"A perfect hotel!! The location is incredible, right inside the reserve with a beautiful mountain view. The hotel service is excellent — they know a little English and are very service-oriented. They upgraded us for free to a huge room. There’s bed heating, floor heating, and plenty of hot water. The room itself was huge and beautiful with everything you need. The hotel has a restaurant that’s really delicious, and there’s always tea and candy available to take. They helped us understand which trails to do and how to get everywhere in the reserve. One night, one of us felt altitude sickness, and they helped us a lot with an oxygen machine and excellent service with genuine care. Overall, a top-tier hotel."

"From check-in to check-out, everything was thoughtful. The concierge and front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, even thoughtfully preparing brown sugar ginger tea and welcome fruits. Facilities: The hotel has a 24-hour medical oxygen bar, and just 10 minutes there quickly relieves altitude sickness. The rooms have a diffuse medical oxygen supply, which lowers the perceived altitude to about 2700 meters, allowing for a good night's sleep. Service: As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a butler helped with our luggage and escorted us to our room after check-in. The next morning, when we were checking out, the front desk proactively asked if we needed help with our luggage, which was a very thoughtful touch. Hygiene: The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, was clean, tidy, and well-ventilated. The lobby was also kept spotless at all times. The airport shuttle stop is right outside the hotel, and booking certain room types includes a free airport drop-off, making it the best choice for return journeys."

"If you ever need a place to calm your excitement, or a spot to let your happiness linger a little longer before heading to Daocheng Yading airport, Sanmao is the place for you. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to the vastness of Western Sichuan after a challenging hike. It is cozy, aesthetic, clean, and spacious enough for your body to finally relax. It is best if you arrive on a sunny day. You can sit under the tree with the sunlight dancing, music playing, and the two birds nearby - one trying to sing you a song, the other chirping a 'nihao' to welcome you. In that moment, you will feel your heart at peace. If you ever need anything, the owner is always there to support you in a heartbeat (They speak English fluently!). If Western Sichuan is a dream, Sanmao is the perfect ending to a memory you will hold dear for a lifetime."

"The B&B's overall ambiance is amazing, with a strong ethnic vibe everywhere. The owner, a lovely lady, is incredibly gentle and kind, offering attentive and thoughtful service. She can help arrange travel tickets and tour itineraries. The location is superb, just a five or six-minute walk to the scenic area, and they even offer free shuttle service to and from town. The front desk staff patiently recommends local specialty dishes, making dining and getting around super convenient. I highly recommend it! Although I didn't take any pictures, I truly urge everyone to go; I promise I'm not a shill!"

"Went with a friend, and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful! When we arrived in the morning, they immediately updated us on the weather conditions in Yading and gave us tips. The landlady even helped us carry our luggage up to the room while we went to explore Daocheng. When we came back, we had a nice chat with them. I also noticed how wonderfully patient and pleasant they were with other guests. The place was very clean too. I'll definitely be back!"

"I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection."

Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region."

During the day, you can watch the snowy peaks and clouds, and at night, enjoy the Milky Way from the rooftop bar – the ambiance is incredible. 🎨 Superb Design and Facilities It boasts a light ******* luxury style, having won a CBDA design award, with incredibly high-quality details. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with floor heating, a humidifier, and Wi-Fi, making for a very comfortable stay at high altitude. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains right from your bed – perfect for photos! 👩🍳 Five-Star Service and Experience The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively helped with luggage, lent us hiking poles and windbreakers, and provided excellent tips for the scenic area. They offer free blood oxygen testing and have an oxygen concentrator, so there's no need to panic about altitude sickness. In the evenings, there are ******* dance lessons and complimentary ******* clothing experiences, offering an immersive taste of ******* culture. The highland barley cakes, matsutake chicken noodle soup, and butter tea were all incredibly delicious – we were full every day. Having breakfast in the scenic restaurant, accompanied by snow-capped mountains and blooming flowers, was an absolute joy. When you come to Yading, don't hesitate to book Sangyelinka! Beautiful design, stunning views, warm service, delicious breakfast, and excellent value for money. Next time I visit Yading, I'll definitely stay here again and will enthusiastically recommend it to all my friends!"
