Hotels with Breakfast in Hamilton

Due to the good accommodation experience, good value for money, good service staff communication, very close to several supermarkets, it is very convenient to go to THE BASE, not far away, continued for two days.

Although the Badger was a motel that was jet lag behind the plane in a hurry, it left me a very good impression. First of all, we originally needed 2-3 to checkin, but due to the flight, we arrived at 12 o'clock, but asked le to check in early, the store is very friendly, let us check in early to rest. Secondly, this price is relatively OK in Hamilton, the facilities are very new, very clean and tidy, mainly hot springs can be bubbled to relieve fatigue, for high balls and long-distance tourists are really friendly. Quite the respite while transiting down from Auckland. This cozy place is smack dab in the middle of Tanui, right on the river. It makes walking to avail oneself of the many charming restaurants a breeze. Parking is a bit tough, but there's some street parking and reasonably priced garages nearby. Overall a solid hotel worth looking at!

Hotel/Motel that goes the extra mile. Lots of extras. We stayed in a King Spa Room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. High quality linen. Real coffee and a coffee press in the room. Reclining chairs to watch TV. Quiet at night. Located outside of the main downtown area, but a short drive by car. Friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend this motel.

The hotel is about 2.5km from the Hamilton train station. We took a taxi from the train station, and the driver charged us NZD25. My booking confirmation said that the check out time was 11:00, but the hotel insisted it should be 10:00 which is fine. The booking confirmation clearly say that breakfast was free, but the hotel tried to charge 13 pp. Hamilton is a nice place which is close to Waitomo and Hobbiton.

I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay.

The room was too new; the hotel seems to be run by Indians, as the decor still had a slight odor. Just for your reference, thanks! ☺️
