"Lovely staff that could help and give tips. Nice location related to transport for further exploration of the city. The aircondition was a environment friendly cooling system, it works but it isn’t as powerful as the normal aircon and was a bit confusing at first."

"The location was one of its biggest strengths for us. The hotel is only one bus stop away from Munich Messe, or about a five-minute drive if you're coming by car. For anyone attending an exhibition or event there, it makes the early mornings and long days feel much more manageable. Another thing that stood out was just how clean and well maintained the hotel felt. You could tell that some parts of the property, such as the carpets, had been there for quite a few years, but they were looked after remarkably well. Rather than feeling worn, the hotel gave the impression of being carefully maintained and respected by the people running it. I also appreciated the little touches in the lobby. There were refreshments available for both adults and children—ice cream, cookies, and drinks—which added a welcoming atmosphere to the space. It was one of those simple gestures that makes a hotel feel more hospitable and less transactional. The gym being open 24 hours a day was another unexpected bonus. Whether arriving late after a long day or wanting an early workout before heading out, having that flexibility was genuinely useful. For those arriving by car, the free parking directly in front of the hotel was another convenience that shouldn't be underestimated, especially around Munich where parking can quickly become expensive or complicated. The only less positive part of our stay was an interaction at the front desk. One of the gentlemen working there came across as somewhat impatient and a little abrupt. To be fair, the hotel was fully booked during our visit, and it was easy to imagine that the workload and constant stream of guests might have been contributing factors. Still, it stood out slightly against what was otherwise a very positive experience."

"The hotel has a really excellent location – central and ideal for excursions. The service was also very good, the staff always friendly and helpful. I was around satisfied and would book the hotel at any time."

"Pros: Great location—10-min walk to the train station and a big mall. Clean, comfortable room with a nice bathroom and tea/coffee machine. Checkout was quick and easy. Cons: Check-in was slow—arrived at 1:45pm but room wasn't ready until 3pm. Understaffed front desk with long queues. Only one complimentary water bottle for 2 nights, fridge wasn't plugged in, and pillows were too flat. No phone directory to call reception, which was frustrating. Breakfast costs €21 and includes omelet station. Verdict: Decent for business if you're patient, but don't expect 4-star service."

"We arrived very late past midnight and were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member, which was a great start. However, throughout the rest of our stay, we felt the overall welcome could have been warmer, especially when passing the front desk each day. A lovely surprise was the birthday card and small gift the hotel prepared for my daughter — such a thoughtful touch and truly appreciated. The room was spotless and cosy, with extremely comfortable beds. We also appreciated the more compact towels, which fit well with the hotel’s sustainability approach and were still perfectly comfortable for daily use. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Scandic München Macherei and would definitely consider returning."

"The rooms have air conditioning, but the restaurant wasn't open during breakfast. This place is perfect for those traveling by car, as the parking lot is quite spacious. The entrance and garden are adorned with beautiful hydrangeas, and opening the window in the room offers a lovely view of lush greenery. It's very comfortable. The room is quite large, and I particularly loved the small cabinet in front of the toilet, perfect for placing your phone – a very thoughtful design! In the evenings, the ground floor transforms into a lively and busy restaurant. It's ideal for guests attending exhibitions or on business trips. However, I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers arriving late at night and relying on the subway. The walk from the subway station to the hotel passes by three strip clubs (or what appeared to be, given the many bikini-clad women in photos). While the area is generally safe, and the other side is a business district, I admit I felt a little uneasy walking to the hotel by myself the first night. The next day, I opted for a taxi."

"I stayed for one night at HYPERION Hotel München for the first time and had a very pleasant experience. The reception team gave me a warm welcome upon arrival, and the overall environment was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The complimentary minibar was a nice surprise and added to the feeling of good service and value. The location is also very convenient, just a 3–5 min walk to the overground station, which takes you to the old town in about 20 mins. In the evening, I visited the hotel restaurant for some small bites and a beer. The staff there were extremely friendly and took the time to explain the menu clearly. I tried the currywurst, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and all of the staff really helped make the experience even more enjoyable."

"Good location. If it's nearer to central munich will be excellent. Aircon is not available and i guess it is due to the cold season. We have to leave the window open to sleep and because of the open window we can hear people talking loudly below. Cannot sleep comfortably because of that. The hotel is good and new. There are Muslim restaurants along the street so if you like kebabs or briyani rice there's no problem."
