Absolutely delighted with my stay! Stepping into the room, I was immediately greeted by the shimmering waves of West Lake right outside my window. The linen and towels had traceable chips ensuring their cleanliness, giving me complete peace of mind, and the silent air conditioning guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep. 

Our butler, Yajun, went above and beyond. Not only did she customize a cycling route around the lake for us, but she also thoughtfully brought us fresh fruit every day. She didn't just solve problems; she conveyed warmth. Through her, I witnessed the true essence of hospitality – professional and heartfelt. In this fast-paced world, she maintained a graceful composure and genuine thoughtfulness. Thank you for making every detail reflect such professional quality and sincere care. She listened patiently and responded precisely, understanding my needs like a true confidante. This level of meticulous care was truly invaluable.

The room was spotlessly clean, and all the facilities were well-equipped. The location is truly excellent! Especially the view from the 8th floor – it's simply stunning! Thank you for helping me have such a wonderful New Year!

The rooms were great.

Pros:
1. The roasted sweet potatoes at the entrance and the kind old man who roasted them for me truly won my heart. They smelled delicious, and guests could actually eat them. The design was unique and charming.
2. The lobby was beautiful and appropriately decorated.
3. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable.
4. The breakfast was delicious.
5. The staff, especially the front desk team, were all excellent. They were very friendly and kind. They really elevated the hotel experience. I particularly liked one lady at the front desk; she was just wonderful.
6. The courtyard and everything else were quite pretty. The mountain views were lovely. There was also a pavilion, a courtyard, and green spaces. Beautiful.
7. Most importantly, the value for money was genuinely high. This is a hotel I'd be willing to return to. The nearby hotels are overpriced and look good in photos, but when I stepped inside, their lobbies were tiny. This place felt noticeably grander, like a mountain resort, not some miniature guesthouse. Seven hundred a night felt like a real bargain. Please don't change this price; it's perfect.

Cons:
1. The toilet kept having flushing issues, which was quite embarrassing.
2. The lobby was beautiful, and I thought it would be a nice place to sit, but the proprietress of the lobby tea room was a bit judgy/odd (like those Shanghai cafe owners). Sitting there felt very uncomfortable, and everything was expensive. Why not set up a coffee shop where a cup costs 45? It felt utterly unreasonable to spend two or three hundred in the tea room in a lobby I'd already paid for.
3. The shampoo made my hair frizzy; it was really bad. Definitely don't use the shampoo here.
4. The light switches in the room were scattered all over the place, making them inconvenient and confusing to use. When I wanted to sleep, I had to get up and search for switches all over the room. Good hotels usually have a central system, like a bedside tablet to control all the lights.
5. The hallways were like a maze with so many rooms, making it difficult to find my way. It also felt a bit scary at night with no lights. It would be better to add more lights and signs.
6. Other hotels have delivery robots. Getting three of them wouldn't cost much.
7. The name is awkward, hard to pronounce, and hard to remember. The three-three-two tone sounds really strange when pronounced. Names like Atour, Ji Hotel, and Shangri-La are catchy. Orange Hotel and Crystal Orange feel tacky, like children's toys. This hotel's name is similar; I can never remember it. I only remember Xizi and Guobinguan.

Overall, though, I still really liked it. The aesthetics, design, value for money, and staff were excellent, although some of the facility designs were impractical. However, given the high value for money, I recommend staying here.

Zhejiang Hotel, a former palace of Lin Biao converted into an old-school hotel, surprisingly exceeded my expectations across the board. It's especially ideal for those looking to explore West Lake in depth.

The hotel is located in Mailing, on the inner side of West Lake, offering a quiet retreat away from the crowds. However, quiet doesn't mean inconvenient. Its location is right next to Maojiabu. Heading west will take you straight to Longjing Village; east directly to West Lake; north to Hangzhou Botanical Garden; and south, without any turns, to Manjuelong and Hupao. Essentially, it's at the heart of the inner West Lake and West Mountain scenic spots, with direct bus access. It perfectly balances tranquility and convenience.

The room was also a pleasant surprise. I booked using a 500-yuan-a-night package voucher, and the kind lady at the front desk upgraded me to an executive king room. It felt like a mini-suite, featuring an oversized bathroom, a fantastic bedroom, and a balcony overlooking the hotel's interior. The room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, with unique touches like vintage-style busts of historical figures and pull-chain lamps. I'd describe it as classy and tasteful. 👍

The hotel grounds themselves are quite expansive, boasting beautiful inner courtyards. Just strolling around the hotel felt like visiting a scenic attraction. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety and delicious flavors.

Overall, Zhejiang Hotel truly lives up to being named after a whole province. At 500 yuan a night, staying in a hotel like this is incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is in a small island and from the parking lot they will pick you up with a small cart. There are different kind of rooms depending on the price. We had the cheapest one but trip promised they will give us an upgrading and do they did. We got a bedroom and living room with balcony and nice view of the lake. Breakfast has many choices. It is nice to walk around the island but there is nothing else around. All three hotel restaurants are quite expensive.
There is also an outdoor and indoor pool.

Transportation is convenient, with a subway station nearby, but there aren't many snack and food options around. It's about a 10-minute walk to get to a more lively, bustling area. Getting a taxi and food delivery is incredibly convenient in Guangzhou.

The hotel has a high-end atmosphere. There is a faint fragrance in the lobby when you enter, and the music in the lobby is also very elegant. When you come to the front desk, the staff are all smiling, giving people a sense of intimacy. Brother Wang Bo reminds us to scan the parking ticket when we go out to park. The hotel has Charging station. After checking in, we found someone to help us carry our luggage to the room and press the elevator button. The room has a smart toilet and large floor-to-ceiling windows. The room can see the district government. The lighting is very good at night. Overall, the stay experience is very good.

The hotel room has a nice view.
but:
1. Although the hotel charging pile is 32V, the charging speed is extremely slow, half slower than 16V.
2. The hotel buffet breakfast has very few varieties! The noodles are only served with pickles and tomato scrambled eggs! The most unacceptable thing to me is that the milk in the hotel is actually made with sweet milk! I’m really sorry for the price of 799/night!
3. The fishing gear included in the package costs an additional 50 yuan for a set, and there is nothing else except afternoon tea. The same-day booking costs 700 and the package costs 799, so they are actually all paid for at your own expense?
The overall experience is not as good as a 3-400 express hotel!
Anyway I won’t come again!

The boss is super nice. Seeing that we brought our children, he upgraded us to a little yellow duck parent-child room for free. It was an unexpected surprise❤️Thank you very much🙏There are many beautiful photo spots in the B&B, especially at night🌃It is charming. The swimming pool water is very clean and crystal clear, which is perfect for children. The children's paradise can be played for half a day, and adults can take pictures, sing, sing and play mahjong. This year's New Year's Eve is here.
