"Absolutely amazing! The price was reasonable, the room was beautiful, and there was even a swimming pool. The only minor drawback is that the transportation isn't super convenient; it's about an 18-minute walk to the train station and city center. However, the bus service is pretty good, just remember to plan ahead and buy your tickets in advance. Seriously, the room was fantastic – the best one I stayed in during my entire Europe trip! The front desk lady was lovely and incredibly helpful. I'd give this place a super high rating! The only tiny issue was with the city tax; it felt a bit disorganized as they checked again before I left, thinking I hadn't paid, even though I had. But those are just minor things. Definitely giving this a huge thumbs up! Everyone should stay here! 🌸"

"The hotel is located in the suburbs, far from the city center, but it has a pool and is very good value for money. The bar on the first floor of the hotel is good and reasonably priced, although they don't serve meals. The staff can speak English well, and I asked them to arrange a taxi for me because I was leaving early in the morning, and the taxi arrived before my reservation time. There is a supermarket nearby, so the location is good."

"Very modern and great location only 500 metres from the beach and walkways. Good bus links to Barcelona with ample choice of buses and frequencies. Fantastic variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes. Great location for timely access to the airport. Wonderful bedrooms with excellent super king size bed; modern bathroom complete with sunken bath and daily towel change and cleaning of the room. Only one downside, bathroom entrance does not have a door! As it is designed open plan with only a wall dividing the bathroom from the bedroom. Overall excellent rating and would definitely book again."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel. It’s in a great location on a hill, easy to reach by car, and much more grand than we expected, felt a bit like a hacienda. From the photos it looked a bit old-fashioned, but in reality it has real character. The rooms are modernized and well kept, and the outdoor area with the pool is beautiful. Service throughout the hotel was great, with staff being very friendly everywhere — perhaps just a little too professional at reception. Location and value for money: excellent."

"Hotel Ciudad is quite good: location in three minute walk from beach, cleanliness, welcoming staff, variety of food for breakfast, hot water, .. It would be even better with a kettle in the rooms. )) I enjoyed those four days in Casteldefells."

"The hotel was unstaffed after 10:30 PM. The bed was quite small, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. And the air conditioning was excessively noisy. It's easily accessible from the city center by bus. It's also very close to the beach, so I'd recommend it for leisure trips, but not for business travel."
