This time, I stayed on the 4th floor. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, there was a strange, somewhat stinky smell, and the air purifier shown in the picture was running on full blast. When I opened the room door, a fishy smell hit me. Turning on the air conditioning on high helped alleviate it. I stayed for two nights, and on one occasion, I mistakenly went up to the 5th floor – there was no strange smell at all! I can't believe the hotel assigns rooms this way, it's unbelievable!

The toilet paper holder next to the toilet, as pictured, is positioned very awkwardly and bumps into your legs. It's not at all like a Japanese hotel. I've been to Japan many times, from old five-star hotels to rural motels, and this hotel provided the worst experience.

It's stinky, and the room facilities are bizarre. Even if it were cheaper, I wouldn't stay here a second time.

The hotel's location is convenient; it's just a short walk from Hakata Station. Staying near Hakata Station is definitely very convenient. This is my second time in Fukuoka and my second time staying in the Hakata Station area. Coming from Tokyo on my westward journey, hotels near Hakata Station are much more expensive. This time, and the last time, the hotels I stayed at weren't even as clean as a motel in Oita's countryside, and the experience wasn't as comfortable as small inns that cost several times less. Nor did they offer the old-money five-star service of established five-star hotels. This is just right outside Hakata Station. Next time I come to Fukuoka, I definitely won't stay in the Hakata Station area.

Coming out of the East 6 exit at Hakata Station's Chikushi Gate (no elevator, so if you have luggage, use the East 7 exit across the street), walk back about 20 meters to the small intersection, turn left, and walk another 30 meters. The location is truly excellent, with everything you could need nearby.

The overall feel is a bit more modern than the Oita branch I stayed at a couple of days ago. It's mainly frequented by foreign tourists, and the 2 PM check-in is a breath of fresh air in the Japanese hotel industry. There are free drinks on the first floor, and complimentary luggage storage before and after check-in.

Considering the price, the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Fukuoka.

Close to Hakata Station, with a convenience store downstairs. The staff were very welcoming. I ordered some items online, and the hotel was able to receive them in advance and give them to me at check-in. They even thoughtfully wrote my customer details on the package! 🥰 The only minor issues were that the hallway lights on the room floors were a bit dim, and the laundry machines were on the 2nd floor. It would be even better if there were more washing machines and dryers available.

Cleanliness: The bathroom door frame was covered in dust, which was a first for me in a Japanese hotel – quite shocking.
Environment: It's right next to Kitahama Station, with a Starbucks, Lawson, and Fresco supermarket downstairs. After 10 PM, there aren't many places to eat.
Service: The staff proactively offered luggage storage when they realized I had two bookings, which was very thoughtful. There are free umbrellas at the hotel entrance.
Facilities: The bathroom was so comfortable with its separate wet and dry areas, and the bathtub was large and clean. Soaking in it every night after returning to the hotel was incredibly relaxing.

Located at the busy Namba which is convenient. But quite walking distance from main Namba station. So if from airport with luggage you need to drag but flat surface. Hotel provided free flow amenities (small towel, hair comb / brush, lotion, milk cleansing, bath powder) at the lobby which is a plus point.

FamilyMart is right opposite hotel and hotel is surrounded with many other restaurants (halal restaurants were also walking distance such as A5 pangk wagyu and tendon halal).

Near with two Donki and near the busy shopping distance. Room was spacious for Japan. Check in and check out was easy. Iron provided / hair dryer upon request.

The location is great, and the hygiene is pretty good too, though once I found a hair on the towel and a tiny hair on the bedsheet. Overall, it's acceptable, but the room is tiny – it's the smallest hotel room I've stayed in in Japan. The service attitude was good, though. Next time I go to Hokkaido, I'll definitely pay more attention to room size before booking a hotel.
