"1-Star Review This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty, extremely worn out, and the air conditioning was barely functioning. Cleanliness throughout the property was very poor, and many areas looked neglected and in need of serious maintenance. I was only there for one night, thankfully. The overall hygiene standards were so concerning that I did not feel comfortable eating at the buffet because I was genuinely worried about getting food poisoning. The resort is very large and spacious, but it has only two relatively small pools for a huge number of guests, making the facilities feel overcrowded. What I cannot understand is how this hotel is rated as a 5-star property. Based on my experience, it does not deserve even 1 star. The condition of the rooms, lack of cleanliness, and poor maintenance made this a very disappointing stay. A truly terrible experience and, in my opinion, a potential health hazard. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and choosing another option in Punta Cana."

"Honestly had such a lovely stay here and it is seriously good value for the price. The staff are so friendly and just genuinely nice to talk to, and the rooms are massive with loads of space to spread out. Pool area is super clean and well kept too. Food was surprisingly good with a really nice mix of local Dominican dishes and European stuff, and the cocktails actually tasted decent rather than just being pure syrup. Would definitely go back."

"Came here for vacation at the wrong time of the year, there were not many people, and the overall feeling was very good. Although the building facilities are a bit old, they are still in good condition overall. The beach is so beautiful. All-inclusive (drinks, meals, snacks) on call, it feels great! The only regret is that the Japanese restaurant provided by the hotel is actually a Caribbean-style restaurant (not an authentic Japanese restaurant). As for the BUFFET or French restaurant, they are both good. There is also a LIVE SHOW at 9 o'clock every night, but it is a bit outdated. Overall, the vacation experience is very enjoyable!"

"This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach. There are about 5 specialty restaurants that open at night, but require reservations—I ate at Fogo and it was delicious. During the day, there’s a buffet snack bar, coffee shop, and icecream bar available, plus a sports bar that’s open 24/7. In the evenings, the lobby has entertainment, including shows and a DJ. Theres a trolly that comes every few minutes to take you around the resort if you don’t want to walk. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful wildlife roaming the resort and the amazing service staff—most were very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining. There’s also a snack buffet there that overlooks the beach, so you can enjoy a nice breeze while you eat. I traveled Solo. My only downside was the rooms. They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock. All 3 rooms weren’t very clean mainly the bathrooms. Im not a picky person so By the third room I had both locked doors and ac, so I just went with it lol. On the positive side, they did upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated. I did feel like some of the front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, beautiful place to unwind with family or enjoy a laid-back vacation."

"It's an almost 5-star hotel. The most positive thing is the super friendly staff, with that super cheerful vibe. The hotel's maintenance is super good, with only a few minor details like the public restrooms that require general maintenance, but not cleaning. The food is what I think could be improved a bit more, apart from the Toro restaurant, which was high quality. The food is good but not excellent. We visited all the restaurants and they were all good. I don't have anything negative about the hotel. The bad thing for us was the beach, which was impossible to swim in, with too many waves. Children can't even play on the shore, which is extremely dangerous. We even managed to see a person drowning, and thanks to the lifeguards, they were able to revive the person. The rooms are quite comfortable and large. If you're not interested in buying a property, don't agree to go to the point-based talk because you'll lose half your morning. And with the vendors on the beaches, you'll find better prices. But if you're just looking for a pool and nightlife with nightclubs, casinos, and theaters, this is the perfect hotel. If you're just looking for the beach, this isn't the hotel for you, although a 20-minute walk along the shore will take you to quiet beaches."

"I felt there was a real lack of information regarding the schedules for attractions like archery and beach volleyball, which didn't seem to have set times. The pool dive also lacked a specific schedule. The worst part for me, though, was the bathroom in the room. The resort and the room itself are wonderful, but the bathroom is very cramped and there aren't enough mats on the floor to dry yourself. The toilet takes forever to refill after flushing, and the faucets for the shower, sink, and jacuzzi are very old and constantly leaking. Aside from that, the stay and food were excellent. The staff are incredibly welcoming and cheerful, which really enhanced our stay, except for the baristas who only seemed lively during parties or when they were getting cash tips (I understand, but it's annoying). Overall, a great stay!"
