Find Beach resorts in Munich

"Located in northern Munich, the surrounding area is decent. While not in the bustling city center, it's relatively quiet. It has its own parking lot, which feels safer. You need to check in first to get your room key, which then grants access to the parking gate. The entrance to the parking lot is a bit narrow, but there are plenty of spaces inside."

"This hotel boasts excellent transport links, being super close to HBF Central Station and right next to DM. I booked a day tour and found that many tour buses depart from a hotel just over 100 meters away, making it very convenient for catching those day trip coaches. The hotel lobby offers complimentary fruit daily; I grabbed an apple every day, along with some candies. The rooms don't have bathtubs, and the beds are quite small, with two beds basically pushed together. The mattress firmness was just right, and the pillow height suited me well. There's a Nespresso capsule coffee machine with 8 capsules, replenished daily, and six tea bags, which is nice – I particularly enjoyed the ginger tea. The environment is clean and hygienic, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. This was a pleasant surprise, especially after staying in Nuremberg later and finding no facial tissues there! The sound insulation of the windows is decent; while it gets quite noisy when open due to the electric trains right by the station, the train sounds at night didn't bother me or affect my sleep. I must say, the breakfast is excellent, with a fantastic variety and delicious options. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM, the front desk informed me that early check-in, usually after 3 or 4 PM in European hotels, would cost dozens of euros. I figured the price was acceptable, so I checked in early. But then, at my next hotel in Nuremberg, I arrived at 12 PM and was allowed to check in without any extra charge when I asked if early check-in was possible. So, it's not really comparable! The hotel offers free Wi-Fi with good speed. They also provide a complimentary bottle of mineral water daily, which is a great perk as water in Europe can be quite expensive, around 20 RMB per bottle."

"The hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area with just a 10 min walk to Nordfriedhof station and also nearby tram station. The breakfast buffer spread is great, my favorites are salmon + horseradish and croissant. Extensive selection of beverages from juices, coffee, tea and milk. The room provides nice bedding with comfortable pillows and the toilet is spacious."

"This hotel is conveniently located near the S-Bahn station, making it easy to get to both the city center and the exhibition grounds. The breakfast is a typical continental spread with a good variety of coffee and drinks, which is great for business travelers."

"The hotel environment is very comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable. The facilities are well-maintained and feel brand new. The staff are warm and attentive, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The amenities are comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. It's perfect for both short trips and business stays, highly recommended."

"Facilities: Just a standard Holiday Inn Express. Hygiene: The cleanliness was acceptable. Environment: The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, not ideal, but we chose it mainly for the convenient parking. Service: The hotel breakfast was decent. As for other services, there's not much to speak of. The middle-aged Middle Eastern man at the front desk was quite unhelpful. He initially overcharged us for two nights of parking, and after a strong argument, we finally got a refund for one night from the supervisor. Overall, as a Holiday Inn Express, don't expect too much. The parking situation was just okay."

"The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many shops, making dining and shopping convenient. However, the surrounding area can be a bit noisy and chaotic. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, but the shower only had a half-door, so water easily spilled out – a common issue in German hotels. The hotel breakfast was 26 Euros per person, and the quality was just average, not great value for money. I'd recommend skipping the hotel breakfast; there are plenty of dining options outside. Overall, it's a good hotel, but a slightly lower price would make it more appealing."

"I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn, and the staff were professional, friendly, and well trained. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and there are plenty of choices for breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a solo traveller. I was able to fully open a 28-inch suitcase on the floor without any issues. The hotel’s cleanliness was excellent, and I especially appreciated the handwritten welcome card on the bed, which made the stay feel more personal and welcoming. All the coffee and drinks provided on the table were complimentary. The shower had strong water pressure, and the water temperature remained stable throughout my stay. If you’re staying for multiple nights, note that housekeeping is only provided upon request (free of charge). The staff will ask for your preference during check-in, which I found to be a thoughtful and environmentally friendly approach. The hotel is not located in the city centre or near Marienplatz, but getting there is easy. Tram No. 19 is just a short walk away, and after six stops, you’ll reach the Old Town. If you prefer taking the S-Bahn, Leuchtenbergring Station is located directly opposite the hotel. However, be aware that the station is only accessible via stairs, so if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage, this is something to consider. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service, cleanliness, and convenient public transport connections."

"This business trip felt less satisfying than previous ones. Perhaps it was too busy, with too many guests. The water wasn't very hot, and my colleague's room only had cold water. Breakfast also got more expensive; it costs over 20 euros if purchased separately. On the bright side, the nearby DM and Lidl supermarkets are very convenient, and the Yanyu Chinese restaurant near Harras subway station has delicious food."

"It was a nice place to stay. The room was a little small for 3 people and the airconditioner not too effective. Though the breakfast was nice. Overall, it is good for a 2-3 day stay."
