It was simply wonderful! It is undoubtedly the best resort hotel in Portugal, on all levels! I recommend it a thousand times

We were in Pine Cliffs for the second time and we felt the facility, the perfect access to the sea with the lift, the service on the beach as perfect.
The staff and service staff includes Shuttle - service make the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness is particularly highlighted.
The very well maintained facility is exciting. Our 3 room apartment, consisting of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living dining room and 3 large, furnished balconies was exclusively equipped. From our balconies we had a super view of the adjacent golf course and could watch the golfers very well during the game :).

I chose this Sheraton for its convenient access to the airport the next day, and I had high expectations. The actual location is incredibly convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere, and surrounded by various shopping malls. The room facilities and equipment are well-maintained, and the mattress is comfortable. Both the front desk and restaurant staff provided decent service. However, the issues arose with the housekeeping (HSKP) team. Firstly, the room hygiene was poor. There was a clearly visible, bent hair on the bottled drinking water (which had a leather sleeve) from the mini-bar!!!!!!! How did that even happen? What kind of cloth was used? Didn't anyone notice during the room check? I set that bottle of water aside, and when checking out, I provided feedback to the front desk. A GSM or GRO apologized and understood the situation. At that point, I had no demands, only feeling that the HSKP team needed to be more careful in the future. Later that afternoon, on my way back to the hotel to pick up my luggage, I realized I had forgotten a cheesecake in the fridge that I had bought earlier. I informed the front desk and waited a bit. A bellhop then brought it down to me. There was no explanation, apology, or any attempt to compensate for the customer experience. I also don't know where they found it, or if they had proactively discovered it before. By this point, my opinion of the service had already significantly deteriorated, though not enough for me to write a bad review. That was until I returned home and was unpacking, only to find a piece of clothing missing. I had washed it and hung it to dry in the hotel bathroom. Why didn't anyone proactively report a guest's forgotten item during the room check after I checked out? As a guest who had already complained twice, couldn't this have warranted some attention? The clothing wasn't valuable, but the string of errors was truly unacceptable. I was going to email about this, especially since the front desk said they would send the invoice to my email, but I haven't received any email to this day. Wow... honestly, it's unbelievable how many service flaws at this Sheraton were reflected in my experience. What a lucky person I am. As someone in the hotel industry, I believe that both standardized and personalized service should be given more importance in the current market environment. Of course, this time I also experienced firsthand the customer's journey from expectation to disappointment with a hotel. I've shared this case with my team, hoping we can all learn from it and do better.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the lobby is absolutely beautiful, which makes sense since it used to be a palace. The breakfast was especially delicious, and the fresh-squeezed juice was a fantastic touch! 👏😍

I've been to Seoul many times, and each time I've chosen good hotels, but I always felt there was a mismatch between the price and the amenities. This time, however, choosing this hotel finally gave me the feeling of staying in a luxury establishment. The service was excellent; everyone was polite and attentive. Because the weather was so cold, I didn't even want to go out, and the room service I ordered several times was delicious! Plus, the price was very reasonable for a five-star hotel. I highly recommend the steak jjajangmyeon and the galbi-jjim (braised short rib) rice! The hotel restaurant is incredibly difficult to book; I tried nearly a month in advance and still couldn't get a reservation, so those planning to go need to book much earlier.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but I just had to for this one! Today, I decided to explore a different area and moved to a hotel in Hongdae. The contrast was shocking – both are in popular Seoul areas, but the difference was huge! On that note, I'm going to call out 9 Bricks Hotel Hongdae as one to avoid. I'll be reviewing them when I check out tomorrow…

Now, let me praise L'escape – the location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Hoehyeon Station on Subway Line 4, Exit 7. From the escalator at the exit, there are signs directing you to the hotel! Honestly, you don't even need the signs because you can see the hotel as soon as you step out onto the street. There's a slight uphill walk, and as I was halfway up with my luggage, a hotel staff member came running out to help! The service was incredible! 👍

If you don't go above ground from Exit 7, the other direction leads directly into Shinsegae Department Store. It’s a multi-story department store with food, a duty-free shop, luxury goods, and affordable items – great for browsing! Outside on the ground level of Shinsegae, there's a 3D mega-screen, similar to the one at Taikoo Li in Chengdu, but much more visually appealing and with fewer advertisements.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Myeongdong. As a proper tourist, Myeongdong is a must-visit! Especially after exploring Hongdae today… I really want to go back to Myeongdong! 😢

Now, about the hotel itself (my picture arrangement is a bit messy, can't adjust it yet…)

The hotel itself has a distinctive style. It might feel a little old-fashioned and perhaps not ideal for families with young children, but it's clean, tidy, and still very refined! Even the elevators are decorated, somewhat reminiscent of The Ritz in London. The toiletries are BYREDO, just like at Six Senses. The mini-bar is completely free, and the Nespresso capsules and chocolates are excellent. The hotel's restaurant is Michelin-starred year after year – not cheap, but certainly fantastic. The Tea Lounge was closed by the time I arrived, but I'm sure it's also wonderful. The bar on the 26th floor is very chill, and you can get great photos with ease!

The postcards provided in the room are beautiful, and they even offer free mailing! I also love the design of the notepads and the toiletry packaging – the hand-drawn illustration style is gorgeous!

The hotel service is also excellent. Most of the staff speak English and are always ready to help with luggage, calling taxis, and opening car doors.

In summary, it's a high-end hotel service experience through and through! But I only paid just over 800 RMB for my stay – it far exceeded my expectations! Next time I come to Seoul, I will 100% rebook this hotel.
