature in the restaurant is too low, as in the US (sensitive 16 degrees). I don't understand why you can't adjust the wellness temperature (20-23 degrees). But this is rather a general problem, as they have looked at the Americans.

I would give this hotel an average rating. The interior decor of the lobby was strange and they kept the lobby and the floor hallways so cold that even the desk staff and other employees had to wear jackets. It was very uncomfortable coming in off the streets to such a cold environment. When asked of the numerous reception desk receptionists throughout the day why they kept it so cold that they had to wear jackets, they said they didn't know. I ended up getting a chest cold from the cold environment. My bed was comfortable, so I will give the hotel a 5 on that. But the room was noisy from both the outside and from the hallways. I had to twice tell the housekeeping to turn down their walkie talkie radios. Breakfast was about the same everyday. Nothing to write home about. I will say the fruit was delicious but everything else was ok. Not much selection. I had to have maintenance come and repair the hand towel holder that was just glued on the tile and fell off my first day. Took two days and numerous requests at the front desk for them to come and repair it. The maintenance man did properly install it this time using a drill and screw instead of glue. I will not stay at this hotel again as there are so many to choose from in this area.

Room was nice and comfortable though carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time. Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.   Other than that the facility was nice I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person.  I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar. I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket

Hotel design, cleanliness and location. The hotel is conveniently located in the financial district with many dining options nearby, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel's rooftop pool and gym are popular with guests, providing a nice view of the city.

The hotel location is very good , very close to the main places in the city , so is easy to move around . The hotel room is ok , is big and spacious and the furniture is new . The hotel decoration is alright just like a normal holiday inn hotel , looks more for a business trip . It has a nice swimming pool on the top of the building too . The only problem I saw is that because of eco friendly tiles there are no water bottles at the room , there is free water tanks and the lobby so to drink you need to drink at the lobby , or take water from outside the hotel , but there are no shops close to the hotel , so you need to pay a higher price for the hotel vending machine or just drink water at lobby , I was thirsty the whole stay haha . But I recommend it for business people

After a traumatic stay at a hotel in Santo Domingo, my friend and I decided to book a reputable hotel in Panama. And we’re very happy that we did. We felt very comfortable during our stay and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel stands out for its location right on the Panama Canal. You can rent bicycles nearby, and there are also a few nice restaurants and bars—some with views of the canal, which is really great. Of course, it’s less suitable if you’re looking to go shopping, but for experiencing Panama Canal Area which is impressive,I think it’s excellent. The hotel is a bit dated, including the staff and overall operations. There are many guests, which can sometimes lead to bottlenecks. However, overall, the value for money is still good.

Stayed 2 nights, hotel and room normal. In front of the hotel there is Av. Balboa, busy day and night, so you can hear a bit of noise. During our stay there was construction work behind the hotel, so the pool (which is small for those who want to swim 7/7 m) is not nice to use because of the loud noise. The breakfast does not offer much choice and with products not at the level of a hotel of this rating. For the price I paid the quality/price ratio was OK, but I saw that it can also cost up to CHF 50.00 more per night. We will return to Panama City at the end of our tour of the country, but not to the Méridien. Kind and competent staff, good WI-FI.

Very nice hotel in the center of Ciudad de Panama. 5 star breakfast, very good variety and choice, nice and big restaurant indoor and outdoor, very good service. Nice big pool area, gym..nothing fancy but it was good enough for us..sauna..big nice room..good value for money

The rooms are spacious, I got one like this, not all the rooms have a working safe, I had to move, they write that there is a safe, and then look up in surprise. I read in the reviews that the air conditioner was noisy, it hums like a turbine, I have never seen such air conditioners before, it is fixed at the bottom, square, the fan can be heard even behind the door, it is a problem to fall asleep. The staff is normal, France Square is nearby, it is beautiful, it is easy to get to the Panama Canal, there is trade right on the street around, I like it. There is a good cafe-canteen about 200 meters away, you move with a tray, you see the prepared food and show what to put on it, it is important when you do not know the language, there are first and second courses, inexpensive, tasty.
