GGuest UserI loved my 3-night stay at the Catharinenberg. The room, the breakfast, the restaurant and the peaceful location were all lovely, as were all of the staff I encountered. It was April, and everything was beginning to bloom, which was great to see out the windows and from the outdoor terrace. As it was also asparagus season, Holstein asparagus-based dishes (delicious) were featured in the restaurant.

PPARKThe first floor is a restaurant so breakfast is nice and tidy. The room is clean and there is a coffee machine in the room that refills 4 capsules daily. There is no microwave and an electric pot is available upon request. Towels should be requested. You should ask for a new towel every day (usually you can't replace it if you just wear it). Conveniently located in front of the market.

Her warm and welcoming attitude instantly put me at ease when I arrived—she efficiently handled my check-in, patiently answered all my questions about local travel, and even shared thoughtful tips on nearby Chinese-friendly restaurants and convenient public transport routes.
As a Chinese guest, being able to communicate smoothly in Mandarin with her eliminated any language stress, making my entire stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out, and she’s a wonderful asset to your team.
I would definitely recommend your hotel to others, and I look forward to staying here again. Thank you for having such a fantastic staff member!

🍺 In the 1st floor is a refrigerator with drinks and snacks that you can take and pay when you leave.
🚬 For smokers there is a ”smoking balcony”.
🥐 I didn't try breakfast because I was not hungry, but I was offered a ”caffee to go” that I liked to accept.

GGuest UserEin sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bietet teilweise noch Charme vergangener Jahrzehnte. Das Frühstück wird in einem sehr schönen Saal angeboten mit Blick auf den See, ein tolles Ambiente.
Auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt mit Sicherheit zu empfehlen!
