CCunA very perfect resort, the hotel is in an excellent location, I like the villa design and decoration style, the important thing is to pay attention to details and quality, of course, environmental protection considerations; the staff is very friendly, and introduces the hotel facilities to guests when checking in. The beach is also perfect, and I want to rest and enjoy the beach and sunshine every day; the holiday home has its own dedicated swimming pool, and the bedroom and bathroom are designed and decorated to make the guests comfortable; the SPA service provided by the hotel is more expensive, but it is also enjoyable. There is a desire to sleep in the soothing music, and the technicians have high professional skills; the breakfast is very good. It happened to encounter a free kayaking activity. Since it was the first time to experience this sport, I started to adapt a little, but I soon became proficient. The staff led in front and was very responsible. The experience of this process was very good; the breakfast dining environment was comfortable, and you could also enjoy the beach view while eating breakfast; after checking out, the hotel car and service staff sent you to the pier of the island. Thank you very much for the warm reception of the staff.

GGuest UserStarting with the positives, Tolani resort has really friendly staff who bent over backwards to make your stay pleasant. It also has beautiful rooms our bungalow was clean and comfortable with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. It gave a feeling of luxury though the water pressure in the shower was really bad. It’s outside of the rooms that this resort falls flat.
Tolani is positioning itself as a luxury resort and with a high price point to match but for the money it doesn’t deliver. The resort is supposedly on the beach but in reality the beach is not easily accessible from the resort. You can climb over rocks and swim over to the beach but it’s not easy. This means you will not have any sun loungers on the beach which can be an issue as the pool area is very small with only a handful of beds there. It’s also what you want from a beach front resort.
The food at the resort including breakfast is very poor but very expensive. Thankfully there are great restaurants nearby but we didn’t have a single good meal here. Drinks and food are massively overpriced for the island too.
We also had a poor experience at checkout. We had given our scooter back to the hire place but needed to head to the shops and so my wife asked if it was possible to get a taxi. A kind member of staff offered to run her up the road quickly in their car which we assumed was just a kind gesture. On checkout they charged us 15 euros for this trip. That’s an outrageous price for a 5 minute ride down the road but it also wasn’t communicated to us that we would be charged at the time as we wouldn’t have agreed. When we challenged this they told us we had to pay. It left a really bad taste in the mouth and it showcased this place is mainly looking to make money off its guests and not about creating a good experience.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there are better resorts for the price point and the food and facilities are both sorely lacking. The lovely staff are not enough to save the price gouging happening here.

GGuest UserA beautiful hotel, a good location next to the pier. There is a beach with sand and stones. You can see fish. A great restaurant and beautiful villas with sea view and palm trees. You can have a good rest. But this hotel loves families with breast-feeding children. You will have breakfast, sunshine and enjoy sunset for dinner under the cry and the cry of the children

KKrisDThere aren't many options on the island to accommodate a large family in one place, and this house was a great choice for us. The villa accommodated our entire large family, and although the bungalows are quite simply equipped, the area around is simply stunning - green, well-kept and cozy. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches on the island, next to which there is all the necessary infrastructure. A great place for those who are looking for accommodation for a large group and do not require too many sophisticated amenities, but appreciate nature and location!

PPockatmzEvery time I come to Koh Kood, I stay at only the Captain Hook resorts. This time I brought my elders with me. I couldn't book in time, so there was only Captain Hook, a pool suit room left. I usually come on weekdays, but this time I came during the New Year period. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and diving around the resort was the end. There were a lot of fish, medium, and large. The accommodation is suitable for those who like peace and quiet. There is no beach in front of the resort, but you have to kayak across, less than 50 meters.

But … the staff doesn’t speak very well English ( apart from the responsable persons in every service) .
But gettinginformation at the reception is very difficult and getting g the right info at the restaurant ( apart from the menu) is also not possible.
The management should really invest in English courses for their staff , as well as invest in the maintenance ( very , very poor) .
It looks like that after the pandemic, the owners of Cham’s house want to earn a maximum of money , without investing..
it’s a pity that this wonderful place is loosing it’s glamour ..

But in the bathroom, the tiles in the shower area are very slippery. It should be changed to rough tiles. If you wash your hair or massage your hair, it is very difficult to stand.
The towel hanger in the bathroom has a loose screw that makes it impossible to hang.
The air conditioner is cool, but when I stayed, there was a little accident. At 9 pm, when I was going to take a shower, the water did not flow. I waited for about half an hour. But I like that the staff can be contacted and do not abandon customers. They reply quickly when I send Line messages. They solve the problem well.
I booked without breakfast, which is okay. I secretly went to look at the breakfast. It looked very delicious. 😅 Overall, I like it. The resort is not on the beach. You can walk down to the beach. The beach is beautiful, Million Beach. The sunset is very beautiful.
PS. I forgot to take a picture of the bed, but the bed is soft and comfortable. The blanket is very warm.

GGuest UserThe service you get at Far East is great. Ask for something and it happens straight away. We asked reception for bins to be changed and it happened straight away. I then asked cleaners to do it all days we were there and they did plus new towels and waters.
The breakfast has a good variety. There is a guy who makes coffees for you and you can see he takes pride in the craft. On our third day he saw us walk in and made it without asking- lovely.
The grounds are well looked after. It seems to be raked every day. There was a cat poo near our room one morning. When we came home from exploring, it was gone.
It is walking distance to resteraunts.
We'd stay again.

Objectively, the furniture needs to be changed and repairs done. The territory also has old furniture in places that need to be replaced! The sockets in the house are terrible! GGuest UserThe hotel is very cozy. We lived in a bungalow with a sea view.
The advantages include:
1. Clean rooms and bed linen
2. No insects or other living creatures in the rooms.
3. A really good view - double bungalows are located in the first row right by the sea, the beauty is indescribable!
4. The beach. Yes, this is the southernmost beach and it is quite far from the main infrastructure of the island. But it is simply beautiful! Apart from the Secret AWD Beach, this is the best on the island. Shallow entrance to the sea, the cleanest, literally transparent water, soft sand without stones which is pleasant to walk on! On the pier you can take ”Instagram” photos and admire the fish that literally swim here in schools.
5. The breakfasts were good.
6. The family atmosphere of the hotel. Everything is very cozy here. The hostess cooks in the kitchen herself, she strives to help you. We came to the island directly from Cambodia, without having time to change money, the banks were closed that day, so the owner changed our money herself at a good rate. The other guests are also very nice people, and if you know English, you can make new acquaintances. For example, our neighbor in the bungalow, as it turned out, came to this hotel for the tenth time, and I understand why.
7. Well, in general, the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. When you sit in the bar, you get the impression that you ended up in one of the films of the 80-90s about adventures in hot countries or in a video of the band La ketchup. Very atmospheric.
The disadvantages are minor, but they still need to be mentioned:
1. Upon check-in, we discovered that one towel, apparently, was forgotten to be washed. It is strange that no one noticed this, because it smelled strongly of sweat.
2. The price in the bar-restaurant is quite expensive. This is especially aggravated by the fact that the hotel is on the very edge of the island and the only alternative within walking distance is a restaurant 800 m from the hotel - but the food there, although cheaper, is spicy.
3. Still, you need to understand that the conditions in the bungalow are quite Spartan. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator (there are in the rooms on the second line), nor a kettle (hot water was in the bar). The room is no frills. The shower is very simple next to the toilet and in general the bathroom already needs renovation. But the price of the hotel is the lowest of all the hotels on the island (those near the beach).
However, the atmosphere and the beach more than compensate for these shortcomings)
